I recently got married on 10-9-20 at Swan Lake Resort and I was blown away by my experience with them!I mainly worked with Bob Stout who is the event coordinator there and he was beyond helpful every step of the way. Whatever questions I had at whatever time of the day, he was always so quick to respond, which as a bride is greatly appreciated!!On the event day, I worked with Krystal and Bob who did an amazing job of coordinating the wedding despite normal wedding mishaps! Whatever I asked for, they were quick to make it happen.Swan Lake also has a BEAUTIFUL outdoor gazebo area for the ceremony which is the main reason why my husband and I picked it! For the reception, Bob took my vision and set it up exactly how I envisioned!I just wanted to take the time to let all future brides know that this is an amazing and beautiful venue to get married at if you are looking for a scenic getaway weekend

Nice hotel and confrence center. Beds are very firm only 1 elevator. Bad reception and wifi for cell phones. Very hard water.

The golf here is great! Two great courses with varied difficulty - silver more intermediate and the black a bit harder. The accommodations are roomy and clean. The indoor and outdoor pools are great with modern workout room, hot tubs, and sauna. The staff was friendly and food of good quality at Dickies and in the clubhouse. Better than expected beer selecting including both the drafts and the bottles. My only complaint is the unreasonably slow service and food at Dickies at supper. Id come back here again. They offer a great variety of accommodations from hotel room to condo to cabin.

I attended a wedding reception there and did not golf but the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and a very nice continental breakfast. A nice bar which also serves food! Will definitely stay there in the future.

I think it was a good place to stay for a few nights, but I got bit by bugs when I was sleeping. I would recommend wearing socks in the room because the floor is dirty. The pool was nice and so was the lobby. They had good food, but some of it was things kids won’t eat. Over all, this place is fine, and I would recommend to go there for about 1-3 nights.

It was a nice quiet time and the people were nice. Its a country time in Indiana!!

We go here ever year around Christmas time and love the good vibes of the staff and cleanliness at the shower rooms, pool, and hot tub. Only bad things, the continental breakfast is a bit rough, and the Dickys restaurant is usually really good, but this time want so good. And check the beds for spiders, igot bi tnumerous times, but out was probably cause out was off season....Overall we would probably go back.

Ive stayed at the resort and the rooms are clean and well-stocked. Ive eaten at the banquet hall for Easter brunch and the food is always delicious! Such a great selection.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, rooms were very clean. This was a get away for my husband and I. We dined outside, which was fun. Food and service was great. We dont golf, so otherwise not much to do. Would have been nice to have a game room, pool table or some other activity. The outdoor pool looked inviting but a large group of loud men were partying around a picnic table close to the pool, so we didnt care to be close to the commotion. Breakfast was good. Overall it was relaxing on a week day. Not a lot of people.

The Swan Lake Resort was beautiful. The grounds were very well manicured and the landscaping was so pretty. Very quiet and relaxing. The indoor and outdoor pools were very clean, and we enjoyed the hot tubs and saunas. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our room reservations were perfect, and the rooms were ready when we arrived. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Swan Lake Resort the next time were in the area.

We were in the area for our daughters lacrosse game and lucked upon this super resort! Not knowing anything about it, we booked. Was super clean and beautiful! Had read some reviews with many people not happy with breakfast but I thought it was good! Scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns did not disappoint. Would definitely come back!

The only reason Im knocking off a star is cause there us nowhere to change a kids diaper. With them doing parties for companys you would think there would be a changing table. Other than that its quite nice.

I took a long walk after our delicious (included) breakfast and admired the gorgeous blooms all around. We didnt visit the indoor pool as it was a perfect day for the outdoor pool. The room has a refrigerator and a k-cup coffee pot with pods included. It is located on a golf course.

Nice pools and hot tub, as well as gym, however we had an employee yell at the kids because they were speed walking! While another parents children were throwing chairs into the pool.

Good hotel, especially for the area. Clean rooms, decent restaurant, and an attached golf course. Havent played it but it looks nice during the summer.

This property is a unique and special gem!The grounds are breathtaking, the staff is outstanding and it is truly a resort. We were there on a visit to Culver Academy which is only 20 minutes away. We wish we had had time to use the indoor pool and exercise room while we were there because they looked very inviting and there were 2 weddings there during our stay outside under a beautiful gazebo.

Good accommodations. Really helpful that I can just go and pay to use the spa portion.

