Great place to go and shoot some rounds. William was our instructor he explained everything good and made us feel comfortable with the guns. I will definitely go back soon.

Unique experience if you are coming from countries where guns are banned. On top of that, its close to downtown Miami at that! For people from countries where guns are allowed, its nothing special. Its just a gun range in a small building. There were many choices for guns but I chose to shoot p90, vector, AK 47, and shotgun. Waiting time for me was short and during that time, I was able to look at the exhibitions and also hold onto multiple guns. Price was on high side even with military discount. You have to choose three guns to shoot or three choices. Meaning you can double up ammo on one gun and that would count as 2 choices. Also if you were planning to shoot more guns or add more ammo, ask for it once you get into the range. They will give you 20% off after your three choices. After the shoot, you get to keep your target and you are given a coin. You can also rent go pro for about $30 but you can also film it using your phone. But I recommend doing both if you want a cool souvenir. Highly recommended. *Military personnel gets discount!* I got discount as Canadian soldier.

Incredible! The experience shattered all of our expectations. The front desk staff are very courteous and helpful with any questions. Making reservations could not have been easier.Our instructor Fabian was a gem. For each gun we used Fabian told us the history, the design purpose and current organizations using the guns. He was so informative and also told us the difference between the gun sizes and uses. He even told us about the other guns that we were not shooting that day.The experience itself was really exciting. The facility is clean and the Museum is such a fun part of the trip. I enjoyed the history of various guns and there is quite a nice collection of WWII era guns. I had brought a friend from the UK and he absolutely loved it. You even got to keep the target and get a commemorative coin of the experience.Cant wait to come back!

I’ve been a member for sever years. The quality and customer service never lets up. All instructors are great. I’ve worked w Nick; Franklin the manager is always very welcoming. The gun smith and related services are top notch.

Definitely a must if you are in the Miami area. I took my kids (18& 24yr old) here and it was my first time as well. Our weapons expert was Will. He first gave us a background on how to shoot the guns, and he was also super knowledgeable and all the history of the guns where they originated from and how the Army would use them. I really had this fear of guns and slowlyThroughout my experience I got a little more comfortable.It was literally the best experience ever absolutely loved it I would go back

Amazing experience!!! Took hubby here for his birthday while in Miami....The entire place is awesome. They have a small museum and viewing area with so many replicas that you can touch and get a feel for. The staff is super pleasant and very professional. The “menu” is varied. You can pick from many guns and the overall experience is one to remember. Now to the good parts..Max, our assigned instructor was the bomb. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk too, even funny without trying at times. It was my first time ever shooting, even holding a gun and my husband’s 3rd or 4th time in a gun range. None the less, he treated us equally, explained everything thoroughly and with ease and made sure we were enjoying our experience. We both had lots of fun but also felt very safe. Max even gave my husband a free round and additional machine gun in honor of his birthday. Honestly my favorite part was that he explained everything but allowed us to do our own thing, making the experience our very own. I Would 100000% recommend him, the place and the entire experience. Don’t hesitate, just go for it!!!

Not really my thing, but a good place for gun fetishists. Shoot a few round with a gun or a lot of them with a machine gun. The selection of weqpons are good, the actual range is somewhat short. Not ideal for heavy machinery or sniper rifles. Low on extras, such as moving targets and video screens.

If youre a shooter, dont bother going here. Its a tourist trap and a place for new shooters. You cant use your own reloads. They force you to buy their expensive reloads. Parking is a pain and the lines are long. Save your time and money and go to Firing Line, Angeles, or Oak Tree.

Just amazing! This is a first for us ... No doubt the place to be in Miami. If you did not do it ... its unpardonable!We had a top trainer who taught us everything before embarking on the big bath. If you have trouble with English, no big deal, they make efforts to make themselves understood. You have the choice between several packages and the possibility of adding weapons to the map. After the shooting, we went for a walk in the war museum 14-18, 40-45, Vietnam ... At the top !!.

I just recently went to this place to celebrate my birthday. First off let me tell you about how clean this places you walk in its sparkling clean and has the best apparel ever. But forget the apparel they had every type of machine gun ever that you want to shoot. Our weapons expert was Will. He showed me how to load every single machine gun directed my every move and I got every shot spot on because of his guidanceIt was literally the best experience ever appsolutely loved it. Because it was my birthday I was able to shoot the 50 cal on the house and that was very cool of them. If you want a great experience shooting machine guns this is the place to go!

I took my sister for her birthday. She had the best time of her life. Even though I didnt shoot I also enjoyed every moment. Her instructor Brian was so cool and very knowledgable. He was also very easy going and knew his stuff. The place is a great place even if its just for visiting the gun museum because they have so many varieties of guns and they let you know the history behind them. At the end of your visit you get a cool souvenir and you keep your target of course. By far the best gun museum/shooting range Ive ever been to. Going with back hubby.

