Thought the Unisex bathroom might be a little cleaner, given the compliant some people had about the other facilities near hear. Ive seen much worse. However the individual Unisex was looked a bit beat up and no seat even, on the commode... At least they are not all locked like another park nearby. Thanks!

I love this park.

Pompano park is quite a spacious area to frolic with you kids or get a night job/workout at. There are tennis courts, two full size basketball courts, a racked ball wall, playground, and workout stops around the 1 mile path as well as plenty of field to place catch. The playground is fenced in for those concerned parents, but it is a bit close to a major road (US1). It has a bathroom, that at the moment is in reconstruction, and water fountains as well as a pool connected to the park. These is also a second playground area a bit deeper in the park near the baseball fields and pool. This one has much higher fences and is away from any major roads but is smaller. Overall, this is a wonderful park, but beware, it is a common place for the homeless in the area.A little added extra for this park, there is an Aldi directly across from the park. So if your picnic needs a few missing things, you wont have to go far.

It is obvious why this is Pompano Beach back yard. There is so much to do: conservatory of flowers, de-young museum, academy of science, Dutch windmill, beach chalet. The list goes on. I am just happy riding the bike. If only I could add a stop along the way and have a good sun-worshiping moment. He he. Gotta have dreams.

I frequent the playgrounds in this park a lot, but its a shame as it seems to be declining in cleanliness. The last few times that I have brought my daughter the playground is so filthy. There are water bottles and potato chip bags on the ground even though there are four garbage cans inside the playground area and some outside. People should really try to maintain the playground area clean.

Ive been taking my kids there when they were young. My kids loved it! The whole place is in need of maintenance and a high pressure water cleaning. The kids dont seem to care and dont even see that; they have fun and enjoy the park ... and thats what matters most.Great to see that Fairyland is still around.

I was actually in the Community Center part of the parks. The building and grounds are both very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Nice park with a lot of pickleball courts. It is well maintained and really busy with sports activities late in the evening.

I love this park. Ive been coming on and off for about 10 years now to get a good work out in. The only downside is the homeless.

You can find all the sports enthusiasts in this place. You can bring your own sports stuff (football, volleyball, tennis bat/balls etc) and practice here.What I know:Families and friends walking/jogging/running together.Body builders and Yogis practicing.Places to sit and watch the games, especially the older ones use it.Inside the tennis court (looks like its for the members only). But outside, I have practiced myself too without any hesitation. People are very friendly here.Played some soccer and volleyball too.A nice place to see the private aircrafts parked around.Free parking.Can see lot of people with wheel chairs to relax which is good.Kids play area is available.Can find all age groups.Overall a useful place for the community.

You have tennis, volleyball, basketball and plenty of open fields for about anything else. Great park. Not to far from the beach .

Nice Park. I play volleyball there. One of the 2 courts has no lines so players have to bring their own. The bathrooms are locked so we had to drive to use the bathroom

The Park was serene, I put my window up and went to sleep. Ducks were strolling the perimeters, and some were bathing in the rain water that settled. It was a rainy afternoon. Nonetheless, nice, people were even playing tennis. Later!

Good park for the family. Very clean and well maintain. Lots of stuff to do not only for kids but adults too. I highly recommend.

Located near Amphitheatre, tennis complex and aqautic/swimming pool. This park hosts multiple fairs, swap, arts, musical, marine/nautical, food and cultural activities and festivals. It might be a beautiful park but half the time the gates are closed. Not sure why we’re paying all these taxes and not have access to the park! It’s a beautiful day on a holiday weekend and all you can do is walk around this lovely park! But you can’t get in!!

Nice park except for the nasty homeless people. There are some seriously crazy ones in there looking for trouble. Best to call the police and keep it moving

Unity in the Community at Pompano Community Park was a whole lot of fun! Broward Sheriffs Office brought out a whole bunch of cool units like SWAT the k9 unit, Helicopter and they even had their own BSO band. Lots of great activities for the kids food, drink and music. It was a whole situation def going again next year!

The layout of the park is magnificent full of activities. Swimming, concert area, baseball field, and a soccer field. Not to mention areas that can be rented for family gathering and 2 kids playground

Really cool venue with lots of space. I just wish there was more shade for those hot shows during the day.

One of my favorite places. Big enough for anybody who wants to play, relax, supervise kids or sports.

A really nice place for kids

This is where the John P Kee/Marvin Sapp concert was held. It was horrible! We had to stand in line outside in the rain, the concert was held outdoors so the wet seats had to be wiped down. The acoustics were so loud that people complained and the sound was distorted. The show was supposed to start at 5 pm, by 7:30 I still hadnt seen my two favorite singers. Since I recently had knee surgery, I couldnt sit any longer. It rained all the time and when people opened their umbrellas, you couldnt even see the stage. Absolutely horrible, I left at 7:30

Lots of things for the kids to play on.

The parking lot was uneven a little difficult to manouver. There is a ramp to go to the handicap area. Helpful. I had fun. Security was helpful. I had a good time.

If u want to practice driving,puting and sandtrap practicing wonderful. Golf is also good. Busy but good.

Love this park. This is my dogs favorite park. We go every weekend. In the summer go early if you have a big dog. Not to much shade and not to much seating either. But we love going there and it is one of the nice parks in Broward County.

Great park with a variety of options for activities/sports. Just watch out for the people driving the golf carts...they drive like crazy, specially in the playgrounds parking lot (the one near by the pool). They need to slow down and be concerned about the kids in that area.

After the new playground the park has risen in quality. They have a lot of tennis courts which brings all sorts of different people to the park. I used to participate in the Presidential Physical Fitness.

I have a great amount of history with this park. As a child, park has changed significantly in the greatest way possible. Everything from the play ground, to the walking trait, tennis courts, drown to its homeless. (Give the city help the homeless find near-by shelters)

Nice park in the actual playground. No bathroom as of right now but there is Port a potties not ideal for children. Homeless population is a bit large here. Trash was also a problem

Nice playground abutting a major thoroughfare. Exceptionally well maintained. Lots of wood chips to cushion kids inevitable falls.Swings and other equipment are abundant and accommodate toddlers to older kids.And the water from the fountains is cold!

4 stars because its not covered for shade. But this playground set is awesome all fenced in and multiple sites to play in for all levels from toddler to middle school. Also a walking path, outdoor gym equiptment, and covered gazebos.

A very large, lush, green park with 2 playground areas, volleyball court, outdoor exercise equipment and walking trail, baseball field, soccer field, pavilions and a beautiful public pool. Plenty room to run and play. No pets allowed on the trails. No complaints, my daughters LOVE this park as so I.

This has to be one of the biggest parks Ive seen. Its easy to get to. If you like playing pickup basketball games this is the perfect spot. Always games going on. The volleyball area is always being used. To nets and the sand is deep enough so you dont have to worry about skinning yourself. Theres a waking trail with work out stations all around the trail. Yes have a place to play racketball.Theres 4 basaball fields and 4 tennis courts. And they have. To play areas for the kids. One for little kid and another for a little older kids. And if you like swimming theres a community pool in the same park. 3 pavilion and plenty of parking. 5 minutes from the beach and surrounded by plenty of food locations..

This Park has everything! Tennis, basketball, running track, voleyball, fitness area, Aquatic Center, Playgrounds, sports fields to the west, and the amphitheater is located right next to it. Has decent amount of parking and is safe location. Added bonus of watching the planes and the Goodyear Airship take off and land.

Great place to watch concert. Wasnt impressed with the seafood festival there at all. Parking was very disorganized and there were hardly any vendors. I did love that you could watch a concert and there was seating.
