What a great experience to go with your children. They play and have fun , and so do you. I did my own role playing as well. Go with enough time to be able to do everything since the activities require time investment. You will have a blast and your kids will appreciate.Recomended as a must if traveling to Miami with the family

Take your bank of America cards with you. It may help you get discounted or free tickets. Ask the cashiers if you qualify for any discount.Great place for kids between 3-8 to have fun. Older than 8 may not enjoy it as much. They could have love shows which is nice.Parking is $2 per hour and plenty space available. See pictures to get sense of what to expect. Youll probably spend about 2 hours or so

Such a fun experience! There are activities for all ages (2-10 is probably the sweet spot though). Sensory friendly areas, and enough to make a half day out of the trip (morning until lunch time). Admission is fairly priced in my opinion for the activities available. If you are planning on going make sure you walk through all the areas of each room- there are fun things tucked away in every corner. Made for a great family outing while visiting Miami!

Another awesome museum for children in Miami. I feel this was aimed more towards younger children than the Frost science museum, and my toddler LOVED it. To the point were he was a bit overwhelmed and we had to go and have a snack/drink break in the cafe area. The cafe area is very basic and small, soda drinks, cookies, ice cream etc so bring your own. High chairs available. Theres different sections to this museum with a huge amount of themed games, activities, education and/or climbing equipment in each-pirates and pirate ship, vet office (loads of different stuffed animals in a vet office set up and grooming parlour), emergency services (fire engine, police bike and ambulance!), construction, cruise ship and seaside, music (orchestra room, giant piano, karioke room), arts and crafts, exercise and fitness (loads of kids gym equipment, strength testers and a maze) and many more. Theres music and sounds and lights everywhere you go. The staff are all very interactive and friendly. A very good gift shop too. We had such a good time here (and I mean we as myself and my husband also enjoyed everything ). Wish wish wish we had something like this in London. Whats era youre kid is in to or obsessed with, theres something here for them.

The place is nice for young children, but I feel that they need staff around the museum to help the children interact with the areas because it seems like a dress-up playground instead of a museum. Also, when purchasing the tickets they dont explain to you that there are packages and other things they just ask if youre a florida resident. Since children dont see what we see, they just have fun and I guess that is what matters.

We were in town visiting and just happened to catch the free monthly Friday program. It was packed and my kids honestly didnt get to have as much fun as I wish they could have. There was a lot of kids and parents and it was even hard to walk around and enjoy what all this unique spot has to offer. I could see going back another time, spending the money to enter and have more quality time with the exhibits and my children. Still worth a visit for anyone looking to do something family oriented.

This place is so much fun. We went there with our 15 month old daughter and she loved it! I think it would be fun for kids up to around the age of 7. Although $20 pr person (including small children) is a little steep, I would definitely go there again. After a couple of hours we hadn’t seen everything yet, but she was partied out in the best way. The whole experience is beautifully designed with great variety.

Not only its overpriced, but the city will also rob your money in the parking lot. It is a head in parking only and there are barely any signs, at least not on the 3rd row where we parked. Then the officer will tell you there was a sign at the entrance, which you might miss if youre watching for kids running around. I drove around the parking lot to see if there were in fact signs around and I only saw in the first row. There should be a sign at every PaybyPhone sign. Then once inside, you wont find hand sanitizer anywhere which is unacceptable for a kids museum. I am certain we will not be coming back or recommend it to anyone. Kids will have fun, but it will be a 2hrs max visit and just once in a lifetime.

Great place to go with your kids to keep them busy at least for 4-5 hours, you can easily spend here that much time. We used to visit with our son who is 2 years and 2 month and he was really happy and it was a lot of fun for him. The only one reason I give 4 stars to that place is there are no other place instead of Subway to feed your kids, I think it should be more variations of food, and Subway is not the healthy way to feed the toddlers.

The museum has a lot of opportunities to learn and enjoy role playing. My kids love it. It has an auditorium where theatrical shows are presented through the day, an art studio where the kids can do small art projects, a rock climbing wall and many role playing areas where kids can learn about engineering, health, money, emergency services, health, green energy, Florida, etc. Keep checking for the transitory exhibitions.

Theres 2 levels of fun-filled interactive games and learning tools. They even have a mock Publix & Baptist Health Center ER.I definitely would recommend this place, especially on a rainy day when kids cant play outside.

This place was fun. There were a few exhibits that were not working, and there were no pirate maps available which was a big part of the pirate exhibit. The price was really high, especially for bigger families. We were able to make a sensory snow craft and do some yarn crafts. The people who helped with these crafts were very patient and kind. The gift shop is crazy over priced which I only know because we has to ask the clerk any time we needed a price. Nothing was marked.

In comparison to other museums of sciences, they charge extra for other games (like feel the air of a tornado)3. Related to point one, let’s put the example of the Publix supermarket, everything was a mess. Nothing in place, kids could not even play properly.4. They have a game with a slide, that simulates the ocean with big metallic stairs with not enough protection. Also they have many stairs

Miami Childrens Museum is really for small children, under 7-8 years old may be interesting. And the word Museum in the name is totally misleading as it is not a museum rather more like childrens (under 7) indoor activity / play area 2 stories building. For older kids it can be very boring. And charging accompanied parents same $22/person who has not much to do except watch children play is expensive. On a rainy day during our visit to Miami, we went there with our 8 years and 12 years old children. For 12 years old nothing to do, for our 8 years old was not that interesting.

My girls enjoyed the simulated publix store which had products that you can scan on the register and even a deli-sandwich section. The second floor has a small boat that you can play with the steer and fish from it. A simulated cruise ship and a fitness section for kids, which is fun.The bathrooms were clean when I went. Should you be hungry theres an onsite Subway. Theres also a small novelty store.Theres a rock wall for climbing for an additional costs not part of your admission, a tornado simulator for about $2, and an awesome play to watch.
