What a Great place . My Daughter loves the school ,the environment and all the Staff ... Highly Recommended

This place changed my life. If you have an energetic or theater loving kid bring them here because the kind directors will not only teach your kids the basics of theater, but how to work as a team and be kind to others.

I went to see my six year old nephew perform. They did a modernized version of Snow White, and they did AWESOME! Tickets were only five dollars, but I wouldve gladly paid more. Fantastic job Raleigh ACT!

My niece was in a production of singing in rain..it was fantastic! The kids were great. I love coming to see the performances its like mini Broadway.

Raleighact offers more than auditions, rehearsals, and shows. Your children will grow into hard workers all while having fun. Great Joy in seeing my daughters growth since her first introduction to Ms Blaire and Ms Paula! She is learning life skills that will be with her always.

My daughter had such a wonderful experience at acting camp last week! There was so much love and support and encouragement from the staff ... and we were so impressed with the play at the end of the week. We will definitely be signing up for another camp!

They added a light menu (600 calories or less). Great add! Would be great if they extend the calorie count to all menu items.

I love Raleigh ACT. More importantly, my son loves it! Its a great stomping ground for young actors to learn their craft from great teachers. Ive been astounded by the budding and bloomed talent that abounds. The students are all challenged and have a strong work ethic instilled as well. My son has been in three of the shows. I have loved watching them. The kids are so well prepared and you can see the joy. The fantastic teachng and hard work pays off! Blair, Paula and Amanda are all pros! They really show kids how Broadway dreams are born. I just cant recommend it highly enough.

A few weeks ago I attended one of their performances of Beauty and the Beast and it was fantastic! The acting was awesome and their singing was phenomenal. They even had one of the children play her violin during one of the musical numbers! It was great to see how excited all the children were! Definitely going to go back and see another show

Great local place to watch a show

I continue to be so grateful for our decision to join RaleighACT. My children have thrived here and learned so much --- including how to care well for your friends and be a team player. Parent after parent I interact with after classes all praise Miss Blaire and Miss Paulas creative input and care for their children. We just LOVE RaleighACT!!

Raleigh ACT is a great place for kids to learn about theater and have fun! EVERY SINGLE CHILD gets to perform every time, no kid is left out!! Ms. Spruill is one of the best teachers I know; she is encouraging, fair, loving, and understanding. She treats every student with love and respect. Kids and parents love her and the work she does because she knows what she is doing!

The kids learn so much. All childrens are given an opportunity to shine. The teachers are all so amazing and so caring !!!!!! Best thing about our move to N.C.!!!!!

I love Raleigh Area Childrens Theatre, the director, Amanda Blaire Spruil, is so kind and has help from her best friend Paula Bass. Raleigh Area Childrens Theatre is an amazing place for kids to learn, have fun, and grow. Every single show has creativity, fun, and life mixed into all of it. I cant imagine not having Raleigh ACT in my life!!!

My 10 yr old daughter just finished her 2nd show and loved the experience. Were grateful for Ms. Blaire and the entire staff and volunteer group for being so helpful and kind. Well definitely be going back and cannot recommend Raleigh ACT enough! My daughter improved tremendously and so we see the proof of great teaching. Ms Blaire and Ms. Gail have always been the model of professional courteous and helpful in ALL our dealings. Cant say enough good things about them, the program and our experience.

Raleigh ACT is absolutely the BEST childrens theater out there! Both of my children have participated in shows & camps here and have learned so much. It is not only fun for the children but the shows they put on are fabulous!!

Went to a school play here to see family members perform. This is small but has elevated seat rows so all can see the stage. Only one restroom for everyone so plan ahead.

The previous one star reviews are wildly inaccurate! My children have been participating in the classes and camps at Raleigh ACT for the past three years. The Raleigh ACT policy is to give EVERY CHILD an opportunity to perform. (Their motto is Come As You Are... Become A Star!) Theyve never taken a child out of a show or not awarded them a part. Ms. Spruill is always kind, fair, fun, and extremely educated in theater arts. My 7 year old daughter grew and changed dramatically in her abilities after her first camp. We are amazed at the amount of knowledge that Raleigh ACT is able to bestow on such young children! My 4 and 5 year olds are now performing in shows and they know every line and every song. Their prices are the most reasonable youll find in Raleigh and the teachers are outstanding! We are thrilled that our children have the incredible opportunity to be a part of this theater!

The gym is terrible. Its unnecessarily hot with zero ventilation.

What alternative Universe are K. Smith and M. Shore reviewing??? My children have performed with RaleighACT since the day they opened their doors. Not once have I seen a child not receive a part - with lines- in a show. Not. Once. The staff of RaleighACT are skilled professionals led by the undeniably talented and passionate Director, Ms. Blaire. I dont know if Smith and Shore (if those are even real names) are trying to start their own theater BUT creating false reviews for competitors is not the classy way to do it. Ms. Blaire loves children and gives sacrificially to create an environment for them to challenge themselves in an emotionally safe environment. Without fail. Raleigh Area Childrens Theater rocks!!!!

Saw my niece perform here. A wonderful place.

My daughter has attended many camps with RaleighACT and not once have we ever seen a child not participate in a show. Hopefully you discussed your situation with Ms. Blaire (as this is what the children call her, not Ms. Spruill). My daughter then moved on from camps to be in the Step Up class and perform at JTF. Ms. Blaire does a wonderful job working with each child on their level of comfort and talent. Highly recommend!!

My son and I had a great time attending a show at Raleigh ACT! Everyone was very kind and even ushered us to sit up front so he could see!

They help the kids any way possible and you are never alone.