We were a group of 10 guys from France, first timers with guns for most of us. First the museum is really nice, tons of weapons you can hold, guns, rifles, RPGs, you name it. And you can almost shoot with them all.We were conducted for a 5mn speech from our instructor Nick, the guy’s just great. He gave us the minimum instructions and we were ready for the shooting stand.We tried many different guns, handguns, automatic , machine gun ...For each gun we shot Nick was giving some very interesting background historic like what the weapon was made for, who use it, pros and cons, frequency, balance ... we had a lot of fun hearing his stories, and very professional.I only wish the targets could go further away than 40ft, especially since once of us shot a 50 cal sniper rifle.Loved the experience, will definitely recommend !

I was visiting Florida from Canada and decided to try this place out. It was truly a fantastic experience. As someone who has never fired a gun before I wasnt quite sure what to expect but my instructor Fabian made sure I was comfortable with the weapons and able to handle them in a safe manner, and also took the time to educate me on what I was firing. Ill definitely be back next time I visit and I highly recommend it!

I had a blast here! Our instructor Brian was awesome! He was very knowledgable about all of the guns. It was my very first time at a gun range and he explained everything perfectly and made us feel very comfortable. The museum was really cool too, there were so many different guns displayed. We got a bunch of great laughs and would certainly return next time we are in Miami!

This was the best experience for my boys during our entire trip to Downtown Miami. The boys had not done this before and they absolutely loved it. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They keep you instructed every step of the way. The boys had Fabian as a instructor and he was absolutely amazing with the children. He offered guidance, support and praise to be confident during the activity. Both boys receive their target and a medallion that was not expected but so much appreciated. You guys are the best, thank you. The museum part is well appointed and very interesting. I will highly recommend this to anyone. It’s clean, fabulous staff, family friendly and value for money.

Awesome place. Weapon museum and shooting range. First time shooting with pistol and rifles, but with the helpfull staff, it was easy. You can choose a set of weapons to fire them single round and full auto.

Didnt get to shoot in the range but the museum portion was nice. They had every gun you could think of on display and we were allowed to handle them with care. They had a small informative case telling about some of the Miami drug dealers and smugglers that succumbed to the lifestyle. If I return Id definitely shoot at the range, especially since they have guns you normally wouldnt have an opportunity to shoot.

One of the best highlights of our trip to Miami! My son (12) did a kids package. It was his first time and he had a blast. Instructor was awesome as well. Definitely would recommend.

At the beginning sounded like a good idea. When I put my feet inside the store I was like 10 years old with a Ferrari on my hands. Just to choose the weapons and to look the replicas in the wall is fun. The instructor is the best. Fabian. Really nice guy, patient and polite. Knows what hes teaching. I enjoyed the various full-auto guns. But I REALLY enjoyed the Barrett M95 .50 cal bolt-action sniper rifle. Instructors very knowledgeable and helpful!!

I had a great time here. The shooting was fun and my instructor Fabian was amazing, very knowledgeable and polite and had a great manner about him.The only negative about this place is that they are very inflexible about their packages and what you must buy to shoot. Would be cool if you could customize your package for a similar price to what is offered.I paod 50 dollar extra to shoot a p1911 pistol I have always wanted and I only got 8 rounds, i thought it was unreasonable.

Thats a really awesome experience, We coming to try the cadet package for my son, and all the personal was really nice and profesional, almost all the personal is bilingual was really helpful, the installation was very clean, safety and have a realle good small museum of guns, you can take pictures with a lot of different arms like a ak47, m16, barret and more.So if you reealy like to try for the first time, you need to go to this place, by the way the instructor Max was amazing with my son he can communicate pretty well in Spanish and make the experience priceless!!!

This was my first experience at a gun range, and coming from a fairly conservative country with gun rights (South Africa) I wanted to understand the fascination Americans and their society have with guns.Owing to my experience at Lock and Load, I completely understand it.I left theyre feeling so educated and enlightened; I really enjoyed my experience.My trainer Max was so professional and wise; he educated me about so much and I left there feeling enriched and wowed.Im not a gun person but I understand the culture now; it was so clear to me and I absolutely recommended to even tourists to want to understand America.If I get the opportunity again, I will absolutely go back there, and I would try out more guns.Like a wow experience throughout and I completely recommend it.

I would definitely be going back to lock and load if I visit Miami again. Brian my instructor was professional but at the same time made me a first time shooter feel comfortable and safe. He made sure I knew what to expect from the recoil and allowed me to have some fun.

Very cool experience with automatic weapons.The instructor I had was a very cool dude.The place is extremely well decorated with a small arms museum inside !But honestly the prices are really really high and that’s why I put 3 stars only and not more.I paid like 200$ for a package including 20 rounds per arm including 4 different arms (hk mp5, ak47, 12 gauge riot shotgun, and the Steyr aug 5,56).We could see and feel that the weapons were being used intensively...The steyr aug jammed a few times and we had to ask for another clean one (I had to insist because they wanted to replace it with something else but I wanted the steyr absolutely).Even the ak47 jammed several times ! Even had a misfire with it on one round.They should really take better care of their weapons.That was the major issue I had about this place because afterwards i felt lucky their rifle didn’t blow up in my face.Anyway, i really think that it was very expensive because at such prices you could expect the very best...The other big con was the distance, I think it’s not more than 10 to 15 yards top. That’s too close of a range for me, I would have like 25 yards at least.Other than that it’s a cool place if you wanna play Rambo.

