Great park to go have some recreation. We just went here for a evening walk but really enjoyed walking around. Like others have mentioned they have a lot of different grounds for different activities. I would hardly imagine it all being filled, so if you want to enjoy some sport chances are you might be able to find a spot without having to wait.

Great place for sports need better grass. Injuries can happen easier there

The basketball court, wade pool & grills are phenomenal. But the play grounds need to be updated, the aged wood looks like splinter city.

My favorite southwest neighborhood park very peaceful.

Fl
Review №19

Doesnt look like it has been mowed in a while. A lot of standing water around so the bugs were especially bad. Outside of that though, the facilities look like theyre maintained. Baseball and softball fields had new lines painted and bases were in good condition.

Seems like a nice park. Been once. Large, very active.

This is a great big park but it really isn’t groomed or cleaned well. It is very old. The playground is with wood and steel, so it gets very HOT and slivers for the little ones. There is plenty of space, but not groomed well. It could use some clean up and TLC.

Great walking trail! Heavy bike traffic, but easy connection to city.

This is a very nice expansive park with many varying fields and facilities. As with most Minneapolis parks, the grass is poorly kept up.

Excellent place for all of your sports. We have been playing on Mpls. Softball leagues for years and with 12 fields, kick ball fields and cricket pitches, never a dull moment here. The parking really stinks though, so if you have late games, be prepared to walk a few blocks to get to your field as it gets packed quick.

Quiet park with nice paths and lots of open space for playing. Only downside is it does border 394 so the southern side of the park does get some traffic noise.

It needs some updates. The bathrooms, a few drinking fountains, more seating, a few bbq grills could be installed for those who dont have one. Just a few updates.

Br
Review №41

Poorly maintained. Rain will make fields unplayable for days because of poor drainage. Baseball fields and dilapidated batting cages on west end are a joke.

Lots of space, grass and trees. Pretty much what Id expect from a park. No reason to give it less than 5. Come here with my fellow drone geeks to do our community flying. Want to check out several different types of drones and drone flying. Find us on Meetup.

A number of baseball/softball fields, plenty of open green space for pickup games of soccer, football, ultimate, or rugby. Or for the dog to run around. The park even has a spot to play cricket.

Great Park, pretty well taken care of. Fields are a little bumpy and hold water for a while, so playing baseball can be interesting running for a fly.

Love this park, but as a former resident of the area, its terrible to come home and have to park 3-5 blocks away from your own house. Between this park and the annual Bryn Mawr garage sales it can be a surprisingly noisy area!
