Was great to be back in the theater. Watched a $5 movie and all safety measures made me feel comfortable. Glad to be able to support the theater in person!

Nicer than I remember it from many years ago, they added a bar to the lobby and recliners to the theaters. My only critique is that the recliners arent wide enough. I did partake of their legendary pretzel though and that was epic though I didnt know what I was getting into as it is the size of a medium Pizza, holy cow! I saw Fantasy Island this time. If you want an entertaining mindless movie to sit down and forget the troubles of life for a couple hours this film is that kind of film. It has many Easter eggs and surprises.️️

Our favorite theater. Always a good experience. Theres one machine that I swear NEVER works.. and even took my money one time without fully processing the order.. so they comped my items. I seriously love this theater. Been to it MANY times. Were moving and Im super sad to part ways with it. Bye favorite AMC...

Even though we saw Tenet, the theater was only about a quarter full. Movie was great, going to see it again. Seats were amazing.

So glad movie theaters are open again! The entire place was super clean. I was finally able to get my movie popcorn fix! I have been jonesing since covid started!

Customer service is great n they handle their concession lines quickly & are attentive to your orders.

Movie was fun but profess was as bad as Ive EVR had. I had Groupon tickets bought April 212020. AMC said they were OUTDATED and Groupon would have given me paper if they were real . Im calling tomorrow to add some.descriltion to their plate. Weve NEVER had bad anything from RAY RD AMC think thats where next time will be. They get ZERO stars from me at this time.

Still the same good theater. Their safety precautions are in place. But personally I dont go during peak hours. Side not nothing against the theater, but its next to impossible to obverve the 6 rule if people still linger and clog up the exit when we are all waiting to leave. Move to the side so people can leave.

Nothing like a movie in theater. Good spacing. Small glitches with projector and movie times but they made up for it with passes for next time.

Ive always liked the reclining chairs. There is more space sideways and reclining is much more comfortable in which to watch a movie.

The staff is alright, drinks and popcorn are a little too high of course, but what I mostly love about AMC is that the movies make you feel extremely amazed after watching it. I cant wait to come back!

Always enjoy this theaters, boyfriend and I always come during the day. We have come a few times for first time shows (Lion King, Toy Story 4 & IT ch. 2 in whatever order they came to theaters lol) We prefer Dolby, 100% If you dont mind extra loudness, I say go for it. I became a fan w/ Jurassic World my 2 month old daughter had sound proof headphones @ an AMC in Rolling Hills, CA & she did perfect. The soundproof headphones came in clutch!!!! I do not recommend bringing tiny humans under the age of 3 for Dolby, my baby is usually in school or w/ grandpa when we sneak off ^__^ Employees are usually friendly & helpful when necessary :)

OK AMC. It has the leather recliner upgrade, a MacGuffins bar, and you can order the popcorn and soda from concessions ahead of time to skip the line. With only 14 screens the selection is not as great as the bigger multiplexes, but it has Beer Research Institute in the same strip mall for great beer before, or after the movie, plus great pizza at Mellow Mushroom, which has spectacular craft beer selection as well. (Many sours, barrel aged beers, and other specialities on drafts, plus real rarities in bottles.)

It would be great if when you arrive to the theater to try and purchase tickets at the box office in advance so that you did not have to pay the extra fees online they had somewhere on the outside of their building telling you what time they open, you can see what time the first movie plays but they do not tell you what time they open before the movie starts. Or possibly listed on their website that would be another intelligent way of doing business especially with all the technology we use these days...

Very nice, clean theater. Strongly recommend checking out epic movies in the Dolby theater. Saw Endgame, Lion King and Joker in there. Great sound, great projection. GREAT seats! 10/10

I felt safe letting my kids explore while I ordered and waited for food. Awesome customer service everyone spoke! Outside has beautiful atmosphere. Traffic away from doors allowing kids freedom, like a second home.

This is the theatre closest to me but I frequent most of their valley locations depending on where I happen to be. The heated recliners, good service and good food are always as expected.The best part is being an AMC Stubs Premiere member. If you are a frequent movie goer, such as myself, $22 a month gets you 3 movies a week including first run, 3D and Dolby experiences. Best deal this side OK f the Mississippi ....

AMC is automating all of their staff. I purchased my tickets online and had to get the actual ticket when I got there. There was one person helping 20 people waiting. Getting your tickets ahead of time is supposed to be faster and easy. It took 20 minutes just to get my seats. Then I wanted to get some popcorn and that is also automated now. Somethings just need the human element in the movies is one of them. I can’t believe that they made the customer service worse!

Last movie I saw before covid-19 . I really like this movie house. Cant wait for them to open up again I miss going to the movies

They did it again! I was avoiding this one as I thought it was going to be a poor remake of the old ones but thankfully not much else out there right now. This is actually better than the 2nd and almost as good as the first. Go see it!

