This park was just recommended to us and we wasted no time visiting it. Great park with so much to do. Parents, be mindful of blind spots. Keep your babies safely in sight. We had a fun time here and even ate a snack at the tables they provide. Lots of shade too. We recommend it.

Great park close to the hospitals and universities as well as shopping and food. The Sea serpent mosaic is a must see now that it has been recently restored. Theres a massive playground on site with well maintained relatively new equipment including handicap accessible portions and swings.

Fannie Mae Dees Park is a wonderful urban park for children. There is plenty to do no matter the age of your child, easy access to a variety of sizes picnic tables for packed lunches, and a wonderful dragon mosaic art piece thats impossible to miss! There are swings for big kids as well as bucket seats for infants.

Dragon Park is really cool, but as other parents have mentioned. There are several blind spots and so you really need to stay with your kids while there. The playground is big and offers quite a few things for kids to do.

Beautiful park! Nice place for the whole family to enjoy. Lots of places to sit and eat or hang out.. Huge playground for kids. Only downfall was, we went for the art, and it was covered and locked up.. and graffiti all over it! Horrible that ppl trash everything. We will be going back thru summer. Check it out!

A dangerous magical place. Dragons and stone mound deathtraps. Not some fakey rubber mass-produced Park for sissie parents who cant handle a scrape or two on the shins. I grew up here and just came back as an old man with my new wife and it still is awesome. Be careful. If your kid gets hurt it is your fault and yours alone.

Fun city park with lots of green space. Also k own as Dragon Park because of the huge mosaic dragon in one section of the Park, Dees Park has plenty of green space for stretching out in the sun, a play scape for kids 12 and under, and a picnic pavilion for events. there are also basketball and tennis courts and climbing structures, including a tunnel that even us grown ups can enjoy. The dragon is under construction at the time of this review, but you can peek through the fence to see it.

Great public park with several play areas, even all-inclusive for kiddos with varied abilities, wheelchairs, etc. Well-maintained and clean, good shade coverage on hot days; they even have a water mister in the summer. There are a few scattered picnic areas and lots of open green space. The park even includes a soccer area and tennis courts. Bathrooms are relatively clean and offer a changing table. The only real downside is parking, but if you keep circling the park, typically a street spot opens up. My three year old loves the rock fort with the super secret tunnel.

I have very fond memories of this park from my childhood and was looking forward to sharing the Dragon Park with my kids. When we went, the dragons were under restoration and blocked off by 6 ft chain link fence. While I am certainly glad the restoration is being done, it takes away some of the magic of this place to not even be able to see the dragons. The equipment is nice and well maintained, but without the dragons, it is just another playground

It was a beautiful park with a lot to occupy our selves with, but the dragon was not finished so our hopes were let down. This is a great park with several different play areas. My daughter loved the oversized see-saw and all of the swings. It has 2 handicap swings as well as 2 baby swings and 2 standard swings. It is adjacent to two schools, each with their own playgrounds... so the time you could spend playing here on the weekend is endless! We visited Nashville for 3 days and made 2 visits to this park. Also, there are 2 public restrooms here for when nature calls.
