This ride will give you a breathtaking experience, the staff are very cooperative and helpful. Although during this pandemic time you have to follow proper rules of social distancing and wear masks it is a wonderful ride which lasts 20 minutes. Youll see the maid of mist boats passing by you which is on the American side. Its an amazing ride for the right price. Thanks to Hornblower team for making the ride fantastic youll also get to ride the funicular if you book your ticket online.

The rides are amazing! Everyone talks about the Maid of the Mist, but Hornblower is just as good, if not better. You will get pretty close to the falls and get wet, but it is definitely worth it. This is such an awesome way to enjoy Horseshoe Falls. You should definitely take a ride on the Hornblower if you visit the Canadian side.

We did the falls tour before things closed. It was such a wonderful experience. I was really worried about the waiting and the line ups and the space on the boat. Yes there is a lot of traffic and lines to get onto the boat but they move everything along so smoothly it was amazing. I never thought I would get that close to the falls. I actually had a good time everywhere we went in Niagara Falls

As someone who moved to Ontario and has visisted Niagara three times without going on this boat... Its an absolute must see!! The falls from down below are a completely different perspective. Jaw dropping beautiful. You will get wet on the Canadian side at Horseshoe Falls but its part of the fun and they give you a poncho. All of the railing are cleaned inbewteeen sailings and social distancing and masks are enforced. Such an amazing experience recommended to all!

This was my 5th visit to Niagara but the first one to the cruise and I must say its truely amazing experience. The view of the falls from the bottom of the falls is just mesmerizing & a larger than life like one. I have uploaded some pics & videos too for you to get a feel but its nowhere the same. Now somw details, better book the tickets online if u plan to go for the cruise else there can be a long wait int the queues. You can either pay for a fulicunar for $4 also included in the ticket price or take a free elevator to the deck of the cruise boarding point. Highly Recommended. Enjoy!

For the nature enthusiast, definitely a memorable experience. The funicular ride sets the stage with incredible views, and the friendly staff help get you situated with a plastic poncho - which is an absolute necessity for when the ship goes right up into the mist of the Horseshoe Falls! Truly an amazing experience. A positive side note, the ship is very stable, and doesnt pitch or roll too much. A huge plus for most of my family, who are very sensitive to motion sickness.

Of all the tourist traps around Niagara, I think this is the one thats truly worth its price. Generally a good professional crew, but I would recommend during this pandemic that you empower your staff to keep people in line. We had two groups on our cruise who were clearly deniers and moving about the boat freely while taking off their masks. I could tell this bothered the staff but they didnt say anything, and I was therefore forced to confront someone who came very close to me with no mask. I enjoyed the experience and it was worth the cost, but other clients were allowed to make my experience less than five stars. It might be smart to direct people to stay on their sticker.

This experience could have been amazing. But everything was ruined by aggressive employees. They let you cook under the sun for almost 40 minutes outside with the mask on before boarding. Even with social distancing and being outside waiting in line, you have to be masked. My wife was almost fainting because of the heat and the mask. She took her nose out of the mask for a minute to be able to breathe and right away the angry employees came to us like pit bulls. Instead of asking gently and politely if she has a medical condition, or if she is alright, they started to talk very loud and aggressive about covering the whole face with the mask. They clearly saw my wife leaning on me almost fainting but did not care at all and decided to aggressively lecture us in front of everyone else. This was beyond WRONG. This company should be ashamed of itself. Get ready to be treated like cattle...

This is a must see attraction when in Niagara Falls. This is my 3rd time and I definitely enjoyed it again. They provide ponchos but you will still get pretty soaked, so keep that in mind. They have circles painted on the ground for people to maintain social distancing and mandatory wearing of masks while on the boat, however, many passengers were ignoring this rule, crowding around other families and removing their masks. For this reason I am only marking it a 4 star as I felt this to be an unsafe situation, especially with the prevalence of COVID-19 in this region.

If you have the option of being able to cross the boarding into Canada and unsure which boat tour to take to see the falls look no further than the Hornblower Cruise. They offer a fast, safe, well coordinated experience into the heart of horseshoe falls. If you have any electronics you do not want getting wet make sure to leave them with someone on dry land. They do provide ponchos - which I recommend you tie securely because when the wind blows it will lift up causing you to get even more wet.Having a go pro around your neck during this ride makes for an excellent way to capture the greatness of this natural wonder.Be sure to have dry socks to change into if you have other activities planned the remainder of your day or book this tour as your last stop. The ideal time to visit is around 2-4pm for the warmest times as the water is freezing cold. If you want to avoid major lines do go earlier or later in the day. 10am or 4pm.They offer a night cruise with light show and fireworks on select nights. Check their website for dates and availability. Do purchase your tickets ahead of time to ensure entrance as they do get very busy during the months of June and July.

This is THE thing to do if youre only paying for one attraction on the Canada side of the falls. We got in line about 11:30am on a busy weekend, and the line was long, about a block outside the park entrance. However, we were pleasantly surprised how fast it moved.Three tips:1. On a hot day, do not put on the poncho as soon as they give it to you. Wait until you are very close to or on the boat.2. There are numerous spots for snacks and drinks after you get off the boat. Get in line about lunch, cool off on the boat, have lunch down near the boat for a lot less crowded area. We didnt know this, but just happened to do it this way.3. For best pictures, get to the front of the boat when boarding. They will pass the American Falls on the way out and back, so dont worry if you end up on one side more than the other. When the boat goes to Horseshoe Falls, it spends most of (read almost all) of the time facing the falls. Either deck will do. If youre in the back, youll have a hard time getting good shots. This also allows you to look down and get a feeling of how strong the water movement is in relation to the boat. We were one of the last to board. And found room on front lowere deck.

If you want to tour Niagara Falls properly and feel physically, I think riding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise was a good choice. First of all, the cruise passes through the American Falls, past the most main Horses, Horseshoe Falls, and finally returns looking at Rainbow Bridge. If you ride this cruise, you can see and feel the waterfall very close, and experience the waterfalls in person. I visited Niagara on a high school field trip and rode this cruise together, and we were able to take pictures and make vivid memories here in Niagara. Before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruises, one thing to be careful about is that since it receives a lot of water, you should prevent water from entering electronic devices such as cell phones. In fact, I thought, Wouldnt it be nice to have water in my smartphone and have a waterproof pack ready? They also provides red raincoats but does not cover my body sufficiently, which makes me get a lot of water and makes your shoes wet, so be careful when you ride. But, I highly recommend boarding Hornblower Niagara Cruises if you want to make a big memory in Niagara Falls overall.
