A mere shell of its former self because of virus restrictions, Sort of like going through the motions. Priests are excellent!!! Doing the best they can. Cant wait till a return to normalcy.

This church is beautiful

I went to the office to get a Mass card. Not one person in the office had a mask on. Recently a priest we know died of Covid. He got it from office workers who did not wear a mask.

Unscrupulous merchants Negotiate a good price and say that they will help you get things done. When its time to close the job, you will open the sky and blame me for being careless in trusting the company. And no contract was signed at the end. The negotiated price of 4,000 US dollars became 40,000 US dollars. The drawing in this area needs such a price. We are just a small shop that can survive on our own. Such scams directly kill civilians. The parishioners are wonderful people always making you feel welcome! I visit the church yearly when I visit my parents for the Thanksgiving holiday. The priest is also very nice and welcoming to visitors

Beautiful serene and peaceful. We felt very welcome in the church. Large parish but felt comfortable. Very active and involved parish with many groups and organizations. Please stop by for Mass or a quick prayer.

Great church. Father Ray is great! The church is beautiful and not all fancy just nice and peaceful. The girls in the store and office are really nice especially Vickie. The garden is nice to sit and think and talk with God.

Beautiful and welcoming church. Theres a small gift shop for religious items and a good size childrens room to sit and hear mass if your babies are still small and you prefer it.

Daily mass at 8 & 9 am M-F. Perfect for vacation! Multiple Weekend masses, including Saturday vigil & Sunday masses, sure to fit in to your schedule, & conveniently located in N. Myrtle Beach - so, no excuses, vacationers! The church itself is modern, very large & spacious, with very pretty, albeit almost cartoonish looking, stained glass windows portraying the stories of the Bible, which may not suit all tastes, but are lovely nonetheless. There is a gorgeous garden located between the church & the school that you will definitely want to visit. The parish priests are excellent & the community is vibrant! Homilies are poignant, inspired, well prepared, & easily heard, thanks to a good sound system.Not sure of the seating capacity, but Sunday masses are usually packed, so arrive early if you want to find a seat. This church makes me proud to be Catholic!

I love OLSS, have been attending Mass there for about 2 yrs now when I m in North Carolina . Priests are an inspiration. I love their book store!

I am no longer of the Catholic Faith but came here for Grief Share meetings. I was immediately welcomed by group leaders & others who volunteered their time! What a Wonderful Experience this was! Such a Welcoming Warm Group of people. If I wasn’t so happy with my own church, this would make a Great Choice!

This is a very beautiful parish. Parking was easy to get but I parked further from the sanctuary than I expected so I had to walk around a little bit to find the entrance. For a beach town church, everyone was dressed very nicely.

My wife and I attended Mass today at Our Lady of the Sea Church in North Myrtle Beach. We are visting the area and are seniors who attend church regularly at home. What we saw today from Father Ray was shocking and upsetting. In our wildest dreams we never would have thought that we would ever walk out of Holy Mass. Father Ray turned the service into a political rally bashing the universal health care of various countries. When he finished people got up and clapped but several of us left. It was not the message that disturbed us but the fact that a priest used the Mass as an opportunity to expond his personal poliical views. This type of behavior has no place in a church.

Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. Fr. Ray is a breath of fresh air. I used to be bored with listening to Eulogys thru the years but Fr. Ray always makes them interesting and holds my attention. Pleasure attending Mass. Thank you.

We spent a week in N. Myrtle Beach and chose this church for Fathers Day. It was such a blessing and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. First, its so pretty and sits off the main road in a quaint little residential area. We found it just in time and were directed to the balcony for seating. I wish I could remember the name of the young priest. He was an incredible speaker and gave such a beautiful homily about the trinity. He walked around and spoke to us, not at us. He was so relaxed, funny and genuine. It is not often I have my whole family in one spot and I was thankful for this beautiful Mass.

We havent had this much personality and enthusiasm since Father Michael left, Deacon Peter delivers the homily a strong personal touch and he keeps everyone involved but its rare that he gets to deliver it,, Now this is only the second time Ive seen Fr. Cirrilo but I am so happy to have his enegry and strong message during the 8 AM service.There were a number of parishioners discussing going to another Church because the service lacks energy and purpose ,, at times the songs are beautiful ,,but for the most part they contribute to the boredom,, this may sound harsh ,. if so I am sorry But this is a big parish and it seems that the staff at OSS arent concerned about the parishioners,, I hope that we can at least keep Fr. Carrillo at the 8AM serivice,He provides the positive energy and strong message that can keep people coming ... God Bless and guide us.
