My family stumbled upon this park while on the 2018 Tour DCoop — otherwise its pretty hidden back in the South Park neighborhood and would probably be hard to notice. It was remodeled in the last year and has a wonderful variety of equipment for ages 2–12. The older kids area is shaded with canopies (the small play set isnt shaded). There is a nice grassy area at the edge of the park that was heavily shaded in the early morning. The whole playground is enclosed by chain link fence with two gates. It was very clean on our visit. I like that the equipment is quite unique and we plan to visit again! Parking is just on the street next to the park (on a corner lot) and there arent bathrooms, but there is a water fountain.
