Due to Covid, I had the pleasure to have the place almost to myself. It was beautiful and magestic. Such a great space and exhibitions! 10/10 must see.

Was smaller than I expected. The featured curated galleries on display were excellent. Their permanent collection is impressive as well. A great rewarding experience.

The pieces can be challenging but the staff are very kind and helpful. Parking is super easy. I recommend a walk around the park before or after as parking is a flat rate of $15.

Cool place. I recommend to visit. I think it will be pleasant even for not big art lovers. The price is not that great. Very cool location, cool water views. I hope you enjoy this place. This is a combination of art and beautiful appearance, simply not farther in words.

I enjoyed visiting the Perez Art Museum. A different atmosphere and enjoyable.

I love this museum to go with my kid. The views are also amazing and the location is very nice. You can spend the morning at the museum and then have a walk by the gardens next to It. Very friendly staffing and their cafe VERDE, has really good food.

It’s surprisingly small, but it’s a worthy exhibit to say the least! The art gallery is very average but everything else was really fun and exciting! The outside view is also wonderful! Wouldn’t mind going back a second time.

Wonderful experience! Loves the new exhibits, very intresting. We spent about 2 hours walking around and reading the artist info.In regards to covid safety measures: number guest is limited and you buy your ticket for a specific time. Security/staff to limit number of people in rooms as needed, direct flow of traffic and enforced mask wearing.They also had automatic hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the entire Museum.

Very nice museum in downtown Miami. Loved the eclectic sense of style. Very well maintained and a nice break from the usual dinner and drinks vibe we’re always on in Miami. Definitely visit!

Did a one class session with my wife as a birthday present. Actually ended up being a lot more fun than i expected. The instructor was great. Cant have too high expectations for what you make in one class but the instructor helps out so you can take something worth while home. You can bring in beer or wine as well and definitely recommend this.

I was really disappointed with the the collection on display. I bought tickets ahead of time only to find out none of the Latin American art was on display. This was really disheartening.

Surely there are better museums, because this museum is so lacking in real art. I have been to art museums all over the U.S. and also some in Europe, and I rate this the worst. The best exhibit is a group of miniature boats hanging from the lobby ceiling. Beyond that, one large wall painting, a film about African Americans and the While the Dew is Still on the Roses werent boring or awful. Some decent photos as well.To be fair, Im not a fan of some contemporary art. My feeling is if I have to read an explanation about why a work is good, then its likely not good. A single photo of two or three books leaning on a pice of square wood did not evoke any emotion in me except to think who is the curator of this museum and why was this piece chosen?There was the seemingly obligatory mirror image geometric painting in two colors and the painting of straight colored lines, both of which almost anyone could have painted. I think the artists on display had become famous somehow in the past, and now are able to create something facile and call it art. I thought this was a waste of time.

Perez has a small permanent collection with the most notable artist being Robert Rauschenberg. I visit this museum often to see the rotating exhibits. They always have a diverse mix of artists with varied mediums and points of view.

This is such a small art museum. The entrance is the best entrance ever!! The architect is worth seeing. The art exhibits are meh. The view is amazing. And the hanging plants are great!

Maybe I have a high standard for art, maybe I just dont know how to appreciate some of the modern art, personally I dont think there are many artworks worth paying to see at this place. To me some of the artworks look like graduate projects of art college students and some are just ...weird. This place does have very nice view, though.

Very nice. Love all the space and views of the outside but the security inside are a little too strict in regards to touching the pieces. Sometimes one was to touch oil on canvas to see how it feels, bit they wont even allow it for a split second. There were pieces of old article inside a class table with absolutely no access to touching them but they wouldnt even allow to touch the glass top to point something out. But this us understandable. The parking and gift shop were extremely expensive.

Beautiful architecture, land and scenery. Modern spacious structure perfect for displaying art. Unfortunately the art collection is curated poorly, most of the pieces try to make a political statement and there is too much aggression in the artworks. Quite frankly, the small amount of art on display for such a large structure was weak. A few good pieces, a lot of street art and this is no Moma.

Amazing Art! The exhibit was all over the place. Artist who could compare to the best and creative ideas you would not believe. The use of the most ordinary materials to the most expensive is astounding. Great museum store as well. The views are amazing and it is in a great park near the Frost museum. The art is mind blowing. Definitely a must see museum!!!

Well flowing galleries, clean and bright. Fantastic collections featured with Caribbean artists at the moment. George Segals Abrahams Farewell to Ishmael is absolutely breathtaking.

One of the places in Downtown Miami you want to rinse and repeat is the Perez Museum. With incredible views and 2 floors worth of your bohemian time. Perez Museum stands as a cultural icon for the party city that Miami is. Safe for kids and people from all over the world you can find art pieces from unique artist. Every month something changes so, perfect excuse to go again. Outside you will find a gourmet restaurant and with one of the most gorgeous views of the Miami Cruise Port. A most see.

Beyond the quality as a museum the location and its eloquent architecture make this place a special place in the Downtown Miami.

