Some of the most vapid, out of touch, milquetoast programming the New York art world has to offer. Don’t waste your time or money.

Cool place

I went in to see the Major Arcana: Witches in America exhibit, but stayed for the rest of the pieces! Its a nice little art gallery, and I definitely recommend stopping in, as they showcase some talented artists. You can see all their current exhibitions on their website.

Hard to know whats gone wrong with this gallery in recent years. (Too many address changes? Poor sales?) My partner and I were surprised by the decidedly sour reception we received from the front-desk receptionist (and gallerist) when we visited several months ago . . . and chalked it up to a bad day by all concerned. A recent visit proved to be an exact repeat of same. (Do you have to enter check-in-hand to be treated courteously?) Disappointing.We wont be returning . . . and have removed our names from their mailing list.

Good location, quiet, pleasant staff, great price!

Its a little far West, but worth the trip. Every time I visit I am blown by the brilliant use of presentation space. Currently they are bringing a hero of mine - Mick L Angelio, the Pieta Guy who, like me, worked on living models - back to life! My work tends to be huge and Im rethinking that. Size always counts; but maybe less really is more....
