We love the park, any time of the year. We came here for trick or treating and had such a great time. The weather was perfect and so many people had booths and carts set up for different types of festivities. On an ordinary day we enjoy seeing the ducks and walking around the ponds and playgrounds. Lots of area to walk, picnic and play. Always well maintained.

My sister had her wedding here and it was perfect. With a host of ways you can use the park I recommend it.

I went to this park as a child. I took my children there. I still love it.

The park is lovely, some litter on the ground and in the ponds. People are just crazy there. Parents encouraging their children to run and attack the baby ducks. Also, people park in the middle of the road to talk to people who are fishing and just dont move at all. Parents leaving children unattended. Over all I enjoy taking my kids to the park but some of the people need to be more respectful.

Nice peaceful and clean park. My wife and I had a decent time fishing. Caught a few carp that we released. Great for people who play pokemon. Lots of gyms and stops to spin for that game.

Always bring children to playground, feed the ducks and geese. Kids loved Teterboro totters and merry go round.

Home to the Henry County 4-H Fair, This place is full of good times.Very well maintained and inviting to all.

Memorial Park is always a great place to visit. My son loves to feed the ducks and they are remaking the upper part of the park. I love the cannon and other memorials there and we visit there often. They also have places to have parties and cookouts and even weddings! They also have places for kids to play and the water is a huge plus! I recommend visiting this park (often) :)

Great little weekend get away

Good fishing, plenty of shade trees and a good all rounder for the family.

If you get some food theres picnic tables there. You cant beat the view.

Considering this is an open to public, free to visit park it has considerable space for yard games, several different clusters of playground equiptment, several grill sights, and multiple ponds to fish; I believe its the best free park Ive seen.

Decent fishing here for a public park!

Its a fun place to get out with your youngsters and get into nature.If it werent for wanting pictures Id leave the phone at home.If your on your phone your missing out on the fun. They have an equestrian area.Amazing. 4H is held there. You can rent the bottom of a building by the lake for special occasions. Theres a park but a small creek or turn right after you see the horses to the park with lots of picnic areas.You can go on mature hikes.The place is huge,and perfect for everyone.PLEASE DO PICK UP YOUR TRASH.PLENTY OF TRASH CANS AROUND NO NEED FOR TRASH TO END UP IN ONE OF THE LAKES.

Beautiful and many good childhood memories.

Good poke stop destination but terrible park. Trails werent well marked and some werent taken care of. Some ended abruptly and didnt look like they were meant to. Others lead to the gold course which was no trespassing. It really looked like it could be nice (and maybe once was) but the trails just werent up to par.

Nice park. 4 small lakes to fish. Several shelters for whatever you have going on. Adjacent golf course, horse arenas, sledding in the winter and great fireworks for Independence Day.

Great park, hardly anyone ever there, so no crowds. We love the tennis courts and fishing pond! Great family time

If youve never explored this park, you should. Nice place to spend a day.

It makes me sad to see all the playground equipment gone, and being replaced with an Expo center.

Beautiful in all four seasons. I have enjoyed solo walks here, read, written, taken some awesome photos, met friends, and walked and chatted with my significant other. I love the natural areas. Even though it doesn’t concern me as I don’t have kids, it would be a good thing for the park to update the play equipment.

Its a very nice place for family get togethers. Its very quiet and clean. Lots of nice playground equipment for children and a nice place for Catching Fish

I have loved this park since I was a kid. Fish or feed the ducks. Two different places for the kids to play on equipment. Also a nice place for a family reunion or get together.

Usually kept clean. Great for birthdays! We like the little twisty paths through the woods. Our favorite is the tiny, kind of hidden one with the mini waterfall. Its a nice place to vist for anyone who goes, but especially for those who live in town, it would be a great place to escape and relax for an hour or three! You can go any time of year, but in my opinion, its the most beautiful in the spring &fall.

Would be much nicer if they would open the gates. Its spring break and cant get to the parks easily.

Great place went here to throw some seeds and bread at the ducks and they loved it.

The park was being torn down when we came to play. Im not sure if they are redoing it but it was a huge mess when we came.

New Castle is lucky to have such a great park. Its well maintained, pretty (especially in the fall), and has some facilities available for rental.

Ive been going to this park my entire life I love it !!

A golf course adjoins the park which affords several walking trails and playgrounds. In the off season several areas are closed but golfers were out in January on a 50° day as were several walkers.

I have loved this park since I was a boy coming here with my grandparents to feed the ducks and play on the playground. It is still a very relaxing park and has some very beautiful areas to bring your little ones to and enjoy the outdoors and interact with nature.

Great place for family and friends to take their kids

It was sad my daughter and i went out there first time in forever. Just seemed noone was taking care of it. Trash everwhere and a huge dead turtle.... Sad

This park used to be good until they started asking for $20 to sit at picnic table we paid for.

Not a bad place but they need to stock the lakes...

I think this is a great park. Lakes, trails, an amphitheater, a WW I statue, a play area, tennis courts, and various memorials. Henry County is fortunate to have this park.

Saddle club and 4h are awesome groups, superior horse facilities as well!

Watch out for used condoms, homosexual predators and used hypodermic needles. Carry permits and legally concealed weapons advised.