Booked this for our minimoon (mini honeymoon). We’re not made of money. Rolled up and the electricity was completely out: for four hours. The staff was not at all accommodating and offered an insignificant discount on our stay when we checked out. Almost all of them were rude and/or poorly trained. Asked for a special touch when making the reservation because it was in celebration of our wedding. We weren’t expecting red carpet to be rolled out or anything, but we also weren’t expecting nothing at all. I was told at the front desk very rudely when we checked out, “We don’t usually do that. We never do that.” All we asked for was just a little something to welcome us or a congratulations to be left on the bed. I mean it’s our wedding night and that’s not difficult or expensive. I communicated that as best I could to an employee who should honestly be fired immediately. Horrible customer service. Breakfast isn’t any better than what you’d get at a standard motel, in fact, it’s slightly worse. Outdoor pool had toilet paper in it. Toilet paper. No fan in the room bathrooms. Paper-thin walls so you could hear everything and everyone at any given time of day or night. None of the jets in one of the hot tubs worked at all and the light in the men’s sauna was out. This place is an overpriced ripoff, especially for a “resort” that isn’t all inclusive. Finally, the inside of the hotel looks like a nursing home. I’m not even kidding. This place really should just be a golf course, and that’s it. It’s literally the only thing they do well...and obviously the only thing they care about. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Swan Lake Resort is a wonderful gem tucked away off the beaten path that provides a great getaway. Upon arriving the front desk staff were warm and friendly which made me feel at home! My room was immaculate and the beds were comfortable so I was able to get a great night’s sleep! I highly recommend Swan Lake Resort.

I went there for business but saw a lot of families taking advantage of their swimming facilities. The staff was super nice.

It was a very good experience. We were staying close to South Bend for the Garth Brooks Notre Dame concert and we got our tickets late so all the hotels were booked. This one popped up on one of the hotel sites I use and I jumped on it because the price was so good and the pictures were awesome. It is a quiet location with several nice amenities even better if you are a golfer. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. The facility has some age on it but still clean and comfortable with a charming atmosphere. I would stay there again and our friends who were with us are already trying to plan a return visit.

The staff is very friendly. The night we went the weather was bad and roads were covered on snow. They had to use the lunch menu for dinner because they were short staffed. On the plus side. The soup was fantastic. The sandwiches were a good portion size. We needed boxes to take the rest home. Food was hot. Its a relaxing place to have dinner.

Swan lake was a great venue for my little sister’s wedding, but that’s not why I’m giving them 5 stars. There is a woman named Karen who I believe is cleaning staff. She was absolutely phenomenal and professional in dealing with some mishaps in the night, and is probably the reason we would recommend this place to others in the future. I believe she should have a raise.

For the amount of money that we paid, I would have thought the room and food would be better. I would have been better off going to a Holiday Inn for less money and the same quality of service.

Overall, a really nice place. Our room was super clean, and larger than your typical room with two queen beds. Breakfast was as expected. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.

Rooms are cozy. Employees are nice. Breakfast is okay and limited options. Needs to be more vegetarian-friendly awareness. For this quality of hotel, I would have expected better options for breakfast.

We hadnt been to the Swan Lake Resort in 10 years, so it was a very pleasant surprise to see all the upgrades they have made. The two18-hole golf courses were as nice as we remembered, but the hotel - now that is different for sure. Our standard room was clean and comfy - probably could use an update on the furnishings and décor, but no biggie. The complimentary breakfast was a welcome surprise - hot items like scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, bacon, and ham are interchanged daily, always accompanied by the standard faire of cold cereals, breakfast breads and danish, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. The restaurant itself looks totally updated. One area has a huge horseshoe shaped bar with the trendy bar top that changes colors, TV screens, floor to ceiling windows and doors all around that lead out to a huge deck overlooking the lush grounds. The other side of the restaurant is a little cozier, with quite tables and a fireplace. The food was excellent and moderately priced for a resort. The outdoor pool and deck was super clean and surrounded by lush floral stone boxes. No towel or drink service at the pool, but we just carried in our own. The indoor pool/spa area looked nice, but the weather was too nice to stay indoors. The service was superior from Ashley at the front desk, to Julie at the bar, to Carly our server, to all the others who made us feel welcome.

Had Easter dinner there today,,,HORRIBLE MEAL!!!! 13 people in our group, not a one of us liked it. 3rd year in a row that weve been there for Easter dinner, its never been that great, but this year was the worst!! There definitely will not be a 4th year. Definitely not worth the 30. + dollars per person. Go to Mcdonalds!!!!

Stayed at Swan Lake over the weekend to attend a concert at Notre Dame. It was quiet and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If needed I would stay again.

