Ok the man in the pool area Mr Jerry is nice and wont let me go above five feet. He remembers me telling him that i didnt know how to swim and i appreciated that!! Nice man.

Nice big park surrounded by homes so not too much traffic. Also near a school so probably gets busy on school days. There is a great mix of kids and adults. There is also a community center which may have bathrooms available. The parking lot was packed even though the park wasnt too crowded, so may have to park and walk.

Ive been trying to put more effort into getting enough exercise, so Ive been going to different local parks in my part of town. East Park is smaller than other parks, but has enough paved area and sidewalks to get in a good walk. My only complaint is that there is some garbage on the grounds and the smell of urine...most likely from vagrant individuals. I hate that people are living this way, but isnt someone in charge of making sure parks are clean? I will come back, but please, Metro Parks and Rec...keep it clean.

Crawfish Festival was a good time! Easy parking, be sure to bring your chairs or blankets for seating.

Came for the Tennessee hot chicken festival, and oh boi was the scran good. Large variety of chicken and food stands for everyone to enjoy. There appeared to be a very high police presence but coming from Europe maybe this is a normal occurrence at chicken festivals in the US. Sadly I rained quite hard but people spirits where still high. The park is just a short walk down from a “high street” area with pubs and general retail.

Nice community center. Great yoga class. Work out machines Ill hit later more that I know they are there. Great resource for us East Nashvillians

My baby shower was here. They were accommodating and helpful. If you have an event ir party to plan check here first they are reasonably priced and stay open as late as you need. I appreciate thaf it gives back to my community as well.

Good rope pyramid, usual play equipment. Community Center suffers from the peculiar Nashville affliction of being closed whenever you want to actually use it, like Sundays, and the bathrooms are inside the Community Center. Good staff. An indoor pool, but lessons can be a bit erratic. After school programming integrated with the adjacent Warner Elementary school. Bike parking.

I wasnt really in the park but walked from Russel Rd to downtown Nashville safely on a gorgeous saturday afternoon.

Nice park! There are so many old building around this park. Hopefully stays same for a while, before the Nashville Builders take over!

Large park in East Nashville with fields, softball/kickball diamonds and more.

Great rooms for rent to accommodate whatever your needs are. We were there celebrating my Mothers 90th Birthday. The space was nice, and the workers showed excellent customer service.

I love it. Only reason is that there is too many people. Not there fault tho. People like it so much.

Great after school care and childrens summer camp. I have sent my children here for the past 3 almost 4 years and I know all the staff, myself and my children love them. The staff do their best to accommodate to seldom tardiness of parents and are very good at reporting all occurrences worthy of reporting.Great job, keep it upCongratulations!

A nice park in the west of Nashville. I spent the independence day here. Every year at the time the hot chicken festival takes place here. A very nice event. Yeah, Im every year for independence day. I can only recommended it to everyone.

Always Nice clean and quite

Attended a graduation party in the community center. Its a great facility. The parking was a bit frustrating, there was an even in the park. They dont designate parking even if u rent out the center. But overall its a great space.

The staff and people were very friendly. A very nice place to visit.

This facility is awesome, it has a FREE indoor walking track and the other amenities are very low dollar ($3) to use like indoor swimming pool, weight room, dance classes etc. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help with questions or accommodations.

Love this park, its big and clean and not overly crowded They have an awesome youth center with gym equipment. Every city should have a park like this!!

Nice, clean park to go to. I like the basketball gym they have. Also they have a workout room as well. The only thing, you have to go during certain hours. They have pre-planned events for the kids throughout the week.

My kids love this park! Great water features, fun playground equipment, and they will play in the hollows for hours. Excellent place for imaginary play.

Went to hot chicken festival on July 4. Great fun! Free watermelon. Great chicken. Ice cream booth portions were too small and lemonade booth needed way more workers. Fun music on stage local folks

Very beautiful Park Ive been going here since the 1990s I originally learned Yang style Tai chi here, there is a swimming pool ping-pong a camp for children, Zumba,and so many other programs for the youth and the adults in the area.

Has basesball/soccer field. Picnic benches and playground.

Nice place to go work out at if you dont have a membership. They offer day passes have a inside track that you can run or walk on if its to hot or cold.

I like how you can set up different activities I like how they have different sections out for you to have baby showers meetings or whatever and its just a beautiful place

Its really a loving , peaceful place.

Metro Community Center East Park is my favorite. The workout machine selection is excellent. Price is better than the Y and it has an indoor pool. Downfall. Closes at noon on Saturday and not open Sunday. Til 8:30pm M-Thu and til 7:30pm on Friday. On Woodland and 6th street.

Matt was super helpful and the good folks espresso was rad.

Thus is a great local park. It has some a cool community center, good toddler park, cool climbing structure, and big open fields. There are also some ball fields.