Automated kiosks now require you to purchase your own ticket and concessions on your own. I felt employees offered little to no assistance not impressed with the lack of customer service.

The theatre itself is fine but I had a very disappointing experience with who I assume is the closing manager. I came to this theatre used my amc membership card that was on the key ring at the indoor ticketing counter and went straight to see Pretty little women. I didn’t use the bathroom or by any snacks I went straight into theatre 12. When the movie ended and I walked to my car my keys were gone. Not the night shift managers fault but he did not offer any help or compassion. He did not double check to make sure his employees didn’t find anything they forgot to report. He did not even ask what theatre room I was in or for my contact information in case they got turned in later. He pretty much shrugged his shoulders. I asked if he could text the employee who helped me use my stub card and he just said no. I was SO frustrated at his lack of empathy or customer service. Lucky for me I hung around for 40 more minutes and they were finally turned in. He found my rummaging through the theatre I was in by chance (he didn’t know what movie I saw) and said here you go. I don’t know where they were but yeah. No apology for not trying harder before. Either his employees didn’t follow protocol or a fellow movie goer also stayed behind awhile and finally turned them in. I just wish he was more empathetic.

Its AMC, what more is there to say. Great family fun and very comfortable movie watching amenities. For those of you who fancy some alcohol during a movie, you are able to take your alcoholic beverages purchased from the AMC bar into your theater.

This is my favorite theater to go to. The Manager was very helpful with my unpleasant experience at the time. I dont like the automated service getting popcorn, soda etc. I really liked it when they had the workers at each station and you had the human customer service experience. When you walk in, feels like one of those vacant $1.99 movie places. Wish they would put it back the way it was.

Great experience with my grandson! The seats were comfortable. The concessions people were helpful and friendly and the technology of getting my tickets was fun.

Need more people going to movies. I will be back at AMC Grand 14 very soon.

This is our first time visiting this theater as we are not from here. The seats were nice and comfortable. I didnt mind the kiosk to purchase our tickets as they did have someone floating around to offer assistance. However, I didnt care for kiosk to purchase our snacks as an only option. I like to be able to have someone tell me about the deals and make suggestions on how I could save money or get a better deal especially since things are so pricey. The counter with the butter and drink area were messy. Given the cost of the movie though, I would come back.

To be the first person in the theater and see this at 15 Mon before a showing. = Bad. And it was tracked all into the lobby. So, no one cleaned before... Oh wait. Someone just came in to clean. +1 starI remember when they would close a theater down after every show before letting the next show enter. Cmon.

I love the reclining chairs! I like to go early in the day so I can get the tickets cheap and have the theater practically to myself. Its nice and clean. Walmart is right next door so have your backpack or huge purse with you and load up on cheap munchies beforehand and smuggle them in to avoid getting robbed at the concession counter. Thats going to the movies like a boss! Took one star away because a large popcorn and large drink comes out to like $20 for sugar water and corn kernels.

Seats are super comfortable. Getting your tickets was very easy. Lots of food and drink choices. Prices.....well on par with every movie theater. The screen wasnt as clear or crisp as other theaters.

I won’t ever go back to an AMC again. They were not mindful of the public with the whole trolls 2 debacle!

It was pretty nice. The concession stand is a major rip off but thats what you get at all the theaters. The bathrooms were well kept, no pubes or pee stains on the toilet seats and the seating is nice wide recliners for people with huge asses. So fatties will have a nice place to plop their fat asses down.

Generally clean and good service. If youre going at peak times, order food through the app. Definitely better than other theaters in the east valley.

AMAZING sound with reserved reclining seats. Self serve snacks if you like that sort of thing. Our kiosk was glitchy and frustrating. Staff was friendly. Candy and popcorn were fresh and tasty. The root beer from the all in one soda machine tasted exactly like that. It was disgusting! I cant get the aftertaste to go away. The seats were clean but it felt like an airplane with cramped seating except with larger arm rests. We wont be going back.

I love AMC, but this visit at the Stapley location was below average. The lobby was extremely dirty, there was no Priority lane, and then to top it off we had some major sound issues in our theatre so we had to stop the movie 10 minutes in and could go no further. They did give each customer 2 complimentary tickets and an offer to go see another movie at that time so that was great, but I was really looking forward to seeing that movie (JoJo Rabbit) which doesnt have many options yet as its about to leave the theatre. Definitely a bummer.

The popcorn sizes are big. The drink selection is huge! It’s only Coca-Cola products but still. Caffeine free, calorie free, both! And the best part? You dispense it yourself! No more waiting in line and paying $1.50 every time you want a refill. They also have dispense-it-yourself butter. You get to pick your seat so I suggest getting your ticket sooner rather than later. Oh and the icing on the cake is: they have reclining chairs.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that there’s almost always popcorn on the floor and the counter where the butter dispenser resides is an oily mess. Not really a big deal since it is a movie theater but it’s worth noting.

