I’m a “baby” in Warehouse time. My first and only show was The Clash when I was 13 and too young to be there! But even at that age I was aware of its importance to rock & roll history and the music scene in New Orleans. This is a great monument! It’s 100% worth the time to stop and walk around to take in the photos, flyers, and ticket stubs from shows of lore! The pavers memorializing each night of concerts and special tributes are touching. I appreciate each and every person who reached into their pockets to buy a tile to help make this monument park happen so fans of A Warehouse have a place to visit and to take their kids and grandkids and tell them about the glory days of music.

I haven’t been to the monument as I don’t live in New Orleans any more...I was fortunate to have lived in New Orleans when The Warehouse was alive and music from so many of the great bands I have seen there filled the air...wonderful monument and wonderful memories from a glorious age in music...️
