Nice, clean, safe park. The tables are clean and modern looking. Great place for a picnic or to read a book.
While its not a beautiful place, its peaceful and quiet. Panhandlers dont bother you as much there as they do downtown so you can enjoy a nice day sitting, walking or communing with the animals.
Great place to see
If I could rathe this lower (because of the statue) I would.
It is a really nice park.
This area is now a privately owned park. To my knowledge the UTHSC campus no longer take care of this property. Nor has any events in the park
LOVE IT!!
Nice park!!
Went to visit a food truck.
The statue is gone!
Use to love this park. Now its just a sad reminder that Memphis no longer cares about history.
Its a good place for students and medical faculty to hang out, mostly. Ive played frisbee there with friends. Occasionally food trucks will drop by. Plenty of shady and sunny areas. Overall a fine park, reasonably well maintained. Oh yeah, and theres a statue too.
The city should be ashamed of themselves for what they have done
Good measure 4 percent
Still to be completed..still pleasant!!
Can hear gunshots after hours ....there’s that
Despite removing the General, its a nice, quiet park in the middle of the med district
And across the bnb street Parkway parking
This park used to make me happy. Now it makes me sad that it was used as a weapon of mob rule instead of community discussion.
Its quite after work hours
The confederate days are OVER! Get over it! Want to bring it back? Id love to see you try.
Place is totally in disrepair since being given away a year ago. The grave marker has been removed the grounds are unkempt and it is a total disaster
Awesome park and no longer has a statue of a Confederate General. Much of UTHSC has a view of the green space.
I go to the Health Sciences park sometimes to run because its close to work and it is ok. The sidewalks are a bit uneven and I have tripped a couple of times, but when I need to get a quick run in, it does the trick. Its beautiful otherwise except for the disgusting Nathan Bedford Forrest statue on the south side of the park.
Grass dead, police just sitting in the park and the vibe in the park seems dead
The statue should not have been removed
It is so sad that people cannot move beyond the history of this country without erasing the parts which they hate. They seem to be the ones ignorant of the fact that the War between the States ended 153 years ago & that statue of a man will not hurt them.
Went to see General Forrest grave. Highly disappointed as they took the statue down
Nice small park by the UT health sciences building.
A nice place to see
A great statue of Gen. Forrest in Forrest Park.
Learn how to do a proper review with proper English.
This dilapidated city may remove statues, but will never erase history.
Such a slap in the face to the Rule of Law Complete grave desecration. Statute has been removed. Headstones and base are all that remains.
Love it
Stolen park by city of Memphis. Removal of False Idol. City of Memphis are grave robbers.
Live history, dont try to re-write it. Many things were very different 150 years ago.
Still waiting to see the outcome
Needed a dentist
Parking is limited
Nice park
I like this park, silent place to relax
A great statue of Gen.Love it.
Worthless ghetto property
You mean Forrest Park...
