A quiet park on the other side of The Falls for those who prefer it quieter. A great place to set up chairs on a warm day and watch the river flowing by while having enough space for kids to run around. Ample parking and a washroom close by though closed now because of the season. That was a let down. Dont forget to walk the trail back towards the Falls to enjoy an amazing view of the rapids just before.

An absolute gorgeous picnic spot for families and friends. Lovely views as you are by the lake. Open field for walking and running with beautiful varieties of trees spaced out for shade. Ample parking available; paid but minimal cost. Plenty available benches or you could spread your own picnic blanket. Great spot for kids to run and play around at, as well as for biking and going for just a walk. Beautiful breeze on the day we went in early summer. Great outdoor activity during the pandemic.

I always come to this park with my family, great place to have a BBQ. Sometimes a little crowded but a word to the wise keep driving right towards the exit, the end of the park is usually empty. You might be a bit far from the bathroom but you’ll have plenty of space to set up for the day and enjoy the park. I’m only giving it 4 starts because they need to make better accommodations for restrooms throughout the park.

Tons of picnic areas with distancing for covid and by the water. Relaxing and Beautiful, public restrooms were open.

A very nice and well maintained park in between Niagara River and Welland River. There are several benches and picnic tables where families get together. There is plenty of parking available in and around the park managed by Niagara parks and there are public washrooms which are pretty clean. Its just beside a picturesque village called Chippawa (its been part of the city since 1970s)

On the Niagara River with view of the falls from a distance of about 1 mile its has a pleasant vacation, relaxed atmosphere. It is a good location if you are are ok to walk 20 minutes to the falls

Great place for a picnic! Dont forget the bug spray, a mat to sit on and a picnic basket or if youre feeling like a chef, bring your own portable grill and get grilling while watching the boats go by or play a game of ball. Whatever youre into, youll have fun!

Perfect parc! Very large. Lots of picnic tables with distance. You can have you own priva y even the parc is busy. Lots of parking spaces. Near to the falls. Very nice view.

We love going out here and just sitting and having our food. We always do this when we go to the falls. Love this place.

This is seriously a hidden gem in Niagara! The perfect place for gatherings or to sit by the water (not to swim because of the harsh current). Lots of shade and places to sit!

Nice, open park. However, it gets over-taken by huge crowds from the GTA that set up camp (tents, despite them being prohibited) and leave massive piles of garbage. Avoid on weekends and Mondays (as the park resembles a landfill) if you can.

Small parket just at the end of the road from the falls heading towards Stanley. Lots of tall trees, washrooms are clean and you can bbq. No swimming in the lake and parking is good.

Ample parking and space for picnic next to the Chippawa river and facing the Niagara River as well. Park connects to the Niagara parkway trail. Bring your bikes!

Fun family park. It has great public washrooms and lots of picnic tables. Theres a small lake which leads to the Falls. Theres ample parking here too and much cheaper than parking closer to the Falls. But you dont see any of the Falls from here. Thats the only downside.

Nice and friendly. Paid parking. Washroom are clean every so often but so many people go there and make a mess and leave it there. The people who use it should clean up after themselves. The staff is there to maintain only. And the staff also ensure the garbages are emptied periodically throughout the day. The splash area is pretty great and the pay ground is nice. Paid parking. Nice place for picnic. No swimming permitted but there is a small place where you can stand in the water to cool down.

Big open park with a lot of parking and green space. Right on the upper portion of the Niagara river trail that you can follow down to the falls (about 4km) or across the Chippewa river towards Fort Erie

Nice park away from the tourist section of Niagara Falls. If you time it right, go during the spring time between late April to mid May and experience the beautiful sakura trees/ double cherry blossoms. There are picnic benches or you can easily put down a blanket and have a picnic by the water.

Honestly, its a pretty lit park. My family goes at least once every summer. Theres lots to do and see in the area! If you are into parks and recreation I would definitely recommend it!

Favourite Park. Nice space to Picnic, walk, sit by the water, splash pad for the kids, Tim Hortons nearby, lots of trees.

Its a family picnic spot. No matter how busy you think this park will be, there will always be some empty benches for you. Which is great! (Something woodbine beach can use) it is very kids friendly. There is access to water that connects to Niagara Falls- it does jot have fencing,so be careful with the kids in that portion. There is a 10$ fee to get in though! After 6 its free

During peak season there is a fee for parking. This makes sense. The grounds are clean and well maintained. There are pavilions for family picnics and plenty of picnic tables. Great views of the Niagara river. Walk to the Falls in about 1/2 hour.

Beautiful park by the Niagara River just before the falls. It has lots of parking spaces, benches. There are trees for shade and also bathrooms for men and women. It is not open year-round but summer time it is a nice picnic spot. You can bring your own bbq. There is a huge gazibo and best of all there is beautiful walking trail near the river. You can walk to the falls. There is a water park for the small children and the parking is ten dollars during the summer during off school time otherwise it is free.

Awesome place right on the historic upper Niagara river, in the quiet village of Chippewa, great place for a family picnic or just to go drink a coffee, only reason it is not 5 star is because the views are ruined by the billowing smoke stacks on the American side of the river
