Amazing atmosphere, good food, patient wait staff (we played table tag a lot seeing as we kept changing our minds on where we would be seated) - I had a great time. Drinks kept coming without a lag in service time whatsoever. Had a fresh, fun banter with the staff as they poured drinks. This is also a comedy venue and found out you can STILL see comics in a safe, outdoor set up with dinner - what a deal! If you are a bit iffy on the prices then hit up Pulsd first but trust me, its well worth every coin. Love this place and cant wait to be a repeat customer.
Wonderful experience. It had a nice atmosphere, the food was surprisingly exceptionally great, and the comedians were pretty funny. Food was slightly pricey but when you consider the show that comes with it its a nice deal. The time here was so good that I thought about leaving a review telling people how good it is. Definitely coming back here sometime!

Theoretically nice. Had a nice 2 piece band. But they had one waitress for a dozen tables, food thrown together so guessing kitchen understaffed as well. They tried hard but management doesn’t have it together. And expensive foe what it was.For example. Bloody Mary $15. Small, nothing added, top pour on the drink and I had to go find my own something to stir it up with. And then it was meh.Won’t repeat.
The absolute BEST comedy club in manhattan. Food is delicious, cocktails are fantastic, the staff is great, and the talent is always top notch. Love their outdoor set up and can’t wait for more visits here!
The food was excellent; however the service was rather bad. We had to ask for water several times, refills several times, we never received the ice we asked for, we had to ask for utensils after the food was brought out and we received only two napkins for a party of four. The staff was nice and polite but just missing all of those basic things was a little troubling.
First lets talk about the food. It is very delicious. There are plenty of choices that anyone would like to try. Did you see the photo of the octopus I attached!? Ah-mazing! The pizza they have, definitely worth it. I highly recommend the old fashioned as well, they have a special recipe. The comedy they bring to this place as well, top notch. I have not laughed this hard in my life. Every time I go, it gets better. If you are ever interested in trying your own stand up, you can do that here as well. You need to ask the staff on the requirements though. This is a must visit.
My husband and I were there for brunch and this pizza was amazing!!! The ambiance, and the drinks were so delicious!! We got the deal on pulsd and everything was honored!! Definitely recommend!!
I thought the food was really good. My bf wasn’t happy with his portion size but I thought it was fine. We went for brunch and we never had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. The server was very attentive and really nice. Plan to come back and try the pizza ! I took a star away because they had banana chips on the French toast. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea but they need to invest in real bananas or change the menu to reflect that.
Stop by The Stand if you have a chance. The food is great, I recommend the spicy sausage pizza. The drinks are great. The staff is friendly. I get hungry just thinking about it.

I started going to the Stand when they were in the east village. This is an amazing reboot and new location — tasty and well done food, nice ambience (sound proofing) and great service. Interior is more “on trend” than previously rustic. Especially appreciate the Filipino influences in apps. Comedy line up is always great too. Well done!
Menu: American, Indian, seafood & Italian choices. Priced to accommodate ANY wallet. Wait staff attentive. Cozy dining. ALL comedians were funny. They were arranged progressively better. Decent drinks average NY prices.

First I have to say I dont post many reviews. Many places in NYC are outstanding and I enjoy them. However I was extremely impressed with The Stand. We were going to a comedy club and found the food worthy of a Michelin star. We had Charley as our waiter and he was outstanding. All the staff from the Hostess to the busboys were. Then when the food came out. Wow!!!!. Chef Harold Villarosas food was amazing. I love steak and have been to most steak houses in NY. I would never expect that quality and taste at a comedy club. What an amazing night. Oh and the comics are funny also!!!
I can only speak to the brunch which is always a good time. Ive been back twice now. The time limit is VERY flexible and the servers are impressively attentive to near-empty glasses. The cookie dough pancakes are INCREDIBLE and I can also speak to how delicious the burger is. A guaranteed great experience at a dive-vibe venue.

Tried this place yesterday for brunch after hearing rave reviews from friends. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and courteous the entire time. The manager Christos was outstanding and is truly an asset to this establishment. If youre not a fan of buffet style brunch, then definitely try this out, you wont be disappointed.
The brunch here was BOMB!!! I had the ‘Full NYC Breakfast’ it was one of the best brunch plate of food I’ve had! 10/10 would recommend! The bottomless mimosas were just perfect! Our server was super welcoming and very friendly! Such a great experience overall!
The Stand is back and better than ever.The Stand has always been amongst one of the best comedy clubs in the country, but now, The Stand is an awesome restaurant too!The restaurant menu is simple but delicious, with a few delectable pub classics to choose from. My girlfriend and I both got burgers and onion rings and we were blown away by how great everything tasted. I guess we were a little prejudice against comedy club food from some previous experiences but... just eat here. You won’t be disappointed.The club itself is top notch. The downstairs room is clean and spacious (you aren’t on top of everyone,) and there really isn’t a bad seat in the house to see some of the best comics in NYC. Can’t comment on the other room because I haven’t seen it but I can’t see it being any different.Big fan of this place and rooting for it to stay the course of becoming NYC’s new #1 club. I’ll be back for the food, show ticket or not!

