Stairway down to the river. A gem in the rough. Not very crowded. A peaceful place.
A nice, uncrowded park with great access to watching the heron rookery during spring and early summer.
Nice park with access to the river. There are grills set up next to some of the picnic tables, so its nice to cook a meal.
Fun fun great trails

Like the campers great people
A small park with kids play area, walking paths along Mississippi river. Cool views of downtown skyline and lowry avenue bridge in the front. Looks gorgeous during blue hour.
The park was extremely unsanitary, there was barf on some of the equipment and garbage in several places.
Super relaxing clean park close to downtown Mpls and the Mississippi river is right there to look at or take some time to fish while relaxing
Nice place for a 2-3 year old. Wading pool is only 10in deep, new playground equipment and river access.
I rated this in the spring, when snow was still on the ground / loved it for its spaciousness and all the old trees spotted around the massive picnic area. Here it is, summer, and the park did not disappoint - lots of shade, sufficient open areas AND a splash pool for the kiddies! Nice little walking path, too, along the river bluff.
Nice park for sports, wading pool, short walks, childrens play area too
Restrooms at the park needs to be Clean better and outside and inside Doors are very dirty
This park is so nice its not packed and has trails by the river its git grills and tables aksi
Nice park with a lot of activities! Basketball court, nice ball fields, and good size playground!
The baby herons are still in the trees
Mississippi River overlook decks from the West edge of the park are relaxing places to sit and view the water and wildlife. Bird watchers can see Herrons fly to and from numerous nests on the island. Best herron views are across from the Northwest corner of the park. Nice (newer) playground equiptment for the kids. Ball fields for baseball, kickball, etc.
Nice park!
A place of something fun for the whole family! Seriously, whats your idea of outdoor fun? Nature, playground park, family time, sports, adventure? This place has it all! Basketball and maybe a tennis court?, jungle-jim for the kidos, a couple baseball fields, a few picnic tables and paved walking paths. All within two stones throw of the river! Which you walk down and see the city from a whole new perspective! I know its location may not be the best, but Ive been playing kickball there for years and theres never been the slightest bit of un-easyness... (if thats a word lol)
It wasnt buisy even on a perfect Saturday. Its small and is on the river where I caught some catfish. Minus one star cause the paved trail needs to be fixed in places.
Beautiful view
Nice open space, nice for kids and nice for hot summer days!
A nice park close to restaurant/bar and a liquor store. Right along the river.
It is Winter and covered with snow. Still I found this to be a delightful park and cant wait to see it in Spring!
Awesome neighborhood park! Great playground, baseball fields, picnic tables, charcoal grill, and walking paths down to the mighty Mississippi!
Not well upkept, but a pretty nice spot to go shoot photos near the river.
Cute. Lots of parking. Small, easy to keep an eye on kids.
We have a kickball league here. When we started, the park didnt have enough garbage cans and the bathrooms were locked, forcing many of us to use the bank of the Mississippi. However, after asking a friend of the team who is on the Park Board, we got a portajohn and garbage cans.
Good place for young kids, usually not too many people.
Great experience first time going
Beautiful Park.
