Follows Covid-19 guidelines to a T. I take a college class there, and there are marked spots for seating which make the environment better for social distancing purposes. Many mask requirement signs, though walking in areas where youre by yourself like parking lots or outdoor areas (just you) dont require a mask since theres no one there but you to begin with. However there are outdoor patches of grass nearby that DO require masks for sporting and outdoor since its next to the building (like the convenient signage says).Auditorium is very comfortable, I will add. Cushy seats .

Great venue and a beautiful campus

I have been here many times, and every time is enjoyable. All seats can see the screen and the seats are very comfortable.

Great venue, good seating, and free popcorn hits the spot. Not bad for classes either. Lots of room so that you dont feel cramped together in a lecture

This place is great for college students because they offer cheaper tickets! The theater is definitely older so dont expect the reclining seats. It definitely is more run down then your average theater but for the price its worth it.

Free to NC state students! Movie schedule can be found on NC state website. The university also sends the schedule to students via email. The screen is not very big and the sound system is fairly good. But its free, so cant complain.PS: They also give out free popcorn.

I come here for class at 8:30 in the morning so Im barely awake enough to know what I really think of this space. Thats why I gave it a 3.

Good (albeit old and not current) selection of movies available to students for viewing.

A fun place to be at . Being a student at NC state, I went for a movie screening along with other students and it was a nice experience to watch a film with a like minded crowd, as in, targeted age group.

Always love visiting the campus cinema. Especially when they have screenings of new movies. Free popcorn are a big plus.

Newly renovated space with decent lighting, reupholstered seating, and decent sounds.

Witherspoon is a great place to be. They show free movies on Thursday and Friday nights with free popcorn. And its open to the public not just for students.

The place is lovely to make a gathering event with your community.

Affordable cinema for the student community. Blockbusters hit the screen about 4 months after global release and they go out of the way to ensure we dont miss out on good ones. They have occasional free screenings like the recent screening of Deadpool. A clean, nice and big cinema.Be warned: The Large Popcorn will last you 10 minutes if you buy it 15 minutes before the show starts. Buy it just before the show to enjoy it for a while.

I was there for a college preview day, to learn about admittance policies and such. It was a fairly small space even with the smaller amount of people in there.

Beautiful campus just avoid during State Fair

If you are on campus and looking to hangout with friends this is the place to be when there is a screening. There is free popcorn given at the beginning of every show. Also there are some special screenings sometimes.

Good sound system and good service.

Has one main auditorium, used for larger lectures. I had a couple engineering lectures here, scholars forum, and an economics class. Ive also seen movies here as part of the scholars / UAB film series. Last year the 2nd Chance prom was held here.

The ground outside is beautiful and the environment is a one that is buzzing

Great place for NCSU students and alumni to watch a discounted movie. Took one star off since you have to find parking but other than that everything is quite decent for the setting.

Not really much student space here that I know of. Free movies at the movie theater from time to time are nice though. Just renovated the field outside to be more presentable.

Pretty good for free movie and low cost student movie. But the facility is no compare to those cinema franchise.

Whats not to love? Witherspoon Cinema is easily accessible to (and free for) NC State students, and they have a great selection of recent movies based off what students vote to have shown.