Excellent staff, a lot to see inside if you have to wait. Cliff gave us a lot of history and detail about each gun . We did the special forces eastern bloc and special forces usa along with a desert eagle.

An all American experience; a few minutes orientation and then they let you shoot assault rifles, whats not to like? Fairly steep pricing but professional setup. Theres also a gun museum in the place.

I arrive to the place and I had hired really good things about lock & load. I payed and in the reception they told me that I had to wait 25 minutes regretfully I had to stay put one hour and 35 minutes. watching people coming and going. When standing up and asking them when am going to be able and shot. They kept responding 5 minutes over and over again. In regard of the experience itself I would recommend MIAMI Gun Clases much better customer Care.

Thank you to Cliff and the rest of the team at Lock & Load for a fun gun range experience! I have very limited experience with guns, but Cliff did a great job explaining how to use them properly, as well as giving us information about each gun that we tried out. I especially enjoyed trying an AK-47 for the first time! I’m a bit nervous around guns, but the safety at this range was top notch. Overall my group (myself and my two brothers) was very satisfied with our experience - we would definitely come back next time we’re in Miami.

Went with my brothers who have less shooting experience. Great place for beginners, and awesome automatic gun options that will satisfy everyone. We had the good fortune to have Cliff as our range officer. Cliff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He gave us good tips and advice without being overbearing, and told is some facts and history about each of the guns we shot. Excellent time, and thanks to Cliff for the awesome assistance!

One word: AMAZING! The staff was incredibly helpful. As a first timer, I would definitely recommend this place. They start off by explaining the safety instruction which are very important since you don’t want to shoot your own feet at any given point. They explain each gun in the package and how to operate. The moment you pull the trigger you will feel the adrenaline. Vast options of packages. Totally safe under supervision.

Looking for something cool to do while in Miami check out lock & load. This place is amazing with lots of cool guns and ammo they have a vast arsenal of weapons and several packages that let you experience them first hand. Our firearms instructor Fabian was awesome knowledgeable and easy to work with he explained everything in detail. I definitely recommend this place and I look forward to the next time.

It really is and truly is an experience.Its not just the guns, but our trainer FABIAN was so professional, so good, I felt like just the short lesson I had made me a better shooter. He was thorough, gave us a history of every weapon we fired and answered all of our questions.I dont want to spoil the experience, but if you have a groom to be that likes to shoot, TAKE THEM HERE, tell them youre getting married and ask for FABIAN! Came in 2015, and the people there was nice and service was quick. Dude taught us all the proper ways to shoot and how to stand. It was my first time shooting a full auto at a range and the overall process was simple.

I went on vacation in May 2018. Stumbled upon this place and let me just tell you the experience was amazing. Not only was the staff very helpful but was worth the money! Very nice shooting range. The employees are very polite and Brian (in my opinion) should be the employee of the month at everytime. They also have a museum which is free. ITs very informative.

I was on holiday in Miami and was recommended to go here by a friend. First time shooting a gun and it was an amazing experience! Although the shooting in general is quite expensive, the kick and adrenalin rush from shooting a automatic gun or shotgun is well worth it. We were helped by Brian, a really cool and helpful guy that clearly explained everything about the guns and how to shoot them. Especially when youre from Europe and have never shot before, you must go to Lock & Load to experience what its like!

Top Notch. Great Weapon Menu, perfect service and a overall excellent experience. It was our first time here and we we‘re shown every weapon we shoot. In addition we got the history of the guns with some interesting footnotes. Lock&Load is perfectly prepared for taking videos and photos. You can bring your own GoPro and mount it directly in front of you and they are sensitive to not be in the picture if you‘re filming from behind. We had Cliff today and he was the best! LOVED my experience here. I went in worried itd feel a little commercial and watered down for all the hype (Im from Alaska and grew up on a gun range) - but this place was fantastic. I took my man here for his birthday and got the Eastern Bloc package. Fabian was our instructor and gave us history, anecdotes, mechanics and personal opinions of the guns as well as necessary firing and safety instructions. Wait was very short from purchase to entry. Surprised my man with a little icing on the cake and he left with a memento hell never forget and got to tell everyone at his brothers wedding we were in Miami for all about. Worth everything. Thanks!!BTW the adjunct museum is also gorgeous and has awesome pieces that are worth peeking at.

BEST SHOOTING RANGE EVER!!!!!To not repeat the word outstanding several times, here it goes: OUTSTANDING facility, atmosphere, museum, gun selection and instructors.Just a bit overpriced but it is an overall exceptional experience.

At first the price may seem intimidating but it is rare to see the selection of guns that they have. Our instructor Fabian was amazing and filled us in on each weapon we shot to tell us about the history and power. This is a place like no other and you definitely need to go here at least once in your life!

Aimed at amateurs. They didn’t allow me to use a handgun because i was alone - why?? Go to other ranges if you want to learn how to shoot. Price structure is ill-fitting
