Hidden gem in the Ellington Agricultural Center. The exhibits show farming implements and technologies from history and also have exhibitions of types of crops and how plants interact with the ecosystem. There is also a group of cabins next to the museum and some larger pieces of equipment on display outside. Some of the displays seem a little dated, but well worth stopping by even if its just for a walk around the property.

This place is pretty amazing really. I was unable to enter any buildings today since its memorial day, but just seeing the things they have outdoors is pretty amazing.

While the main museum is under construction there’s not much to do here, but it wouldn’t be fair to penalize that too much in the review. (It claims to be opening soon.) There are some outdoor exhibits, mostly old farm equipment, that are kinda fun to look at, and the setting is beautiful, but I think the whole place will have a lot more life to it once it reopens.

Educational and interesting. The scope of the museum isnt all that wide, but can provide enough for a school field trip or small independent group of curious visitors.
