I cannot speak at all to the legitimacy of the golf course. However, the Mission Beef & Brews restaurant is not at all what it seems like its gonna be, unfortunately...Im pretty sure the Mission Beef is just grilled-up Bubba Burgers that you can find at the store. Im not terribly surprised for a clubhouse burger (its definitely a cheaper option). But the website made it sound like theyd be nicely put-together, legit burgers, which they definitely werent. Not TERRIBLE, just not what I was hoping for..

As a new golfer, I really like this course. Its interesting and every hole has its own character, and definitely challenging enough for someone who is still learning. Price point seems fair for the quality of the course. Only removed 1 star because lately the mask-wearing in the clubhouse has been spotty at best, which is especially concerning for those behind the food/bar counter. Do not appreciate their failure to comply with the mask mandate.

Complete practice facilities; driving range, chipping, and putting greens. Course is narrow but well-maintained. Difficult course to walk due to long travel between holes. On Fridays its pretty packed so if youre planning on playing then Id highly recommend getting a tee time.

Generally poor-to-moderate course conditions. None of the three people in the clubhouse were wearing masks (August 2020) - including the snack bar, and that guy clearly cared about nothing anyway, texting while Im waiting to ask for a snack. The online rate was $35 but we were charged $42. The course was backed up and we started about 15 minutes late. Additionally, a foursome jumped in between my group and the one in front of us probably around the 12th hole.I dont like to leave bad reviews, but the people who run this place clearly dont care about it.

It was my first time there not a terrible coarse. My complaints are that the fairways had tons of patches and the sand was hard. The green were ok guess just depends on the day they landscape. The people that live in the coarse were very noisy and didnt consider golfers. Also had people walking on the coarse when I was teeing off. The back nine was much better I thought because the people that lived there were respectful. Other then that Id play again maybe not my first choice

Im writing this review just to compliment them on the huge improvements to the course conditions. I played a few days ago and was extremely impressed with the greens! I hope the rest of the course grows in better, I know they have been working very hard to improve the conditions, and it is paying off! For the price it is a nice course with a nice layout and good balance of difficulty. Its not the longest, even from the tips, but the tighter setup encourages you to club down and play it properly if you are a long hitter. Keep up the good work!

Ive been playing here for 10 years. The overall condition of the course is great, much better over the past few years. The Maintenance team is really doing an outstanding job getting this course back into extremely desirable playing conditions. New cart paths make for a very smooth ride. Greens are rolling true and quick, and are in the best shape Ive ever seen! Pro shop staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This is a nice course to play and offers a solid challenge from the back tees, to even the single-digit handicapper. Decent driving range (brand new balls) and an even better short game chipping area.

Don’t drive by this golf course. They let their players hit balls into the road. My car was hit with a fly golf ball with the player no where to be found when we stopped. Golf course states they aren’t responsible. They need netting up if they are right beside the road.

I have been playing Hedingham Golf Course for over 20 years. I have seen the course in bad conditions and good conditions. The course is now in the best condition I have seen in this time. The fairways and greens are in great shape which makes it a pleasure to play. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and encourages suggestions and comments about course conditions. This is a very woman friendly course and I highly recommend it for an enjoyable round of golf.

Had a few buddies and I head over to Hedingham for after work earlier this week. The staff was very nice and got us out on the front 9 to play while they had a little event on the back side. The course was certainly playable. The greens appear to be coming back to a good place, and I would certainly expect that the hard work that is occurring should have this course back in solid condition very soon. It was an enjoyable time, and we will be back.

Ive been playing Hedingham for many years. Ive seen the down side that you see in many reviews and Ive seen the upside. The course was in pretty bad shape earlier this year but I am so pleased at the improvements that have made. The greens are great and in the best shape they have been in in years. Could be some the best in the area right now. The fairways and tee boxes are good and are steadily improving. Highly recommend you give it a try.

This place gets 4 stars for a few reasons- we booked this last minute and they worked hard to get us in. Staff was very friendly, Greens had just been aerated but course overall was in good shape. Wish it had a grill or food options. It either doesn’t exist or was closed.

The greens keeper should be fired. The greens are great, but the fairways are horrible. Literally, there is no grass on the fairways or tee boxes. How do you kill Bermuda grass like this? The course needs to be sodded to give it a chance to come back. Stupid spraying of chemicals has killed the grass.

I really enjoyed my round at Hedingham. My brother-in-law from D.C. and I were mistakingly late for our tee time. We thought it was 8:40, when in fact it was 8:20. Nonetheless, the kind Manger explained the situation with a shot-gun start to a tourney and that theyd accommodate us as best as possible. Get this: they did, and even checked on us while on the course. I really appreciate this and find this missing in modern customer service/satisfaction whether at a golf course or otherwise. For this, the very well maintained course, and great atmosphere Hedinghams Management pulled together, I offer a full 5-stars and hope you tee off there soon!

I stopped by to hit some balls at the range here but wasnt able to. Just as a heads up to those wanting to have some range time, you need a collared shirt. I am well aware of course etiquette but I have never been to a range that required a collar. Maybe its just me.

Course is located within the residentialcommunity of Hedingham and actually winds its way through t the entire subdivision following a rather sporadic path that somehow wins up creating a unique backdrop for golfing. The course itself is not overly challenging for a decent player, but the uniqueness of the layout keeps your interest. Open to the public and very reasonably priced.

Best staff I have ever seen. Jerry the head pro is extremely personable and so is everyone that works there. I left my keys in the proshop and the cart guy stayed the entire time with me, and Jerry even drove from 45 mins away to unlock the clubhouse at 9 when he had to be up to open the shop on a holiday weekend. The course could use some work but they are definitely on the right track to being where they need to be and the price is good.

I had a terrible experience at Hedingham on 1/13/18. The course was in fairly good shape considering cold weather this winter and heavy rain the day before. But I would like to warn people playing 18 holes that some of the golf carts at this course run out of battery power, and the courses responsiveness to this issue is unacceptable. There is a sheet in the cart that discloses their fleet of carts is having issues, but when you purchase a round with cart included on GolfNow, it is the expectation is that the cart will be functioning properly.Details: The battery started noticeably losing juice on the 11th hole, which meant that for most of the back nine, any incline at all would make the cart slow to a snails pace. When I finally arrived near the 18th, an attendant on the course (who was driving out to retrieve another patron with a cart issue) told me a shortcut that would take me through the nearby neighborhood which was a series of large hills. The cart was barely moving. At this point, I called the pro-shop and the guy there came out to get me. When he got there, I started taking my clubs out to transfer them to his functioning golf cart to ride back to the pro shop, and then he asked me to stay in my cart so that he could PUSH ME BACK WITH HIS CART?!?!? This was unacceptable. He proceeded to push me with his cart 0.5 miles according to Google maps. He did not inquire about when the issue with the cart started occurring, he did not apologize, and he did not offer any sort of discount on the round or voucher for another round. This had to be the most unprofessional interaction Ive ever had on a golf course.

This course was just shut down for 2 months in the middle of the season two years ago to replace the greens. The greens are again going to hell. Their maintenance is awful. The houses are tighter to the course than anywhere else in the Raleigh-Durham area. The cart paths have needed replaced for 5 years. This place could be much better if they had any kind of interest in proper maintenance.
