Having a small dog that isn’t brave enough to play with big dogs I am limited as to where I can take her. Centennial dog park has a great small dog dedicated section that always has a fair amount of traffic. The park is clean (nothing like taking your dog to the park only to have to sweep the area to clean up other dogs poop) and conveniently tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Parthenon tourism.

The dog park was awesome!! They were running around everywhere, but of course controlled. If you are there then pay the $6 to go into the Parthenon. It is probably the cheapest (but awesome) experience in Nashville. It is the only one in the entire world that is fully restored and built in scale. The bottom entrance is where holly he gift shop and ticket sales are. If you are around downtown I would def recommend visiting it. Everyone is friendly and the guides are free. They also over tours at 2 PM. Hope you enjoy the pics. This, the park, and the Parthenon are all very close together.

Great place to take your dogs to let them run and play. We had friends from out of town come in and it was a perfect place for them to get a break from the hotel room and let their dogs play for a while. The only negative is you have to watch no going when it is very full as many people do not watch their dogs and several fights break out.

This is one of the nicest parks Ive been to, even with the grounds upgrades they are doing at the moment. You can still enjoy a leisurely stroll under the trees amidst the flowers. Its so nice to be able to get out and walk and still feel safe during this pandemic.

This could and should be an amazing and impressive place. It really is to bad you feel dirty before you get to the entrance door, of the museum. Someone had discarded there chicken bones and had thrown them in front of the doorway. Knowone was interested in clean up also you must wear a mask, the ventilation is not the greatest. The employees need some help and instructions. Veterans discounts? They said no, to my son, then let someone else have one. Use the restroom before you go! Not very clean. Its really to sad.

Huge, beautiful park. The ground seem well kept with adequate parking. Theres a lot of young families, ppl walking the dogs, a water feature and the Parthenon. A must see for tourists. There was a lot of construction going on when we went. Looks long term. Arriving early helped with parking and crowds due to restrictions.

He always has a great time. Fairly clean park, they have onsite poop bags to pick up after your dog(s), benches and other seating areas. A few balls are scattered around as well as a few frisbees, some in better condition than others. Completely fenced in, no holes in the fencing from what I can see. They turn off the water fountains during the winter so you’ll have to bring water for your dog if you plan to stay long, they have water bowls there but I bring my own. Great free park to let your dog run around and be social.

Centennial dog park is just adjacent to centennial building and good to have dogs parked over there and good rest area of humans also with full of tree shades and a lake view near by. The greeneries or the lawn over there is very good and maintained very clean which is very much suitable to take rest. The lawn is completely clean and the tree shades give u nice ambience to take rest with full supply of oxygen. It has a very good view of the lake and if u r a selfie freak its a good place to take few pics for ur FB and Instagram post. Liked the place very much.

The Parthenon is supposed to be an exact replica of the original in Greece. Beautiful sculptures and other artwork all over. I went there years ago on a school field trip and was so impressed. I finally managed to return about 47 years later and am still in love with it. Centered in a gorgeous park in the middle of Nashville, TN it is surely worth the stop!

My dog slipped into the pond, the shallow end, which had small dead fish everywhere, he came out with Black crud all over him and he came out smelling of Sulfur. There was no where, I could see to wash him off. Also, I ran out of water to try and get some of the Ick off him. Thankfully, the water I did have, was enough to get him roll in grass and remove some of it. I had a blanket in my car that he rode home on and immediately bathed him, which took 3 times to get him clean.