The food and drinks were great, as was the service. I know comedians rotate but we never stopped laughing the entire night. I havent been to the city a lot, but I loved that the comedy club was downstairs and a beautiful bar was upstairs.
Great place to eat. The Stand burger was delicious. The fries are very tasty. The server we had was really funny and helpful. Cant go wrong here.
Came for brunch, and it was one of the better meals I’ve had here in NYC, which is saying a lot cause I eat out often. I had the Full NYC Breakfast, which I highly recommend. It was incredible. The service was also great and the restaurant has a really solid atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

This is the most beautiful comedy club in the entire city! The food and drinks are great and the comedy is always the best! Great place to take a date or even go solo. Highly recommend.

This was excellent value for money! On a Monday night they have free shows, so we booked our seats in advance of our trip. The bar area is small but the drinks are not too expensive. Once we were seated the staff were very good at coming round to take orders. A warning!! If you dont want to sit at the front, dont be first in the que to go down to be seated. And when I say the front, the tables are practically on the stage! The host was excellent and had great crowd interaction, he wasnt mean but be prepared to handle a joke! We hadnt expected so many comedians which meant there was something for all senses of humour. The only problem is the whole showcase is about 2 and half hours long with no interval so by the end I felt like I didnt appreciate the last two comedians as I was starting to lose interest a bit. Other than that I would really recommend this place for a visit.
What a great place - the food was amazing and the staff was attentive and kind!! The comedy was so so good and the set up of the room downstairs was one of the best comedy set ups i have ever been too!!! Get the pizzas and the smore dessert!
I loved the older spot but the new lives up to the hype. The staff is was also extremely supportive to the customers experience.I highly recommend this as a place to feed your belly and a place to feed your mind.

Went to see comedy on a whim, and the show was great. Comics were not well known names, but the exceeded expectations. Didnt try the food, but it looked good. Mocktails were delicious. Place has a good vibe. A little upscale, but not snooty.

We went whilst on holiday last Tuesday and are still raving about the experience to anyone that will listen! We are a British couple and had an absolute ball. At $5 a ticket, its an absolute steal. Would happily pay more!! Laughed until it hurt and the location was cute and intimate. We had dinner before hand and the food was to die for. All the staff were great, especially our server Graham, and they really added to whole evening. If we lived closer, it would be a weekly outing for sure!

I went to the stand with a Pulsed voucher. Not only was 3 of our meals made incorrectly, but the voucher was valid for unlimited drinks and we were cut off after have 3 rounds....The food once made correctly was ok. Will not be returning.
Absolutely love this place. They have great shows and theyre very affordable. They recently opened a restaurant at their new location and the food looks amazing. I definitely recommend coming to this comedy club, its one of my favorites in NYC

A group of us went out for a work party. Such a fun atmosphere. Food was ok, nice to get a snake and a beer but the entertainment was the best!
Well be back. This place has potential. I went with a friend. Our cocktails, despite the interesting ingredients, were disappointing. So was our food. The place, however, is a very nice upgraded version of the earlier Stand on 3rd Ave. The servers were nice, friendly, and prompt. Cool fun no-attitude vibe too. Well be back.

The new Stand location is great. Much bigger than old one. Had an amazing time at Grand Opening on 7/16. Best comics in the country and NYC were drop dead funny as usual.
Would leave no stars if I could. Horrible horrible place! Pizza was undercooked, crust was super doughy. Supports hate speech. Had a comedian there who made offensive jokes about Kobe Bryant’s death. Would not recommend.

This is a perfect date place. The food and drinks are amazing and the show we saw was very entertaining. The venue feels cozy but that made it more fun in my opinion. Everyone was there for a good time. It can be a little pricey for dinner and a show but I intend to check out their weekday show and see how it compares. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Ive been to the stand twice and honestly its a great place to sit and watch comedy. Drinks are inexpensive and the comedians are great. The first time we had Kevin Hart drop in and do a surprise set. They get some of the premier talent up on that stage. Cool place.
The place was nice and the food was good but the service was a little on the slow side. This was also the first time at a brunch where we were actually held to the 90 minute limit on drinks.

Whoa!!! We just got home from a night of raucous, downtown NYC, off-the-rails, nasty (according the the comedians themselves) comedy. Love the new home of The Stand (though we were OK with the 2nd Avenue digs as well--considering the quality of the entertainment), as it was our 1st time at the 16th Street location--que chic! Love this place!
Cabaret style seating in very intimate setting. No heckling allowed...which is great because I went to see the comedians and not rude audience. Nice bar upstairs where the line-up hangs out before and after. Had a great time and laughed even after my face hurt...it was that good. No stars popped in as teased, but didnt matter: was highly entertaining.

One of my favorite comedy clubs. Has some of the best comics around. And like the Comedy Cellar its very comic friendly. Which means a way better experience for the audience. And very important...they have great food. Not just good food FOR a comedy club. But actually great food.
