Highly disappointed by the service. I booked the private lane for my girlfriends birthday but at the last moment some of the friends got covid and we decided to reschedule the event. The owner was being rude and instead of being accomodating or understanding of the situation, just cancelled the event and did not refund the money. We werent even looking for cancellation but the owner was agressive and coarse. I am taking my business somewhere else. Never ever going there again.

Wow talk about a good time. These guys are a leader is service. Staff is friendly helpful and attentive. Reserved a lane for a birthday and was extremely happy with the experience. Someone stays with you throughout your time to coach you and keep score. Food is available and the place was extremely clean. Dont let the area or outside fool or mislead you. Check it out.

Went to celebrate my birthday with the bois and it surpassed my expectations. Nicole at the front desk, and Lex (the referee) were more than helpful and nice. The experience was tons of fun, and we will definately be coming back!

Casual atmosphere. Great place for groups, whether small or large. If you like throwing darts, youll love throwing axes!As to the bar, there is a decent beer selection on tap, including local South FL breweries. There appears to be liquor available as well as non-alcoholic beverages for those not partaking. Food selection is bar bites like wings and flatbread pizzas.Overall a great experience and one I will be repeating soon, hopefully!

Worst service and the owner is really rude. We had booked an event for 6 people but two people came down with covid. When we called them to ask if they could postpone the event, they spoke rudely, cancelled the booking and didn’t even refund the amount. We were looking to postpone the event, not cancel it. Not going there ever again.

This was my first experience with ax throwing, and I loved it. Ax Throwing Society was the perfect spot; the employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this location if you want to give ax throwing a try; youll love it. Its fun, affordable, they have beer, and involves throwing axes; what more can I say, it was a perfect night of fun. Ill definitely be coming back.

I originally walked in to play. But couldnt because I had flip flops on. I did watch a couple of people play, it did look fun, I will hopefully be back to actually play.

Concept and staff are great. Took my work teammates out to celebrate all of our hard work and their successes. We asked for a different set of axes that were in good condition. Owner took over the situation and was one of the most rude people I have ever interacted with. The customer service team was appalled. They spun it into a positive to never treat customers even half as bad. Sad when staff has to cover for poor leadership and his staff did a good job too.

My boyfriend and myself went and had a BLAST!! Jeff the owner was such a nice man and has a fun business. The instructions were very friendly and funny. Definitely going back. Oh and super affordable for a fun night out. Coming back for a group event for sure!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun. Although I was such a sore loser but who cares.Id made a reservation for my boyfriend and I on a Monday night which just so happens to also be league night which they felt my boyfriend should join. *major eye roll* Luckily they were coming in as we were leaving.From the minute we walked in, everything was great. Our instructor gave us a few pointers and then we played a couple of games. The first game we played was first to 50. Each ring on the target had a specific value with the bullseye having the highest value naturally. After that we played a tic tac toe game where she out numbers on the board and we had to get those numbers when we threw the axe. Because we were going to eat afterwards, we did not eat there but they do have food, drinks and a small gaming section off to the left of the axe targets.I can not remember our instructors name for the life of me but she was so nice. I feel like her name was Dahlia but I dont think I am right. Either way she was great and made our experience more fun.I for sure will be back!

This was our first time trying Axe throwing and we love it. It was a rainy day and definitely a great activity for the rain. Due to the rain it was like we rented the place out because no one was there. Kyle was a great teacher and very fun. The establishment was very clean and fun. I definitely recommend trying this out your love it!

Went there on a Tuesday night with some friends. We had a great time. Coach Cal was great. They were very accommodating and flexible. I broke an axe by mistake and the owner or manager was really cool about it. Looks like a super nice group of people working there. Thank you all for a great time.

Had reservation for 6pm on Saturday night, got there early and they hooked us up right away. Great place, lots of fun! Staff there was amazing, from checking in, to bar help, and the coaches. Very clean and well kept. We will be back soon, we will be regulars.

Came over here with a big group of friends and had a blast. We had never been axe throwing before and the coaches were very helpful and fun... we picked up on it quickly and were scoring points right away. Took a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it, its a lot of fun. They showed us different kinds of axes and different throwing techniques.Great selection of beers on tap and the food was great, especially the wings and pretzel w/ beer cheese.Highly recommend this place, its huge and the staff is wonderful. 5 Stars!

Really fun place. Staff keeps axe games interesting by giving us objectives every few minutes. Wish the beer/food selection was a little better but overall a fun time.

Axe Throwing Society is the BEST axe throwing facility I have ever been too!! The lanes are spacious and the atmosphere is so fun! Our “axepert”, Chase, was SO thoughtful and patient. He was just as excited as we were to hit the bulls eye! The wings are phenomenal!! Loved the selection of beer as well!! It was such a nice feeling to pull into a parking lot with SO many spaces!! You will LOVE this place!! Go check it out today!!

