Fantastic museum! Stopped in here on a road trip from Indiana and was blown away by what appears on the outside to be just a tiny museum! You will not be disappointed if you stop in and check out the neat demonstrations and exhibits. Very cool place and glad we stopped in! Thanks for your hospitality and the tour!

Wow. We tripped upon this on a day it was free. A large steam engine, now powered by compressed air, drives a series of machines via overhead line shafting. Incredible collection of by-gone stuff. Several stories of history, preserved and well documented. Knowledgeable staff.Must see.

We went on one of the free community days! We could only visit the first floor due to lack of handicap accessibility BUT they are hoping to have an elevator by spring of 2019! Docents were very helpful and knowledgable! We learned a lot about how sand casting is done and saw how Brunswick bowling pin placement machines work! The displays are very well done! Who knew Muskegon was home to so many fine industries as well as the first Raggedly Ann doll!

Great museum with 90 exhibits. You can get a quick look, but can spend hours there if you want. Its a deep dive into the companies that made Muskegon from decades ago to now. Ask them to run the Brunswick bowling pin resetter. Its cool. Fantastic stop for people from the area or from out of town. Staff is fantastic. Will share with my #ToursAroundMichigan #GroupTours #CustomizedTours #PrivateTours #HistoryTours #LakeshoreTour
