Weve been coming here on and off throughout the summer, its run well. They even handled a lockdown well due to a lost child, as a parent, that makes me feel so much more at ease. The pools are great, but the beach could be cleaner (a lot of dead leaves in the water, making it nasty). Plenty of options when it comes to variety of vendors. Not great if youre looking for peace and quiet in nature, but if you are looking for family fun, its right here. Just a short drive from valparaiso, and they have a great family entertainment center ( arcade, lazer tag, feeding alagators, mini golf, batting cages, and a nice restaurant. We spent 1 day taking a short drive to visit Notre Dame, and the lake michigan dunes and beach.

There is lots to do but be careful of the golf carts. They go way to fast and have disregaurd for walkers. The kids that are driving those carts are in their early teens and do not pay attention. The golf carts play rap music way too loud at all hours of the day and night with words that my kids shouldnt have to hear.

Great camping and amenities. Clean facilities. Kids loved the giant jumping pillow.

Guess we should have read more reviews and studdied the pictures. This is NOT you regular jellystone. 90% of the place is permanent residents. Its not like a trailer park but more a lake vacation yacht club trailer park. They have tons to do and it is clean, but its a little weird. We stayed for a week while I was working in the area and the residents were all friendly, there are some run down sites but for the most part yards were well kept and most people had tons of money in improving their sites.But here is the rub. as an outsider there are not enough bath houses, Because all the sites are built up like homes with fences and landscaping and porches and sheds...I cant let my little ones walk to the bath house by themselves, its 5 blocks away and there is 0 chance of seeing them like in a normal campground. Because it is huge there is far to much golf cart traffic, yes they cruise with their music blaring at all hours of the night. Its like a beach party 100% of the time. If their refund policy didnt suck my wife asked to leave the 2nd day and find something else. Also they only give 1 hour of wifi a day or you have to pay. This is awesome with 4 kids and their devices. We travel alot and go to lots of jellystones. While this one is unique we wont be back.

Camping! Great fun for people of all ages. A lot of people at this location are lot owners and not just weekend visitors. The camp grounds themselves are great the staff works really hard to keep things as clean as possible. They do offer a wide range of activities for young kids, teens and adults! The one problem I had was the number of Confederate and Gadsden flags that were on display at camp sites as well as golf carts that are used to get around the grounds. I do understand that people are welcome to fly any flag of their choice, personally it made me feel uneasy, I was able to easily approach security and was assured safety and around the clock patrolling.

Always good to be home. Have had a lot here for 14 yrs now. Always a great summer...

I have been going to this campground since I was 5. It is such an amazing place to come to and have a blast. All of these other reviews are saying that it’s a bad place and no one should come here but their wrong. It’s such a fun place cause you can do so many things. You can play at the parks, go swimming, go to all of the activities and they have this big pillow thing you can jump on. Yeah at night people do drive around and blast music but that is just the funnest. And it’s not all night that they do that. All of these other reviews are saying that they are doing it all night and they can’t sleep. I think that those people need to get their facts straight. This is a place where you can just have fun and you don’t really have to worry about anything. Also people are saying that the trailers are small. Like yeah it’s a trailer of course it’s gonna be small. I think that some of these people that wrote reviews are just some stuck up rich people. And they actually need to learn that not everything is so nice and neat. I would really recommend to come to this place. You will have a blast.

Everybody is wonderful. Its like one big family. Food trucks are great.

It’s not high enough. The whole campground is like it’s own city of wonderland. Amazing place. I would live there all year long if I could. Everyone there is nice. Everyone who works there is nice and polite. So many activitys to do. Never bored. And if your a teenager or an adult it’s amazing because it’s a place for everyone. They let me bring my Minibike. Amazing. They let me bring my golf cart. Amazing. They have pools and Jump Pillows, activity’s, partys, everything. Best place I’ve ever been too.

Had alot of fun..I did the poker run..loved it..didnt win..but enjoyed tossing candy out to the kids..and seeing them so excited made my day...

Not a typical Jellystone. Too many golf carts, and too many privately owned camp sites. Yogi and Boo Boo were the only characters and only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Yogi Bear is my happy place lol. There is something to do for everyone. There are 2 pools with kiddy pools one pool is heated and one isnt. There are people on golf carts everywhere all in great moods and tons of activities to do (dances, Bingo, limbo, Elvis Presley impersonators ) you have to be 14 years old to drive a golf cart, everyone is friendly and having a great time OH and you can drink by the pool!! Tons of places to walk and explore, lots of pretty lights and trees oh and they have a ranger station where you can get cheap candy, chips, drinks, bug spray or other camp stuff you may need. They also have arcades and Pavilions and places you can take pictures with your kids. Its a great time- you wont be disappointed!

