We were here for a socially distant memorial. Its was nice. The park was nice a little chilly but very clean and well kept.

The Mississippi is gorgeous from here . I wish I hD know about picnic tables an scooter definitely want to go back next time we visited

Greenbelt Park is a slither of land along the Mississippi where I go to just...BE. Runners are running. Some folks are sunning. I just relax, snap a few photos and enjoy the majesty of Mother Nature. Beautiful spot!

Its always a great time and great view

Great walking trails. Only one complain and that is they should ban electric scooters. Riverside walking trails are very nice to walk and plenty of open space.

Its an easily accessible park right on the bank of the mighty Mississippi River. Go early if youre driving because the parking lot closes at 8pm.

Nice park with plenty of shade! View is very good to see the bridges. Plenty of parking on weekdays as well.

One can love and enjoy the Mississippi River far better when viewing it from Green belt Park. If one can but envision hard enough they can actually allow their minds and heart be captivated and taken away to the days of Tom Sawyer and Mark Twain as they view the passing tugboats in ardent splendor their massive loads tow.

Open early in the morning for walking and running. I like the security cameras to monitor ALL activities in the park. Great area to walk your dog.

Beautiful park, especially at sunset. Love being so close to the river, and theres lots of green space for whatever youd like. We were throwing a frisbee around, and playing cornhole

To be such a divided country with race and all I was greeted very friendly and enjoyed my time there. Very clean and even thou the grass was thick from just being cut it was understandable because of the whole virus thing

Right by the river a few miles away from downtown and ms. Cordelias grocery store, pick nic, restaurants, walk, dog park, parking.PLEASE KEEP THE PARKING LOTS CLEAN, DONT COME TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD TO LEAVE THE GARBAGE FROM YOUR CAR.

Went on a run while visiting Memphis to prep for an upcoming marathon. Beautiful scenery and friendly locals and tourists. A decent incline running across the bridge to west memphis across the river. Spring had just started but could only find one working drinking fountain by the parking lots. Otherwise great place for a beautiful view of the city and river, and perfect for going on a run or walk.

It was very quiet and peaceful sitting near the river.

Nice park bordering the Mississippi River. Bring a blanket, sit in the grass, and watch the sunset.

Very clean and family friendly. Many people had lawn chairs and was social distancing.

Very nice atmosphere most of the paving is pretty flat very few heels easier on your back and your knees

This Park is always chill. Its basically the spot where most enjoy the River or lace them up tight before walking the River in Harbortown.

Nice pedestrian friendly path along the Mississippi River. Parking is available on three lots (may be limited at the one by the AW Willis bridge, depending on day and time). Not ideal for bikes, but youll see a few every now and then. Great for running or walking (about 1.5 miles one way). Connects to a dog park to the South, and the Wolf River to the North.FYI: Water fountains are typically down during the winter months.

Great place to walk, ride and just relax.

One of my very favorite places to go when I just need quiet time by myself or when friends are visiting Memphis. There is always a nice cool breeze coming off of the river. You can stay in the parking lot or at the top of the bank and enjoy the view, or you can walk right down to the river itself. I like to sit and watch the barges and the other boat sail by. Or to just walk down to the sand and collect rocks. There is also a lovely view of the Memphis bridge from here. A perfect place to enjoy nature and to take photographs.

This park is awesome for a run, walk or picnic even. The river air really helps cool you off too

I love sitting out by the river. It helps me clear my mind. I typically go for lunch but on mornings when Im lucky I can get an hour in before work.

GREAT place for jogging. Although not many trees, unless you go on down to the actual river and run on the dirt and grass. Nice concrete path, that is sort of marked. You can add .5 mi each way by continuing south to the I-40 bridge. Going the other direction you can add more distance by going past the boat ramp driveway and to a newer path that follows along the Wolf river.

View of the river is always beneficial and relaxing. Park is clean. Always alot of people around so i feel fairly safe. Just a nice place to come solo or with family and chill!

One of Memphis best sceneries. One side is the Mighty MISSISSIPPI RIVER. With a friendly beautiful neighborhood alongside it!!!

This park was wonderful. I loved allowing my kids the chance to explore without playground equipment. We watched barges and played in the sand. It was perfect.

This is my absolute favorite place to run.

Lived in memphis the past 4 years, on the island. This park is awesome! lots of dog walkers. plenty of room to get away from others. has pickup games of soccer, badmitton, volleyball, football, cornhole, tightrope... etc etc. good mix of cultures, ages, backgrounds. the southernmost parking lot is normally where out of towners stop at. the middle parking lot is usually physically active locals. the northernmost parking lot was the first one to get the police cam, has a boat ramp, and usually has many people blasting loud car stereos on sunny days.

The river was still high for mid June.

It was coo. Very nice trail to walk and just talk and sit by the water. I saw cool birds and ducks. Its nice. I just didnt like the bugs.

I love to watch the river from here. Watching the water really relaxes me, I just really wish it stayed open later or for 24hrs