Went to Axe Throwing Society with our college age kids. Its hard to find something that everyone wants to do, but this was the place. We all had a blast, the axeperts gave great instructions, and it wasnt as hard as you would think. Great selection of craft beer and food. We will be back with both friends and family. Thanks for a great night out!!!!

This is a rare place that I’ll do a review for, chandelier is one of the best severs/bartenders I’ve ever had the ability to give one person more stars than I could I would be him. Anyone that’s ever been here would understand me that this place is literally meant for family and friends and that’s what chandler is afterOne time meeting him. This entire restaurant is worthwhile and I can’t recommend this enough. Foods 5/5 and service is 8/5

I originally made reservation to come to Axe Throwing Society for my boyfriends birthday but due to the outcome of Hurricane Dorian and the road conditions caused by people frantically get food and gas, it was obviously not safe to drive from one side of the coast to the other, I also couldnt guarantee that I would be able to return home with the gas shortage. I called to inform the Bar that I needed a cancel my reservation and to request a refund. Now I know, on the receipt, it does says to give a 2 week notice. When I made my reservation, I made it within less than 2 weeks and didnt expect a Natural Disaster to interfere with my weekend plans. I originally requested a refund through email, due to them not opening until 5pm, but I never received a response but got an email about the $5 discount for Hurr. Dorian, so I called. After speaking to the person and being informed of their 2 weeks, etc. I did tell the owner that he should be accommodating to some extent, especially since the weather isnt something I could control...kind of like he cant control how the media portrays the hurricane causing people to become frantic ( which was his excuse for the road and gas situation and why I shouldnt get a refund).He did on the other hand tell me that he could credit my name and use it for another time within the next year. My problem is, Im a full time worker and a student and my boyfriend works 7 days week. We specially picked this week due to his birthday and the labor day holiday weekend, so I had time off and he was able to cover is shifts to celebrate one weekend. I can not confirm that I would make it out in a year for another visit and eventually, he did tell me he would refund my money. Which maybe he forgot or maybe he said it, to get me off the phone. Regardless, I was told to he would refund me. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt when I didnt get it thinking it could be because of all the business closed due to the hurricane but its been long enough. I put a report with my bank and I will see if they approve the dispute. If not, its what ever but honestly, the gentle man has a hard time letting go of $20. Even if I dont get it back, Im not going there.. ever. Which sucks because he has really wonder reviews as far as the games and service but if he cant be considerate of hard times and be some what understanding, than I dont want to support the business.Update after owners response: I recieved an email on refund confirmation. I requested this on 8/29/19 and it was finally initiated 9/4/19 after my above comment. So props for trying to turn the situation around, just hate that it had to come to this extent.

We had a great time! The Axeperts are very helpful. It wasn’t as difficult to throw as I thought it might be. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes.

Find a different Axe throwing business. Go to (FT. Lauderdale OR Delay). There are other businesses who respect their customers and do not attack them and yell at them on the phone.We made a reservation on the phone 2 days prior to our intended visit. Long story short, my child was in the ER and we had to cancel. My best friend cancelled the res for me and told me I would get a gift card for the $70 deposit. Ok... Great.. that worked because we were going to come back. Its been almost 2 weeks and I have patiently waited for what I ASSUMED was a gift card coming in the mail so I can make another reservation. I sent a 2 sentence email asking about the whereabouts with no response. So ,I followed up the email with a call asking about the gift card. Maybe someone forgot to send it? Who knows.Rather than explain to me that I just needed to call and reschedule the reservation, (which would also be fine if that is what I was told) the owner JEFF yelled at me. He told me it was a courtesy they were going to give me a credit. They were not obligated (which I agreed and said I was thankful) He was so nasty and said, we were not sending me anything. I asked him why he was so defensive and attacking me for a simple question. I explained what I was told via email. He wouldnt let me talk. I didnt care to be treated that way so I said forget about it and HE hung up the phone on me.I went through my email and found where they said we will send you a gift card. I sent that email to him and called him back. Most professional business would admit they were wrong and apologize to the patron for his behavior, attitude and for flat out being wrong.He got on the phone,was again rude and disrespectful. He told me he doesnt have time to deal with me and hung up again.I would never recommend this business simply because they dont deserve the business. I dont understand how Jeff expects to stay in business and treat his customers this way. I will take my business elsewhere.

Overly expensive, not fun.Paid like $22-24 for an hour and was allowed to throw an axe probably only 20-25 times. The way see it, it is like a $1 a throw. You see, you must be supervised by their employee (who must stand next to you like your mom) for you to throw an axe and if you have an overly talkative supervisor, you dont get to throw more often. Id rather spend my money else where. Even at a shooting range you can be unsupervised, what is up with axes?This business will not be seeing my money again. The price per throw comes out to be ridiculous.