Very well ran. Nice family get away. Young children should not be allowed to drive golf carts without an adult. Just about got hit when to young girls turned corner at excessive speed.

My family loves this place. Friendly people, smiles from everyone.

When water goes out no-one lets anyone know. Keeps losing power . people are treated like second class citizens. Guests are treated better than the people are lot owners.Dues they pay is more than what they receive.

Stayed two night here while traveling to Michigan. The campground is mostly seasonal with a few daily spots. The facilities are well maintained. Two pools with life guards and the usual assortment of Jellystone ammenties. We enjoyed the nightly golf cart parade and in park poker run. Great community of seasonal campers here that made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed staying here.

This is a great family space with LOTS of activities for the kids! Two pools, restaurant, ice cream shop, and a camp store on grounds. Lots of cool themed weekends too. The people overall are kind, however it is a very conservative/republican area so you will see lots of confederate flags:/ a little off putting

I did not go to jelly stone. I visited antique store across the HWY ON 3O .. And found my pillows for master bedroom. Nice place and variety of items.

The pools were great. It was a little chilly, but really enjoyed them.

Very friendly and mostly quiet. Family oriented, just not a lot of bath houses or dumpsters. Family rented a cabin and had a closet with toilet, and sink, no kitchen or full bathroom. Great place overall though. Just super slow speeds, takes forever getting through park.

Great campground! Go there for fun and relaxation. It is a great place for kids. It has activities and a shop. There are 2 pools and 1 beach/lake. You can go fishing any time. There are 2 playgrounds, the playgrounds are fun and will intertain kids from ages 3-12. You may also spot teens hanging around and having a good time. Riding a golf cart is usual and welcomed. I highly recommend coming to this camp ground.

Very run down and the noise. We had to call the Rangers more than once do to people acting foolishly at 11 and12 at night. The permanent tenants here have extremely run down spots trailers falling apart and unkempt lawns. Lastly the golf carts are like children cruising Woodward Ave on a Friday night. No one was doing the speed limit and no one stopped for the stop signs on the golf carts.As for the good the kids loved the pool and playing in the sand boxes.

Came here to fish in the pond to earn a Cub Scout Badge. Everyone was nice, and the place was clean and peaceful, probably because it was the end of the season.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Goshen. Came back by on our way home and stayed 1 night. Sites are a little unlevel. Roads and part of the sites are rocks. Staff friendly and helpful. We did not use restrooms or laundry. All in all it is a good, safe park. We would stay here again.

Very clean and nice people to get along with

This place has so much potential to be a great place but with the ruin down campers and lots it missed the mark. The pools are nice and the kids loved the jump pad. There are golf carts everywhere playing loud inappropriate music. It was hard to hold a conversation around the campfire. No one does the speed limit it made me nervous to let the kids ride their bikes. I felt that a place with a kids theme would be more kid friendly. The theme was Christmas in July the weekend we went and it really lacked interest for our kids. Ages ranging 6 to 9.

Been going here for almost 20 years always a blast

This Labor Day 2018 will be a year my fiancé and I went down to visit with friends who had property at Jellystone. We loved it so much we bought are own lot and park model. A week later. We have great neighbors and it seems we can’t get there fast enough when we have time from our busy work schedules. There is something for everyone. My family has visited, including my grandchildren and they loved it. Last year I said it was a great place and I still feel that way.

Do not reserve here. Any change or cancel is $25.00. Even 60 days out. Worst park there is.

A great place to take the family. With everything from swimming to basketball to concerts and even church! Great to meet so many new people and start new memories with the kids!

This camp ground is the best Ive been to. I have been there 4 weekend this yr. Adult-friendly. Lots to do .the people there are very polite. . Lot of activitys for the kids .play grounds fishing two pools. Putt-Putt gulf. Bingo fot the adults as well . Theres so much to do . You cant walk this camp grounds, it way to big . You can rent a gulf cart if you dont have one. Little hi priced on holiday weekends. .they go quick so call .a few week in advanced to reserve one. You must CK it out. the staff is great .and helpful .

It is so peaceful

Great activities and really great showers. Downside is that certain sites flood if there is rain. The staff is kind and besides the flooding it was a great experience.

Really nice campground, very large, weekend activities for families. Mid week it was pretty quiet. Just one guy with a golf cart had a loud stereo system and thought everyone should have to listen to his music. Only happened once a day, thank goodness! Pretty lake/pond you can fish in. Bass are catch and release, you can keep the cat fish.

Great place for kids to have fun. Also its so so big with all the great camping areas. Im thinking about camping there for now on with my family.