Its a great place, with an absolutely beautiful golf course. The rooms are small and cozy, but the bathroom/showers are slightly small. The pool and hot tub are really nice, but very hot. Very hot. There is breakfast in the morning, and while it is unoriginal, it still tastes very good. The location itself is nice, while the golf course is very visually appealing and fun to play on. Overall, great place at a very competitive price. Go here if you need somewhere to stay for a night or two!

The golf course is always immaculate. The instructors are great. We had a driver fitting, lunch, and then played 18 holes. We had a great day. Thanks Swan Lake.

I attend business meetings here frequently. The staff and grounds are always top notch. All meals are of great quality as well.

The entire place was beautiful, and very clean. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the water was very rusty. It tasted like iron, and it was reddish yellow in the tub. I just bought a bottle of water to drink, and it was fine.

Attended the Additive Manufacturing Summit. Well kept location with a lovely conference room. The provided food was not fancy (salad and sandwich) but was delicious. Did not see much beyond the conference area.

My experience may not be representative of Swan Lake as a whole, as I there for a work conference. Limited interaction with staff, but in my experience they were pleasant and helpful. The facilities are spacious and clean. The lunch buffet left a lot to be desired. Overall, it was fine.. But I admittedly did not get see most of what the resort has to offer.

The resort was beautiful comfortable loved the hot tub sauna and restaurant. The only thing that was uncomfortable was . I was able to here the people in the next room . Quite clearly . Very uncomfortable didn’t sleep much.

The rooms are cozy and the staff are very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is average, but poor for vegetarians such as our family. The grounds and golf course are beautiful and well managed.

The rooms are older but not bad in a nice lodge style building. It is a bit pricey but it is right on the golf course. There are two restaurants on property but they are quite expensive for the type of food and the area.

Overall the visit was very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant could be a little quicker with their service, took a long time for dinner, but the food is always good. I enjoy the gym but the equipment could use some updating. I like the pool and sauna too..

Great conference facility and really helpful staff that are willing to do whatever it takes to make your event go smooth. The wait staff are also incredible and so polite. Food is good and coffee is tasty. The grounds are very well kept too.

Attended Mothers Day buffet. It was nice and well planned. I wish they had served prime rib for the price it cost.

Great service. Immediately seated. Loved the food choice. Food did take a bit to come but it was much worth the wait. One guest ordered a burger and the shef wasnt happy with the first Patty so he made another to perfection. Though it took longer, it showed how the resort cares about its customers.

Two well maintained, challenging golf courses are the centerpiece of the resort. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The resort also features a very good restaurant, a hotel and a conference center which provided a wonderful venue for my daughters wedding and reception.

I got married at Swan Lake Resort, and it was absolutely AMAZING. I go to college out of state, and everyone was more than willing to squeeze everything into holiday breaks to make it all work. So we didnt have to miss out on anything with pre-wedding norms. Everybody was extremely nice and helpful. Overall it was an already amazing today made even better thanks to Swan Lake. I would definitely look into trying to get Swan Lake to work for you!

Swan Lake Resort is located in Plymouth, Indiana and is a very comfortable place to visit. Many friends and family have used the facility for receptions and other gatherings. I would reccomend it to others to visit.

Wasnt there overnight, just for a conference during the day. So I cant say much other than the food was pretty good and conference rooms were nice. Seemed like pretty good service too.

We had dinner at their restaurant Dickies and its already really good food with awesome staff that are very attentive. I think the food is pricy but thats only because its the only food within Swanlake.

The location is a short drive from US30. It is a will maintained resort, and the rooms are clean. The conference center, restaurant and bar are all accessable from the hotel without going into the elements. Only downside is, during receptions, local police are hired to walk through the resort due to occasional rowdy guests.

People working there are wonderful. Complaint: Pillows were the only flaw.

This is the second time we have been to swan lake and each visit has been outstanding! For all you idiots who said the stay was terrible it was probably how you handled things. The front desk has always been very respectful and helpful. The one time we ate at the restaurant the food was amazing! Seriously considering getting married here.

The hotel was very nice. We were visiting for a wedding. The service was great and the employees were helpful. Just an all around beautiful place.

The hotel seemed like it was really nice once... But the mattresses were hard, the pillows were flat, and the free continental breakfast was bleh- only bagels, two generic cereals, and a single hot pan full of hash browns/boxed scrambled eggs/greasy sausage....... Not much for $200/night. That being said, we were there to attend a wedding, and the event was INCREDIBLE!! the hors doeuvres were spot on, the bartender was great, and the main meals fantastic. Everything was gorgeous.