Coming from outside the greater Phoenix area I usually do not visit this location but it had an earlier start time and better seat selection to see Just Mercy while using the app. So I prepaid for the tickets and concession items that were suppose to be ready 10 minutes prior to the start of the movie. Yes I said suppose to be! Movie is starting and Im still waiting for my order. Dont know where the break down in communication was but I was charged a convenience fee for preordering and not having to wait in line just to wait in line. If you are going to see Just Mercy, just so you know if you are running late, our previews had it starting 24 minutes after scheduled time.

Wont be back any time soon. The last 3 times weve gone weve had difficulty getting our debit cards to scan both at the ticket counter & at the food counter. Getting an associate to help us was impossible. They just pretended we werent there & went on serving foodIf this only happened once I could understand but 3 times is too much. Our cards work fine everywhere else.

This is my theater of choice. Staff is always friendly. The restrooms are clean and well stock of supplies. I have been going to this location for over 10 years and the maintance has been kept up and kept clean. The People are great here.

Super nice place. Ordered online and cruised right in. They even had our snacks waiting for us. Kick back in a comfy recliner and enjoy. We watched IT part 2, which was awesome! Made even more enjoyable with great sound and video quality. Ill definately come back

There are other movie theaters closer to my home, but we drive the extra miles to the Mesa Grand. We like to go to the movies early on Sunday mornings. Mesa Grand offers more choices for Sunday morning viewings. Reclining seats are great too.

Its a good place ever since the renovations. A bit pricey but all theaters are now. Dolby is definitely worth it, vibrating seats to the sound. Smaller theaters are really good too. Very guest friendly.

This is our go to movie theater. They’ve got some of the most comfortable recliner seats! Fast and friendly staff, clean theaters AND bathrooms. Concession pricing seems right in line with what you’d expect. All of this made so incredibly easy with the online ticket and food ordering, down to reserving your seat. Always a great experience when we want to go to the movies.

We arriveD 30 minutes before the start of the movie, shocked that we had to stand in line for 20 minutes to even reach a ticket machine!, then another line to order a snack and another line to be served the snack! Why these machines?. Why not just friendly people doing what has always been done.. by the time we got into the theater, the movie was well under way! If I hadn’t been with my grandchildren, I would have demanded my money back and walked out! AMC has lost this customer forever! I will never be back!,

The seats were very uncomfortable. Nobody could pass in front of us when our seats were reclined. We left the concession stand without buying anything. The lines seemed like they didnt move. Self pay machines are NOT always an improvement. We will continue to go to our regular theater, which is farther away, but provides a more pleasant movie going experience.

Love this place, close to home, love that you can reserve seats which is my favorite option, chicken is so crispy yet juicy on the inside, hot dogs are a win, yum, with ice cold beverage to wash it down with.

Excellent seats and concession stand. However, the sound system is extremely loud. Even though my aunt and I wore ear plugs, it was still way too loud.

I hadnt been there in a while but the upgrades on the kiosks were great. Luckily the staff were very kind and patient and showed me what to do. The staff were very professional and very friendly. It made my movie going experience awesome! Thumbs waaay up!

I dont know what is happening over there but management needs to get on the people there to get moving and stop dragging their feet. The floors are always dirty, soda is almost a guessing game of what is filled, there is a rotten smell in certain areas and the auditorium was not cleaned before we went in. No one seemed to care or know or want to rush to do anything and the security guard was too busy flirty with the young girls (I had seen him before when I went and he always seemed to creepily check out the girls.)They lack help. That seems to be the issue. Too much work not being strategically dealt with and too little hands on deck. I get that it saves money but not at the risk of losing the source or said money.Also, there should be quality checks on the projectors. The dolby theater in this location has a slight fuzzy image on the presentation. Its mostly noticeable when dialogue comes on screen. The other screens are darker than sin and a lot of times hard to even see the movie.I hope this location steps it up.

My most favorite place to go in the whole world. Hella pricey but the bar is fierce! Get yo drink and 2 step on over to the gourmet snacks. Reel in the movie of the night and wahala, you can star in your own movie...Drunken Master Snack Attackers!

Seats were comfortable, but I was not impressed with cleanliness of the place. Popcorn was on carpet everywhere and Im not sure if the condition of the kitchen was due to the lateness of the night. Trash was overflowing in and out of theaters.

For someone who is not from US originally AMC theaters always some kind of a cultural shock. Very nice variety of movies, very comfy recliner chairs (never seen elsewhere)... Great loyalty programs, for 20$ a month! Totally awesome. I enjoy AMC when I visit the US

This theatre was the dirtiest theatre I have even been in in my life. I had to take my sandals off more than three times because “stuff” or popcorn would flick into them. The bathrooms were atrocious there was dirt and garbage on every inch of the floors including all throughout the actual theatre rooms. The reclining seats were fine but they were sooo greasy from popcorn fingers and other peoples Body sweat.I’m not normally a germ freak and this was bad. Like I feel more comfortable rolling around on a gym floor than sitting in this place or using the bathrooms. Didn’t ruin my date but came close.

