Every event a fire hazard. Fire. Hazard. All of the service terrible. I dont like to complain about service because underpaid people doing their best, right? Its bad here. The food and drinks are also too mediocre for the price point. I would never go here if I didnt have to support a friends event, and I spend a lot of time in the neighborhood.

I recently went to a private event at this awful establishment and had one of the worst nights of my life. The minute I stepped foot into the venue Mike (the bouncer, who was having the biggest power trip known to mankind) aggressively patted me down before scanning my ID with what he thought was some state of the art, high-tech bouncer app on his phone. He took his job far too seriously for a bouncer at a college bar and it took him almost an hour to let in 75 people for our private event, eating up almost half of our precious two hour open bar, while people waiting outside were left to endure NYCs brutal winter weather. The venue then proceeded to end our open bar 30 minutes early without any explanation.Mike spent the rest of the night ejecting people from the venue for no reason (power trip exhibit B) and being overly aggressive with individuals at our private event, leaving many people feeling extremely uncomfortable. The employees at this venue are extremely unprofessional (especially Brandon). If you are considering hosting a private event here, I strongly suggest you take your money elsewhere. Some things in life are too good to be true, and I guess our $30 two hour open bar was one of them, which ended up being $30 for an hour of watered down kid sized drinks, where one server was responsible for serving 75 people.

The West End has a LOT of entertainment going on from drag to karaoke but MY personal favorite is their live stand-up comedy shows. Funny By Default is a great show and you NEVER know who you might recognize from the teevee dropping in..Ill give you a hint, the network name is two Cs!

I went during happy hour. This place seemed nice enough at first, so I thought Id write up a nice review. I noticed a few people seemed to have had billing issues when I looked at the reviews. Then I had a billing issue too! I wasnt sure if my drink qualified for a second free one, so I asked the barman if I was eligible for a second one. He said of course. So I ordered some food to go with it. When I asked for the bill for the food, my second drink was added on too! Apparently it didnt. Kind of explains why the place had only 5/6 people during happy hour. Not coming here again.

1st timer .. Went to support my God son on his 1st appearance performing in NYC.. @mansaeli he did very well as did the other young artists featured at the venue. The back room is where the stage is very very tight in sitting/ standing space so much so that I got showered by someones entire drink order.. Again no worries it happens so I had 2 long Island iced tea.. Yup old skool wasnt in the mood for anything else. Drink was definitely a good look tips hat to the bartender who was there that night not a lot know how to make a decent L.I.T.. otherwise it was a good night.

Horrible Horrible Horrible Horrible establishment. One of ourartist had a performance here and left his iPad with the in house sound tech/Dj Melissa aka Melony. The following day we reach out the establishment and speak with the managers who said they would message her and get back to us. THEY NEVER DID. We call the second day and managers are giving the run around. More emails sent more messages left directly with Melissa and she nor anyone at the lounge got back to us. The final day we call and after more run arounds being told that the manager wasnt in and is running late, the phone was hung up on us. So my artist shows up to there within 30 mins to venue and asks whos in charge and magically the manager is there. He asks for the iPad or else the cops were gonna be called. Melissa the Dj shoves the iPad in his hand and mumbles some disrespectful remarks to the other staff. Please Please Please stay away from business establishments and staff who do not respect the people. We need to remind these disgusting establiments with nasty management and staff that if it wasnt for us coming there with our money they would have no business.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT Yuck

I have been here twice on Wednesdays to experience the karaoke show. Its super fun. Every one such a good singer it almost feels we are on Broadway. And we are. Its located on the corner of 107st and broadway. I had a great time both days i visited and sang super fun song an sang along with the crowd. Excercising my inner super star singer alter ego. Sometime i dont hit the note and its fine. We keep singing and itseven more fun.next time it gets better.I recommend it.

It is 9/ 15/17. Melo, the manager was extremely rude and very disrespectful when it was 80 degrees or more and asked her to turn on the AC. There was no ventilation (windows closed, door too) and she was dismissive (beyond belief) when I asked her to turn on the AC that was on earlier and functioning properly. The bartenders would not turn on the AC because she said no (thats what they told me). She wouldnt even have a conversation with me. Melo walked away mid sentence. What a disgrace!!!! I hope she loses her job. Shes not worthy of such an important position. She is losing business for West End Lounge because she is unprofessional! Im very disappointed and wont be returning.

**TO ANY ASPIRING PREFORMERS: Go elsewhere!!!***You wont be actually judged by your talent. This establishment is doing SO poorly, that youre talent wont be determined by the panel of estimated (but clearly uninterested judges) but by the amount of food and drinks the people you bring buy (on top of the two drink minimum)The extra star is for the host who was actually enjoyable. Service was OK if you like having to wave down your server everytime for them not to remember your soda.BUT if youre looking to add something to your resume do yourself a favor and go somewhere dignified.Thats what you deserve.

Food is awful. I ate one bite and couldnt believe you could mess up mac and cheese so bad. Went for Bound for Broadway and the acoustics were terrible, the MC was rude (he thought he was funny), and they had the nerve to charge cover and a 2 drink minimum for what is a badly run amateur hour. I felt bad for the singers that had to perform in those conditions. Will never go again.
