Closed during the week but cool old buildings.
Enjoyed the tour very much!
Very knowledgable and personable staff. Cool history.
If you have time spend a Day here with the Tour Guide. Hell blow your mind with information unknown to the average American.
Beautiful and well-preserved building, part of the First State National Historic Park and promoted as one of its seven main attractions. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly bearded gentleman, who gave us a wonderful 40-minute tour for free. It was through his stories that the place came to life and made us appreciate its historic significance. The tour ended at the second floor, where there is a small exhibition on the history of European settlement in Delaware. We visited in the summer and the air-conditioned interior was definitely a welcome break from the intense heat. They also have clean restrooms at the basement.
I attended a Black History Month event here. It was interesting, well thought out, and free. The building, rich in history, has been lovingly restored. Parking is a bit challenging though.
Great tour and very interesting history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!
Great museum but its only lead by tour and is not free to roam.
Very informative historical tour and museum. So glad we could go while we were in the area
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and really interesting.
This incredible building was a British court, capitol building, colonial assembly hall, and tea house. Make sure to get a guided tour of the building- you will learn so much about Delaware! Seriously, this was one of the best tours Ive ever been on.
There is a lot of history here. It is a must see if you want to know the history of the city of New Castle.
So informative! Excellent tour!
I believe this buildings cupola is the center point of the northern circular boundary of Delaware.

I love this area and enjoy all the history it has to offer. A great place to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I had a great time, and the admission was free! The building was amazing, and the guide, Mr. David P. Price, did a fantastic job explaining the history.