Good times for sure

Visited for their wet and wild weekend. This is my 3rd year going and it is always a ton of fun. The first night it rained and we ended up flooded under 4 of water. They switched us to another dryer site and the fun pursued. If camping here when theres a potential for rain, maybe request a site that doesnt flood. Otherwise fun!

Nope. Crowed and unpleasant. Visited a friend staying there, they made me pay $5! I have never liked this place even as a kid, I just have memories or hot, dust, and crowds.

I have been going to this place my whole life, and I have never had a problem. Everyone is polite, but there has been reports of theft. It has caused a problem, but my overall experience was great!

Its a nice family friendly environment..Swimming, mini golf and different activities every weekend. There is an indoor little game room with AC. What I didnt like was if your visiting its $5 per adult. If u leave as a visitor you have to pay to get back in. If you decide to stay that money does not go towards your camping fee. $50 a night for 1 RV or camper or tent and $20 extra if u put something else up(like an extra tent). Some things in the general store are expensive and some are reasonable. I paid $4 for an extension cord $2 for some band aids...

Seemed like a ok place but the lots were too small trailers just cramed in and way to many people and golf carts for me. Im looking for a quieter place to put my camper

I love the park, its very clean, the people are friendly, and there are many different activities to choose from.

We had a great camp site, close to the restroom and the playground. Family friendly, with lots of activities and themed weekends. Definitely considering buying a lot to come regularly. Easy to get to, right off of 30.

The boss loved it... our son Took 2 of his friends and swam and played ALLLLL day!

Its a nice Park when its open season. Any problems call the Rangers and they take care of it. I own my lot. I get a lot of disrespectful renters next to me. Usually from Illinois.

My kids have a lot of fun, they have some interesting entertains for kids.

Camping fun and the party goes on. Will always go there.

My kids love it there. But they ride around handing out tickets (and i seen the guy flying through stop signs to give out tickets) Ive never got one. Its not a relaxed place to go like it used to be.

Dont go here if you are expecting an RV park experience. It is a long term/vacation home community. Most of the trailers are old and in poor condition. There are only a handful of RV sites. There are many golf carts that zoom down streets quickly and constantly blaring loud music. Midnight is the beginning of quiet hours on Fridays and Saturdays but the noise continues until 1-2. The most positive I can say is the front gate/registration area looks very nice. I would definitely never stay here again.

Worst park ever. About 3/4 of park is owned by individuals. The weekends are a big party with loud noise and music until 2:00 am. They have rules and so called security but not enforced. No cell service so not possible to call their security number. Your better off in Walmart. DRIVE BY THIS PLACE AND KEEP GOING YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF AND HAPPIER. Forgot to mention the water stopped flowing but hopefully at some point they will fix it.

Outstanding place to relax

First time here had fun except the people behind us partying all night and the pools lifeguards werent paying attention. First the camper behind us and they had some truck come pulling up at midnight blaring their music and pounding on their windows screaming about the camper owners having sex, mind you I have two kids and other people have kids right around them, was told the idiots who own the camper are friends with the owner so they get away with whatever they want, then took my baby to the pool for the first time to swim and these kids were cussing, 10 year olds cussing around my 5 year old and my infant, so I told the lifeguard and nothing was done so they were by me and said a cuss word so I told them they need to watch their mouths and knock it off and they did but then the lifeguard left and this little boy was at the 1ft section and these boys were kicking water in his face to the point where he left and was crying. I reported them to the security and they referred to them as the Mexicans and said they are always causing problems

Love everything except the lake its dirty

I will give Jellystone a 3 star rating because of all the amenities that it has to offer and the planned activities. My 14 year old son and his friend enjoyed their time there. But I was very disappointed in the lack of courtesy of the until 3:00 am golf cart joy riding people there. I do not know why the owners, workers and security people allow this to happen. Whatever happend to the quite hours rule? We did not get much sleep at all the entire weekend. Golf carts were speeding by our campsite all through the night with hollering riders and loud music. Why are people so inconsiderate of others?

I have been camping at Jellystone for over 30 years. When possible we spend the entire season here. I have watched my children play and grow up here every year.Now I am happy to know that I can experience the same good times with my grandchildren and grate grandchildren. I would truly be lost without having Jellystone to camp at.

We have been seasonal 3 years now and love it! Our kids have so much fun with all the activities and amenities they offer!

Great for families and friends. been a member for 15 years. its a slice of heaven, with good people and good times. perfect party atmosphere only 90 miles away from chicago.

Disruptive guests at all hours of the day and night. Staff did nothing to remedy any of the problems.

We love this place. Swimming and the park are great. Only thing we dislike about this place, is how high prices aka how expensive everything is here.♡♡