Super friendly service, and a well maintained place. The artwork display is fair though. I like the idea how they have more importance to local artists and cultural history displayed with greater significance, which is exactly what artists like me are looking for. For instance, the dedicated display of luminous pink map artwork of the surrounded islands. Thats something I found intriguing among the displays.Unfortunately, theres not enough content for the bucks.

The Perez Art Museum Miami is an awesome art experience. I really enjoyed and appreciated the variety and many different displays that they had available. The building is beautiful and I like the architecture and how everything is organized and later out. The art made me think and I like doing that. I also really like the outdoor area overlooking the water with swings. This is one of the best art museum experiences I have ever had.

I have been here a couple of times and I always enjoy the experience. Its not only about seeing the artwork but the building and its surrounding itself is a work of art. The hanging gardens, the cool swing chairs out side, the view of the bay, and the architecture inside and out. Definitely take advantage of promotions since it is a bit pricey for some at normal cost.

Loved that place right on Government Cut with a view of the cruise ships port and Venetian Causeway. Besides the modern art inside, the gardens are a great place to hang out if the temperature is not too hot.

Great place to have weddings or just a corporate event. The views were great and also some fine art.What I like the most is the irrigation system that they have outside. Forgot to take pictures of it. Careful of the carwash thingy, as its full of germs.

I Love coming here and looking at the art work they have ,beautiful exhibits, a nice view of the city. The environment is for familys, a date, or just tourist in town with some locals. The have very polite staff

The museum itself and collection wasnt as impressive as the surroundings outside. Go and enjoy the swing outside of the museum, take a stroll along the waterfront amidst all the palm trees. Thats all free.

Worth the visit but don’t expect to be blown-away. Try to get some sort of discounted fee if possible, though. It’s a little pricey for its size/variety. Also, Bank of America card holders get in for free (as we were told at the ticket counter, I don’t remember seeing this info on their website). So if you have that, make sure to bring it and present it when purchasing your ticket.I especially appreciated their Latin-American and African/African-diaspora collection, which unfortunately isn’t something I see very often in museums. That said, the museum is much smaller than I imagined and frankly, I found the narrative somewhat limited.BEWARE: parking was hellish, even though their car park is far from cheap. We were let in but given 10min to find a stop or would be charged 12$ regardless. We struggled but managed to find one. Use public transportation or uber if you can.

Still feels like it’s missing a few things but a great experience. Miami desperately needed something like this. Would like to see the museum work with others to get some great pieces in here to attract attention. Some of the art has no story and is just plain boring. Still giving it 4 due to what they do have and the amazing location and views.

Must Go in Miami. Very interesting art installation indoor and outdoor. Very bright, bold and beautiful artist’s displays to study. It was clean and quiet, architecture is beautiful as well as the gift shop. We had an amazing afternoon.

This is a really neat building(the only reason I am giving this 3 stars) it is worth the trip just to see the architecture and to walk around the outside. Plenty to see and do without paying admission. The art inside was nothing special the day we visited however I am sure that they rotate exhibits. The most unsettling thing was the execessive number of security guards in every room. There were 2-3 guards in every room and most of them were socializing with each other without concern for the visitors to the museum.

This is such a beautiful place to hang out with friends or the significant other! We went on a windy day so it was awesome! Wheather you walk around the park or sit on the swings ...its the perfect place to chill! There is a resturant inside the museum. We didnt go inside the museum though.

I love this museum. Always visit when I am nearby. The exhibits are amazingly well curated and moving. Love the building and layout plus the gift shop is great!

Wonderful Museum!!! Have been several times. I love that the art work changes. The pieces are fascinating and thought provoking. And the actual museum is amazing. The setting on Biscayne Bay is spectacular. Not to be missed if you are in Miami and are a lover art.

This was absolutely a delightful place. The energy of artists, creativity, and inclusivity permeates throughout -- and I found so many people (members, students, staff) to be so helpful.

Great architecture, building literally wreathed with greenery overlooking the water. Free access every 2nd Saturday with attractions for kids. I suggest parking elsewhere ($$$;-( and spending a morning or afternoon in the area...

We saw some great stuff! Every local & tourist should take a day to come see the museum & walk the gardens. It was a day well spent.Tip: the first Thursday of every month is free!

Had a great time here. Im not really much of an art fan but everything in here was very interesting. They had quite a few rooms downstairs and upstairs of different artwork, a bank of america room with some type of video. Building and layout is very nice. Loved the swings outside and the view of cruise ships. Definitely would recommend

Just wow the aquarium is amazing and my children loved every minute of it. Many exhibits there was there for 4 hours and didnt see everything! Lots of money and planning put into this place and it shows.

What an experience! So much to take in... we spent almost 5 hours walking about and taking in all the different displays, paintings, sculptures and just such unique expressions of creativity. There is something for everyone, 8 to 108. Inside on 2 levels, and outside all around the property. VERY enjoyable.

