Perfect little sanctuary to soak up the surrounding Christopher Street and feel safe sat here while remembering the history that took place only feet away at the Stonewall Inn. Lots of benches and bins, always clean and tidy and has beautiful flowers and a small garden area to view. One of our favourite places to visit!

Quite clean and well-maintained compared to other New York City Parks, probably because its a national park. Definitely something different from other New York City Parks, worth a visit!

An impressive story about the illegal gay bar owned by mafia in the 1960s where the first Pride started after a police raid in Stonewall Inn in 1969.

A must! Just a great little park. Good place to relax over local coffee, baked goods, ice cream etc...meet others. Remember why this is an historic park... Hope life changes to give all true equal rights.. and stop the greed and hate.

Happy 20 Thanksgiving 20 Christopher Park is located in Greenwich Village, and the park is maintained by the Parks Department of the City of New York and the National Park Service. The park sits across the street from the Stonewall Inn, and it is probably as old as the Stonewall Inn itself. It is a very nice little park that is in the shape of a triangle, and there are plenty of park benches for folks to sit and read or have their lunches..

I was underwhelmed. Probably my expectations were too high. Its great symbolically that this is now a national monument, but the figurative sculpture didnt move me much.
