The most amazing colours! We arrived during the big wind storm with winds of 140km in St. Catherines and we still had an amazing time. Not many people walking in that weather which made it seem like we had the place to ourselves! Did a walking and driving tour and enjoyed the downtown core with all the neon lights on the stores as well. Half the venues were closed due to covid but we just wanted to take in the atmosphere and steer clear of crowds. Highly recommend seeing the light festival!

Haunted houses, wax museums, go karts, skywheel, shops and food.Just make sure to bring your mask and keep your distance as best you can.

Excellent hospitality team full circle at Marriot Falls Spa location. Our check in clerk John ensured we had a great room location for traveling with young children. The Valet team was fabulous. Jesse and Fernando kept our vehicle accessible to us and the night morning reps checked to see if I was breaking into my own car! Our junior suite overlooking Horseshoe falls was clean, accommodating and comfortable. The room was nicely renovated with comfortable furnishings and a good size double soaker Jacuzzi. You get the sense from all the team, from Mortons to lobby food service are happy to be serving and working. Great stay. Highly recommend the resort for a destination location when visiting Niagara Falls.

One of the typical places you must have gone to at least once if you live in/visit southern Ontario. Niagara Falls is a sight to behold. Come back at night or look out the window of any falls-view hotel rooms for a light show on the falls at dusk. For the cost conscious, definitely stay at one of the nearby hotels that has free parking (yes, they exist!) and is within walking distance.

Beautiful spot to take a walk. You have the falls on one side and a beautiful park and gardens on your other side. It isnt a difficult walk along the path, though the path is pretty uneven ground even though its paved. There are vendors along the path selling ice cream, water and hot dogs. They also have the zip line, the ticket kiosk for the cruise and at the far end of the path a marketplace.

My fav place in Ontario, especially when its note crazy busy. If you go close to the falls on a warm day, the mist from the falls is so refreshing. Visited Avondale Dairy Ice Cream Bar and Farm on Stewart Road, in the country, on the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake a few weeks ago.The was an orderly social distancing glass line outside, and another shorter line inside the front door. We were greeted by our server at the door and assigned a numbered counter, where same person appeared to take our order. At the front door each person is given a hand spray as they enter and asked questions like are we well, etc.You must wear a mask upon entry. They have a large variety of ice creams, including banana splits, sundaes, etc. We had two single scoops, and requested in a cup.Ice cream is weighed, and priced accordingly. For two scoops, cost was $8.50 approx. Including tax.Ice cream is made on the premises.Real ice cream, made the old fashioned way. You can see the cows behind at the barn, way back behind the store. Its a beautiful rural setting, and a long standing local tradition for families from the surrounding area, and closeby cities, like St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and even Toronto, to take a drive there. They have extended their opening for a month or so, due to local request.Usually they are closed after late Fall and for the Winter months. There is free parking at the front and sides of the store. Usually, in Summer, there are picnic tables available. They are now stacked up, unavailable for Winter. There is also a small swing set for the kids, during normal times, but currently not in use.I would recommend this place for an ice cream treat, and outing. Check first to make sure its open, as it will probably close in the next few weeks for Winter.

With the COVID restrictions shutting down many of the attractions, it was still a nice visit, without the throngs of people clogging up the angles for photos. No crowds and cheaper parking made the day a hit with great weather with the fall sun lower in the sky to light up the falls and make them really sparkle. The falls are still the attraction, to be enjoyed.

There is nothing else like these Falls. An absolute delight to see and hear the power of the water. We went whilst it had snowed and there was a lot of ice but clear paths had been made as to where you can stand and view. The part near the saltrock shops and restaurants was not crowded so it gave us plenty of time to take in the view and to warm up. I could spend hours looking at this marvel. The view varies at day and night so try and do both. We walked from Clifton Hills towards the Falls but if this is too much then there are buses that go from end to end. I cant wait to return. Definitely seeing it from the American or Canadian side will fill you with satisfaction because the views are spectacular and you can take wonderful photos. There are also many activities to do and places to visit, anyway, you will have a good time, especially at night where the falls become a multi-colored show. I definitely give #The Tower Hotel 5 stars for being a unique place.

On the business side extremely over priced breakfast at IHOP for 2 just under a hundred dollars. The food wasnt good service lousy. Also all these places charge an 8 percent development tax. Huge rip off and as a Niagara resident trying to help our region disgusting. I will keep my money in other parts of the region and support those who are not out to take advantage. My hotel charged 35$ to park my car 4 blocks away. That was 35 per night and the lot was 3/4 empty. The hotel did not provide housekeeping every day but would bring a bag of towels if requested and would take the garbage if you place it outside your room . Breakfast consisted of a paper bag with water apple muffin and juice. The hotel web sites talk of adjustments I would suggest calling and finding out what they are. Some attractions are shut down but others are running charging more due to limited capacity. There are lots of patios open to eat at. We had dinner at the Chucks Roadhouse patio and the food was good. On our day of departure we had tableside buffet breakfast on a patio at AlMacs buffet.
