This is a fantastic place with real artist who care enough to spend their time bring you up to speed on many levels. If your a beginner like I was this is the place to get started on the right foot. If you are an-accomplished potter you will find The space , equipment and access necessary to get you to your next personal best.

Nice place to try your hand at throwing, some guidance provided but definitely ask for help when in doubt. May be necessary to take course again since classes can be so short and informal depending on instructor.

I joined the London Clayworks about 2 1/2 years ago, soon after it opened. I had been wanting to get back into ceramics for years, but I didnt want to deal with setting up my own studio. When I met with Karin, I knew it was going to be a good fit, because she was so warm and welcoming. At the time, I was doing all hand building, but I later became interested in learning how to throw on the wheel. I did a private tuition session with Karin and she showed me the ins and outs of beginning throwing. She was very patient while I clumsily attempted the new techniques. Karin is so genuine and kind and she has become one of my favorite people on the planet!Overall the studio has a great vibe and all the members are nice and respectful of other peoples work. There are plenty of wheels and tables for everyone to spread out. Its very convenient to be able to buy the clay in the studio as well as have many glaze options available for no extra charge. Kiln firings happen often, so I never have to wait very long for my work to be fired. I highly recomend this studio!

I recently went here for my birthday and I must say....I LOOOOVED EVERY MOMENT of this experience! I will definitely be going back. I have never done pottery before and I was slightly afraid that I wouldnt be able to create anything. However, with the instructors advice and demonstrations, I was able to create 3 pieces! Prices are GREAT and she is so sweet and funny!!! I highly recommend this location for your pottery lessons!!!

Fine studio, but proprietor is not stable. She is mean, selfish, breaks students work, and throws you out if you have any issues with her ugliness.