Was disappointed the line to buy a ticket was 15 people waiting and only one person front window helping. second this theater was really bad looking was not clean place. the persons in charge not doing the kid good enough.

Pleasant experience. Seats kind of greasy from popcorn butter. Bring your own wipes, dont rely on the teens they hire to clean your seat.

Great seating (reserved), IMAX was interesting (feel the rumbles in the seating without it being extra loud or deep bass). Clean. Helpful people with the screen purchasing.

The theatres are always clean, staff is always friendly, bathrooms are decent, and the assigned seating is awesome! I have back and neck problems and the lounge chairs in the theatres are great and its easy to get comfy.

I love movies and I love AMC on Stapley. But they lost a star today because I went to see Midway and he theater was to warm which makes people uncomfortable. Midway is great!!!!

As far as theatres go, its good. Comfy seats, good snack options. The floor in the lobby is usually pretty well soiled with popcorn crumbs though.

The theater itself is nice, but we went on new years day and the self ordering machines kept locking up which made ordering food a bit hard. We had to flag someone down to help unstick the machine. Other than that, great place.

I like AMC theaters. My family and I saw Men in Black International. It was cute but not like the first one. We were in a really small theater which made it warm because there were a lot of people seeing the movie. I love that its 5 dollars when you go early in the day.

The seats are INCREDIBLE! This place is great and the kids love it. They even have a bar for the adults. Prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for here. The customer service is always on point as well.

Been here a lot of times but today there were 10 teens were making too much noise and they were hopping seats. They were on their phone most of the time. Told the managers and said it no problem if they hop movies as long as they behave. UNBELIEVABLE! and here we paid $80.00 to watch a movie quietly...THIS HAS TO STOP AND PLEASE CONTROL YOUR KIDS!

I love going to the Mesa Grande. So many things to do. So much good food. I love going to the AMC Theaters.

My first time there. It was a different experience in the way their concession worked. Alot of the people were confused about using their vending machines. But overall, I enjoyed the theatre

One bathroom for 14 theaters not enough. The long walk at my age made me miss large chunks of the movie. Bottomless Slurpees didnt help either lol. Great place

I rated 4 stars because they arent always ready for the A-List Stubs app members. Instead of having the dedicated lines, you will sometimes end up in the regular line at ticketing and refreshments, which defeats the purpose of being a member of the app. It happens enough that every time I go I have to look and see if the employees are handling the A-List Stubs line or not.

My theatre!! A-list member gets you 3 free movies a WEEK.... for only small fee per month! If you see 2 movies a month, it Will pay for itself. Basically every movie beyond 2 per month is free!! Love it!!!

Okay to be fair the theater itself was awesome. The restrooms were good. My pain point was the concession stand. At the prices we pay to get this stuff, I would expect the process to be much better. The kiosk idea is an absolute disaster. It should not take upwards of 15-20 minutes to get two drinks, nuts, and a x-large popcorn. Please reconsider your kiosk set up.

This is the best movie theater if you just need a Me day and want to see a movie alone. Theres never a wait to purchase tickets due to electronic kiosks, never a wait for concessions because they have ordering kiosks, and best of all - UNLIMITED REFILLS ON SODA!! On top of that, they even have a full alcoholic bar for 21+ patrons.As far as the actual auditorium, the seats are very spacious with electronic reclining, and the aisles are wide which easily allow people to get up during the picture without disturbing the whole row.I seriously love this place for seeing new releases

I especially like going here on days Im feeling a bit more introverted than usual. They have touch screen menus for tickets, food, and drinks so you can literally go there with virtually no human contact. The recliners are so relaxing.

When walking in i was hit with a cloud of smoke, burnt popcorn. Went to fill up my drink and one of the fountain machine was pretty much empty the other one only filled up my drink halfway and then ran out. Not a very good experience thus far. On the other hand theater was nice, big and clean. Not too much trash on the ground. Sorry AMC but I think ill stick with Cinemark...

The place is okay, definitely better AMC like the one in Tempe. But its close to home. Wish theyd fix the rattling of the speakers in some of the movie rooms when the there is bass heavy audio playing.

Seating in theater was great and movie was good. Was not at all pleased with how messy and filthy the concession, lobby, and bathrooms were. Not acceptable for a theater franchise well known in this area, been to discount theaters and drive-in theaters more cleaner than this.

Costs have increased and less customer service. Two adults tickets reserved $40.90 and large self service kiosk soda $8.00. We come for the reclining seats but may be looking for another movie place or going less often.
