Great place for kids and adults, so many things to do and one day was not enough for sure. My 5 y.o. daughter enjoyed going through the stations and earning stamps, I enjoyed scenic views of our galaxy and, of course, the aquarium! The exhibition about human bodies was also an awesome experience for us both

This is a nice waterfront park in the heart of the city next to American Airlines Arena. There is a nice walkway along the water and plenty of seating in the shade. It is just off the busy Bayshore Drive and worth a stop to enjoy some peace if it is en route or you are in the area.If you left your purse on the bench with a cell phone in it, I found it and feel free to reach out.

Was here visiting Miami with family today, looking for something to do and someplace to go. Found Golden State Park! What a great place! Its very big, and drivable, walk able, full of easy trails, bison to view, carousel that might be open again one day, beautiful Grove of trees with paths, lots of green areas! Free! I will definitely come back here again. Very soothing and clean.

Great family park on the water overlooking Government Cut and the Cruise Ship piers, with the Miami skyline just south. You can also purchase drinks and snacks at the museum store. For parking use the garage at the museum, which equates to a lot less walkng back to street meter parking. Well worth the few extra bucks in parking costs. Excellent place for pictures!

I was for sure impressed with the architecture, what a pretty impressive buildings and location. I was dissapointed that for the price of entry, I agree very reasonable, so many areas were closed or malfunctioning when they advertise they were open. coffee shop needs definitely improvement, no cash, only a few item available and on top close early. they need a boost in merchandise and a bit in the customer service. employees are all mia, hidding in corners, no security staff anywhere. however I will recommend this place, it can be great with a little work. is tough times though but us also the holiday season.

And is right along the bike path so you can stroll up that as well. If you desire. Very clean nice park with good views. Also has a childrens area however I dont know if that is open yet, but the rest of the park is and it great

Absolutely beautiful area in downtown Miami! Very accessible by the metro! first time Ive been down there and first time taking the metro. Everything was very nice. Went to the Frost museum which was fabulous! The view of the park from the top of the museum was breathtaking. You can see all the cruise ships in the port. Wonderful place to visit if youre in the Biscayne area.

This is a very safe, well kept, clean, and beautiful park. It also provides Uber electronic scooters you can rent. You can stroll along enjoying the impeccable green grass, sky high palm trees along side the Miami River. The views of the high rise buildings are phenomenal to look at. You can admire the visual skyline of Miami up close and personal. The architecture and lit up buildings definitely catch your eye as you stroll along the park. This park is dog friendly and you tend to see the local dog owners walking through it at all times of the day or night. I truly felt safe walking through the park even at peak hours of the night. Stop and sit under a palm tree and enjoy the Miami warm weather. Get some vitamin D under the sunny sky, sit under the shade or enjoy the stars at night. Definitely, a peaceful experience at any time. A must do if your in the area.

I was impressed by view in Maurice A. Ferré Park formerly known as Museum Park before. Its a public, urban park in downtown Miami. As I know from my research, the park opened in 1976 as Bicentennial Park on the site of several slips served by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad. Every year this small park visiting around 45000 people. Nice reactiational place.

We came here on a Monday so there was no shuttles at all, and the De Young museum was closed too. We werent interested in the science museum so we just walked around a bit. The rose garden was so small with no blooming roses, and we were just too tired to walk more. Some fountains were dry so they werent too pretty to look at. So basically coming here was a complete waste of time for me, I shouldve just gone back to hotel to take a nap! At least sister enjoyed it and took many photos.

Much smaller than I expected but I assume that’s just the New Yorker in me. This is a great museum for kids overall given how many interactive activities are available for them. Unfortunately we don’t have any of our own. Scientific information was a bit too simplified for us. Also, I don’t understand why information needs to be presented in both English and Spanish. I know that the Latino community is big in Florida but it felt confusing going through all exhibits and seeing both an English and Spanish description.

Downtown needs more green! This park may be barebones but its got a pretty decent view on the east side. There is a sandbox over by the east side too, i imagine some of the locals probably use it as a tanning pit when they dont feel like driving to the beach.Aside from the sandbox youve got your choice of a tree dense shaded area or an open grassy area. The grass is good ol miami grassifidicus greenicus (not any sort of fancy itchy foreign grass) which is really nice to roll around in.Reason i traveled to this park was to do yoga. It was nice and quite, not too many people running around, and you get that nice seabreeze thats smells of fish farts and a hint of diesel. I would definitely recommend it as a yoga spot for small groups! I know ill definitely be going back for some.

I enjoyed myself. I had a private moment where I was just able to EXHALE. I live a very public life. But sometimes I need to have contemplative and introspective moments. Park is large and green with pockets of accumulated ponds of dirty water. Its best when sunlight is out although park attendants are overpowering new park visitors. Its better now. Two years ago police cars and aggressive staff badgered dog owners. While the homeless lay half dressed or under covers, sound asleep or wander where to find a niche to sleep.
