First time here! Launched at Fitzwater, kayaked down the canal and jumped into the river. So many turtles on a leisurely trip!

Beautiful scenery and peaceful, plenty of wildlife to enjoy at a distance, especially the geese. LOL. Perfect for walking, running, and biking. A must-visit.

Tiny little park, swings and an old school jungle gym. But its great for a quick stop to stretch your legs or eat a bite at the picnic table before heading to the river walk. The park is very clean, Ive never seen a speck of litter.

Best place for a quiet picnic

Kayaking, bicycling, strolling excellent venue for all three.
