We were here to celebrate my Godsons birthday party - a clean, well kept rec-center. Theres a few projects under construction but otherwise decent place in the neighborhood.

Their summer camp is great for the kids; they go to field trips every week and the pool twice a week. The boys end up so tired at the end of the day

Staff are nice and friendly and good with kids, my kids attend sport here for years and they enjoy it there. Parking lot might be small but you can find street parking as well. My only dislike would be the restrooms, they need an upgrade

Great park, the staff is so nice and you can tell whoever is hiring them really cares about the people they are hiring.

I have been coaching here for years and my kids play sports there. Its a great facility.

I have been coaching basketball at Chevy Chase Rec Center for six years. We have worked hard to build up the program and our players have a chance to learn the game in an enjoyable setting. We concentrate more on teaching skills and sportsmanship than just winning.

Its a amazing place

Dont book anything at this gym. Ceaser, Omar, and his staff will Screw You over. We payed in advance to book this gym and they double booked us, TWICE!!! We literally have to remind them several times a week that we booked the gym for that 2 hours on that day. These guys are incompetent or just pocketing the money and dont care. We are the ones that are usually screwed when its double booked because we dont want to take away the gym from the kids. Thats fine if you have to book the gym for the kids but AT LEAST LET US KNOW BEFORE WE GO TO THE GYM SO WE CAN RESCHEDULE! Buy a dam calendar so you know who is booked on what day and write it down because apparently a smartphone is to advance for you guys.

I have been coming here for close to ten years now. For me it is a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors without having to take a drive anyplace. They have programs for the kids, and a lunch program for the seniors. Theres handball and basketball and a horse shoe court outside, and an indoor gym with a quality wooden floor basketball court where they have scheduled games with other parks. Theres a weight room. Please be respectful, the locals are a bit possessive and proud of thier park. For BBQ and baseball or soccer there is a larger park 1/2 mile to the west at the LA River. Its all part of the Griffith complex.

If you want to play indoor basketball you have to wait til 6:30 because of an afterschool program, restrooms outside are filthy..
