Fun 3D ride that is great for both kids and adults. Well organized line with plenty of shade and misters until you can get inside.

Another Universal simulator, decent ride but experience was ruined by reminders to stay seated or keep masks on.

Waited almost 2 hours and once we were sitting down ready for the ride, they said it was not working. Gave us an express pass for the day for the inconveniences, which doesnt really make up for the time waisted, in line, in the heat. Sad, I was really looking forward to this attraction.

Very fun ride, but ever since they removed the 3D aspect it has not been as absolutely immersive. It’s still a good time, with a great line queue and rock-solid simulation effects. It’s just a shame about the 3D because that’s a huge chunk of what made the ride experience so entertaining.

It’s funny but the “ride” part/experience is definitely overrated (we did ALL rides at Universal).

Really a fun cute ride thats great for the whole family. One part kinda made me tear up because of the strong bond Gru has with the girls. So close to the park entrance it just begs to be ridden.

At Parks silliest attraction, you will get a chance to do just that, as you join Gru and the girls in this family-friendly 3D simulator ride featuring an all-new storyline, new animation.The wait time here is typically long. when I entered, I walked to Diagon alley to avoid the rush, now knowing minions ride line can be long too. we came here in the afternoon and it was still 60 minutes wait time, so finally, we came at 4 PM and it was a 20 minutes ride. I guess it is the most popular attraction in the park due to kids and adults (like me). and after the ride, I am sure why.I loved the detail of the cattle pen room they cram you into while you wait.this is the same room which they show in the movies. In the first waiting room, they play a short movie about the minions to set the pretext for the ride; funny like always. Then the second waiting room, very cute. Its basically decorated as Grus living room resembling the movie. this is one big hall with seats like a movie theatre. you ll be provided with 3d glasses. The little animation introduction was very cute and got everyone giggling before entering the simulator. The ride itself is 3-d and very cute. you ll feel you are among minions and part of the mayhem they created.as said, I am a big minion fan and it was a baby smile on my face at end of the ride.Rating - 8/10

Fun little ride great for the kids and the best part is the rollercoaster is virtual. It has a few quick movements and no huge drop. There Is one seat up front reserved for people who get motion sickness that does not move so you are just watching the minion training video.

This is a cute movie experience. As this is a 3D simulator I personally feel ill after riding this ride and find if I don’t wear the glasses I am not sickened. It is cute for the little ones.

I loved the ride overall, Im a huge fan of minions and Despicable Me movies. Atmosphere is great, humor is there, but I really wish the second row of the viewers would sit raised above the front row of the car, so that peoples heads dont get in the way. It really ruins the experience and immersion...

Horrible since they took out the 3D definitely not worth the wait anymore just didn’t bring you into the minion world without the 3D really hate they too the 3D out. Just felt like I was watching a movie and being moved around it didn’t make me feel like I was in Minion’s world like riding with the 3D.

This is a 4d ride. So. it is a motion simulation ride. I liked it. The picture of lion is of it eating a dog, eating a cat, eating a mouse, eating a piece of cheese. The ride is fun and the line moves at a fast pace witg Dru and his children keeping you company

It’s a fun ride A bit bumpy so if you don’t like shaking this isn’t the ride for you it was a fun ride my sister and I like minions so we enjoyed this ride it had a long wait and this changes the rating but overall it was a fun ride

Great minion entertainment. If youve enjoyed the movies youll enjoy this. This is a 3d experience with movement. You are strapped into a car that moves up and down in front of an IMAX type 3d screen. Good for all ages. The line can be long so get there early.

Sadly lacking since the 3D film was changed to 2D.No longer the immersive experience it was.A retrograde step in my opinion.

Good place if you love minions

This ride is awesome, but be aware of the long wait time while planning your itinerary. Even with the Universal Unlimited Express Pass, my party waited for 40 minutes to get on the ride. For context, we barely waited more than 20 minutes for any other ride at Universal Studios Florida (other than Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts).

We had express pass and still waited for almost an hr. It was still worth the wait. This is one of the decent rides in the park. I saw people waiting for more than 2 hrs which is crazy. Waiting area is dull and other than looking at you phone or chatting with friends there is nothing else you can do. They should put something in the waiting area so people can enjoy the wait vs looking miserable.

Everybody’s experience could be different and this was mineThis is a 3D game where they are trying to throw a party to Gru. You go thru a 3d ride on the screen where everything moves and it makes it seem as if you are part of the video screening. I think Universal is more screenings than actual rides themselves, but again Universal Studios is about movies and filing

Cool ride. Its a 3d virtual ride. Its pretty cool for the whole family. Babies are allowed but need to sit on stationary seats.

An amazing experience! The 4d effects are completely immersive and it seems as though they update the rides often. The wait time here is typically long... But I wouldnt recommend a speed pass unless you really need to get both parks done in a day.

The ride said 50 min wait... it broke 7 times while waiting in line. Didnt make it to the actual ride before they shut it for the day. Pathetic!!! Wasted a full day in one stupid line.Update 4/20/2019: I got to rude it waiting 30 mins... i would say it was worth it at 30 minutes. It is a 3D roller coaster type simulator. If you played the minion racing game on driod or an apple you are part of that game!

Probably my favorite ride in both parks. The perfect mix of Virtual Reality, humor and entertainment. There are static seats for anyone that is overly motion sick. A fantastic ride from start to finish. We went on this several times, and its close to the entrance, so an easy one to hit on the way in and out.

My 7-year old daughter pretty much refused to ride anything but the Minions....so I got to experience it close to a dozen times

Ride is great. The problem the staff. The staff say bad words and let all the express go and when there is none left in express, they let the regular line go. I hate It here at this ride. It is the most busiest but the ride itself is good. The employees mess up your day. I waited here for 2 hours 30 minutes cause staff couldnt let me in the ride. If universal reads this, you need to train your employees like Disney no like garbage workers. And I know universal doesnt care cause I had a bad experience with them already.

3D virtual ride, which is pretty fun and you get to dance with real life minions at the end, well worth a go for all the family.

I think this is a better ride for kids, although at 22 years old my Husband and I enjoyed it too! We didnt have to wait for too long, maybe 40 minutes but I wouldnt have waited for longer than an hour for this ride. It just wouldnt have been worth it. It was quite a funny ride with there being minions and all.

Disclaimer: Have not viewed a Despicable Me or Minion film. After months of trying to get on this ride (the line is usually 90 to 120 minutes long), I finally got on via a Fastpass. I was pleasantly surprised as to how much fun and how well done the motion ride was... and not just for children. If you can stomach the wait, its a fun ride worthy of your time.

A very well done 4-D show based on the ultra popular Despicable Me series. Sadly rarely worth the wait without Universal Express, however if you can live without your seat moving look for the stationary passenger line. This line will save you on average between 50 to 95% of your wait.

It’s a cool little ride. The queue and pre show are really well themed. The actual ride itself is definitely not as good as some other Universal. Anyone with motion sickness should avoid this.
