Great Park for walking, fishing, hiking, site seeing, relaxing, picnic, family gathering, and any type of get together. The water is clean and clear and theirs lots of fishing areas. Beautiful spot anytime of year. As a little girl Id come here during the summers with my family and go swimming and eat lunch. Lots of picnic benches to hang and eat at. We will be recommending it to others as we will be returning for more memories to make.

It was clean and well take care off, for the current situation there is not parking on site for non plymouth residents. You will have to drop off and go park to a lot outside the park.

Beautiful conservation area with great swimming, boating, fishing and walking trails. Youll need a Plymouth beach sticker to gain entry in peak season.

The two stars are for the current state of the park, which is sad. So, over 35 years ago my FIL brought us to Morton Park for a cook-out. Every summer weekends was spent there fishing, biking, swimming, cookouts, etc. and we brought our kids there too from babies to teens. We havent spent any time there since 2013 which I didnt enjoy. The area past the boat ramp is closed (one of the best areas to spend the day !). We still go to Plymouth frequently and we have driven through Morton Park multiple times but it is no longer the park I once knew. It is shocking to see how rundown it is. It is one thing to increase the entrance fee, but it doesnt appear that the money is going towards fixing up the park.No charcoal OR gas grills are just a small list of park rules and if I remember correctly, the park closes at five now.It is disappointing that my grandson wont be able to have the experience my kids had.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Its much more crowded than it was 25-30 years ago,but its still a beautiful area. One star off only because its tougher for residents to enjoy the main beach during the day.

Great Park, lots of parking, lots of hiking, fishing, swimming. May cost money to park there in the summer unless you get a parking pass from the town.

Why close a public park on Saturday and Sunday, while open Monday-Friday? It seems that the open hours are more for the convenience of park employees, than the convenience of TAXPAYERS. I would suggest keeping the park open Saturday/Sunday, and close two days between Monday/Friday.

The lake is gorgeous but they got too many rules , and to make it worst they only allow 100 vehicles per day and they are prohibited charcoal grills . I guess they do t want to make money anymore , the place was empty with plenty of parking spaces still available and they still didnt allow us in.

Great park. Unfortunately some people are not respectful of this wonderful public resource. They treat it like it is their own property, and ruin it for others. Ive seen fishermen cutting new fishing spots just to trash them.. too bad cutting the vegetation along the shore is actually bad for the fish they are seeking. It is also difficult to go on a walk without being harassed by an off leash dog or stepping in dog poop, even though there is a leash law in Plymouth. I have witnessed several dog fights/attacks here because of the many irresponsible dog owners. Some people just have no respect, or common sense..