Im an avid museum goer, especially art, and was a bit disappointed with PAMM. This museum is stricter than any other Ive been to with regards to proximity to the pieces. Some have actual barricades or floor markings telling you how close you can get. I understand wanting to protect the pieces, but Ive never seen that anywhere else Ive been and it made it hard to see some of the art.There was a nice older latina guard who was knowledgeable and taught my son some things about the art. However, when I went to a room with neon light work, I asked the female guard at the door if there was a moment when all of the pieces would be lit at once since they were only lighting one at a time. She rudely and firmly told me I dont know. How do you not know if youve been standing right there?The outside of the museum is beautiful and has a few fun installments which make for great photo ops. Glad to have seen it but I wont be back. Norton Art Museum or the Wolfsonian are more worth re-visiting in my opinion.

The building is beautiful. I could hang out outside the building for hours. The exhibits were really interesting and inspiring... Im a designer. I will definitely visit again.

Nice museum in Miami went on the 2nd Saturday of the month and it’s free . All the museums are in the area they have a cafe to eat with a nice view.

View of the causeway and port at a night time event. Go at your own pace to take in the exhibitions. The 30 minute guided tour is too fast. On busy days finding parking can be stressful. One of the nicest views of Miami and from the top of the science museum.

PAMM is ine of the stronger initiatives to allocate Miami into the art scene in US. To be honest its permanent exhibitions aren’t spectacular, however you always can count with a temporary exhibition which will blow your head.

The selection of Latina American Artist is fantastic. Contemporary art and interactive experiences for the family. It is located in a gorgeous setting in downtown Miami. Definitely a great experience for all the family. We celebrated my fathers birthday taking him for a tour of the city in a private van and this place was a joy for everybody.

The museum does have quite a few interesting pieces, but if you have been to many modern art museums, you will likely feel a little let down. Its $25 per person for the entrance fee. My friend and I took a little over 2 hours to go through the entire museum. We took our time looking at the exhibits and reading the descriptions. It is a beautiful building in a great location, but the price is too high for what youre getting.

The building is really awesome. It’s got these awesome tube structures that are full of plants, it’s right on the water, and it’s very modern and cool. The restaurant is really nice too. It has a great view of the causeway and the water. The food is really good, and the drinks are nice too. The art is very mixed. They have some great pieces, the boats in the lobby, the blue arch in the front of the building, a few others, but they had a lot of bad pieces too. Still, definitely worth a visit I just wish they would step up their selection a bit!

Privileged location. Amazing and refreshing ocean view. The exhibitions are not always the best, but the terrace facing Miamis blue ocean worth the visit. Kids love this place...great for families and pictures. Parking fee is $12 per hour and $4 each additional hour. There is a Lounge coffee place by the Terrace and the Museums entrance fee is free the first Thursday of the month.

Magnificent building and architecture, if you are into that type of interest then definately reccomend. The views towards the bay are world class and there are a few things to do without having to get into the museum itself. The museum was closed for renovations so cant attest to the quality of their ongoing exhibitions.

Was a lovely break from the rest of our bachelorette trip. A small group of us broke off for a mental rest (and a cool down). It was a perfect choice. Thoughtful curation and a nice cafe and gift shop.

My boyfriend and i went recently. it has really beautiful photo spots outside. i wish there was more! but overall great experience.

The collection is awesome. The architecture is beautiful. I visited the museum, got tired, had a coffee and took a quick nap in one of the chaise longue looking at the sea and then proceeded to the second floor. Amazing museum experience in Miami!

Finally a museum in Miami that speaks to our culture. Love the rotating installments and all the improvements theyve made to the facility. This is hands down a great place for young art enthusiasts as well as season Met/Guggenheim/Field House museum lovers alike. Hopefully it continues to grow and engage the community.Side note, weekend Yoga on the boardwalk is never a bad thing ;)

This museum is very modern looking, which is fitting because it is a modern art museum. The installations were great (even if some were a bit strange...but it IS modern art) and the value for admission price made for a very worthwhile trip. Also, this is next to the science museum so if you have a long day, it’s worth stopping in.

Beautifully laid out. The architecture of the building to the use of all spaces are imaginative.

The exhibitions and selections from the permanent collection are interesting, but Id say the building itself is even better. I enjoyed exploring both the outside and inside of the museum. I especially like the way plants are incorporated with the architecture.

Great date place. Go to second floor enjoy the swings , grab a beverage at the cafe, watch the activity over Biscayne Bay. Love the architecture as well the exhibits. Prior to entering, walk through the blue tubes located on the westside.

Probably the best art institution in Miami. Gorgeous building, nice fun staff, doesnt look like a traditional museum inside either, lots of windows. Theres always interesting exhibits and they stay for a while. Its nice to see local artists in here as well as Afro-Caribbean and Hispanic contemporary art. They have a fund which allows them to show women artists more often than any other museum in the country. Do not miss PAMM if youre traveling! First Thursday and second Saturday of the month are always free.
