The church is absolutely stunning mass was beautiful but I couldnt really understand the priest too much due to a heavy accent

My maternal grandfather and his man friends built the church which is an exact twin to the same named church in Millie , Sicily Italy. Such passion the builders of the church displayed for their native homeland which they expressed within their new homeland within Middletown, Connecticut! I am proud to be one in the family of Faracis.

Beautiful strong congregation of parishioners with deep roots to the community. Hard working volunteer base of families who love and enjoy their church family. Religious education is very good. An abundance of social and faith events to keep everyone, all ages, happy and holy :)

Ebab for Catholics this place is allotmind you Im Catholic Ive always been Catholic Ive grown up Catholic Irish Catholic which I actually think does make a difference at this place it is almost entirely incredibly Italian and I felt more judgment than i expect to receive from St Peterand this is not just Catholic churches this is a problem with Christianity in general there was a lot of judgment if you dont fit their personal image of what a Christian looks like theyre going to receive this treatment its not right but people like me Ive come to expect it and know how to deal with it the country dealing with this in Christian HxC punk bands with gay people/adicts you know your run-of-the-mill dregs of society the kinds Jesus hung out with and dont even get me started on John the Baptist that dude was rad but anyway those are the dudes that had me in towand you know what that is not none of it does not negate your eligibility of being a Christian thought the kind of things that I experience such an extreme degree at this church are the same kind of things that can scare people away from Faith from God our judgment and disposition should have no power over but do. and yeah I guess you probably came here to talk about the architecture blah blah blah its a beautiful building its a tight-knit community one that I live probably closer than 90% of the people who go to that church but I apparently am not welcome at Christianity is as much cultural thing as it is a religion same as Judaism Muslims and I expect any other old world thinking so before I continue any longer cuz I did not intend to say any of this -I will say this if youre coming to look at a Google review of a Catholic Church then chances are you are a Catholicand it is a incredibly impressive and beautiful structure one that was brought over piece by piece from Italy and as an artist I can appreciate the craftsmanshipbut as a Christian and a Catholic all I can say is keep these things in mind if you see somebody that doesnt fit your mental image of what a Catholic should be instead of sending them some glaring side eye myalaska try to make them feel welcome encourage what theyre doing cuz thats what the whole point is I understand this is a cultural thing I went to a predominantly Irish Catholic Church and people will proud theres no doubt about that but you can she proud of your people/Community without alienating someone who made really need the message the embrace of the community maybe okay I need to stop try to take this in mind it can make a huge difference in someones life and many peoples lives-God bless

Ive had a baptism for one of my sons here, received my own sacraments of marriage, baptism and confirmation here. The most picturesque and enchanting of the 4 catholic churches in Middletown, CT. The basement/rec hall is huge and very adequate for gatherings and parties. Saint Sebastian Festival is a staple of the community.

I miss going here. Right in Middletown - great service and good community.

I went to the Sunday 5 pm mass and get stranded.Neither the priest nor the church hier took me to Meriden.
