Went to this park for Thanksgiving, as my family members are very covid-19 conscious. We use one of the shelters that had a firefest in it. Built a fire and pizza followed by smores. The park was nice and of course on Thanksgiving it was not very crowded. We all had a good time I would recommend this park and I will likely come back to it for future family gatherings.

Great place for kids and pups. Several shelter areas and playgrounds which lets you keep your distance. Multiple access points to the creek along the trail.

I remember this park from early childhood. It has a few decent shelters and a horse area. Park roads are in serious need of maintenance.

Ive been coming to Sebald Park since i was a child. From searching for crawdads in the creek to having family picnics and gatherings. This will always be my first choice when planning any outdoor event.

Its just a nice big open park. With grills jungle gyms and trails.

We had fun, walked the trails by the creek, found a cool waterfall and searched for awesome rocks on the creek line. The kids loved it!

Well maintained park. Trails clearly marked and identified. Good portion is paved. It can be wet in places. May be a bit hilly for elderly. Open and windy in many areas

Beautiful, clean, and quiet. You can reserve the shelters and have a nice area to barbeque, sit and eat. No running water at the pit toilets, hand sanitizer was available.

Great spot for get-togethers with family, friends, or work functions. Lots of avenues to explore and parks for the kids. If you have some reason to get your friends and loved ones together I would absolutely recommend this place

Its got a nice little creek, trails, and lots of playgrounds for the small children who cannot yet comprehend how amazing nature is.

My family & I had a freaking blast!!! Not crowded just enough ppl to feel comfortable!!!

During these golden days of summer its so important to appreciate the beauty of nature, and this is a great park in which to do that! Whether you have a picnic under one of the shelters, go hiking, or just sit under a tree reading, youll be immersed in the sights and sounds of nature.

I love bringing my children here. Peaceful and lovely.

Great place for family outings

Fun place for fossil hunting, I found great hag (witches)stones. Nice place for family get togethers. Nice playground and picnic places.

Big, modern and quite - just right.

I had not been to Sebald Park since I was a teenager because I lived out of state for decades. But I enjoyed walking along the creek and looking at rocks and small fish. There are several picnic shelters and childrens playgrounds. It is a nice natural environment to visit. There is a playground located at each of the shelter sites. Trails lead along the perimeter of the park winding through the woods.

Great park. Tons of space. Multiple playgrounds, walking trails and horse trails. Having it connected to elk Creek makes it even better.

Went early on a Sunday, very quite and peaceful! My dog loves walking the creek,especially on a hot summers day!!

Sunny but cold out. Nice to sit and relax in your car and eat a sandwich. Wear a coat if outside though. Very few people at the park.

Great park to visit, multiple playgrounds and shelters to grill out at. Free to get in if you have a park pass and even if you dont rarely anybody at the gate to check your pass. Well maintained mowed often. Several hiking trails and a nice creek where you can skip rocks. Horse trails as well if you have horses it is yet another reason to check the park out.

Nice small Park great for walking the dogs bike ride or taking hikes on the trails. Cant recommend it for picnics because there is not enough Ranger presents and the majority of the time you go there you have idiots with their trunks or hatches open and their radios blaring so you cant actually relax and enjoy the day but is nice and peaceful if you stay away from the main areas or on the trails

I really wish the trails were marked and they were really muddy but it was nicely shaded and good access to the river.

Sebald park is a very visually appealing park. But what it lacks is clear trail markers and a decent map at the entrance on how to even get there. Now this doesnt make it a bad park for hiking or biking but not a go to place either. Its a great option for during the week when you dont want to make the full commute to a better park. I travel to these kind of parks with a mountain bike and there was never any clear indication what trail I was allowed on, let alone to find it.

Awesome park to enjoy space. Never too crowded. Several shelters. Great childrens playground with dino dig, slide built into a hill and even a play area under the shelter for small kids. A favorite of my grandkids.

I love this place...been coming here since I was a child now I bring my children. Very disappointed in people and their trashy ways. It was very trashy here today please clean up after yourselves so we can keep enjoying this place for years to come !
