I come to this park to walk because my neighborhood isnt too safe to walk in due to having too many loose dogs Me and my husband both agree that this is such a beautiful park with a lot of history. It also helps that it smells like bbq when youre here it really ties the town into this park. Theres a beautiful pond that you can fish in and theres a playground, a pool, a waterfall, a track and so much more! Nearby is a cemetery and an elementary school and a neighborhood. This is a place for all ages to come and enjoy!

Busy on the weekends, but really beautiful. There is something for everyone. B-ball, disc golf, a play place, walking trails, ducks(dont feed them bread, please). Plenty of parking and a perfect place to social distance.

Loved they are fixing it up to be more family friendly !

Love this place!! Stop here and let the kids cool off... Picnic tables and benches are near by and its a great location for having a family picnic!!

Fed the ducks and geese and even witnessed a wedding across the pond.

Great park. Its nice and open and has variety for different recreational activities.

It is very nice and peaceful park. Perfect to sit down have a picnic or sit under a tree and read. There is nice pond with ducks and geese you can feed. You can fish in the pond, visit the basketball courts, the playground, splash pad or play frisbee. There are many events held in the park year round and movie nights in the summer for the family. Definitely a place to visit!

Perfect for a nice quiet walk or morning run, nice to feed the ducks or fish. It is very dark in the evening, there arent alotta of post light out there.

It was great to see my daughter and her cousin enjoy the splash pad. Great way to cool off for FREE!

The place is nice and all, but some of the lights dont work at night time

The park is great But the pool has to much bleach it messt up my familys eyes and also restrooms are not that great. Take your own toilet paper and soap to wash your hands. But other than that a good place to jog or walk.

Nice place to relax. Me and my grandchildren fished and they also enjoyed it very much.

Plenty of tables to stop by and have lunch near the pond. Relaxing.

Place is cool. If you are a family oriented person such as i, then this is a wonderful place to spend a couple hours of fun. Also great place to visit if you play pokemon go.

Great atmosphere for children to run around. Can also feed the ducks. There is a playground that is a little outdated in the back. There is plenty tables, a basket ball court.

Nice and clean, splash pad is reasonable size for children. Theres is also a small skate park and playground. Even a pond to feed ducks. Pic nic tables and BBQ pits. Restrooms as well, but not very well lit.

This is a really sweet park. We went to watch the fireworks and had a great time.

Spacious, but the playground was seriously lacking.

Great place for kids and family gatherings

Lockharts city park has a place for everyone. A pool for kids, a splash pad for toddlers or kids. A play ground covered tables all around the area pavilions for parties or gatherings some you can reserve some are first come first serve. A pond with ducks a stream with fish a skate bowl a baseball field a soccer field enough room for football shady trees etc. Perfect place for families or time alone in nature.

Good nice park but wish pool was better

It was nice and it was clean and nice people and they was sweet and the people was nice and they talked to u and that park was clean and it felted good to see a park like that and they was sweet people

Kids had fun. Could use some regular swings tho.

We went for a cross country meet and enjoyed the scenic park. Enjoyed watching the geese and ducks on the pond. Very nice park.

A really nice park

Lovely city park, very well maintained...not Lockhart State Park, but I prefer the natural state of the land.

Need to fix/upgrade kids play area. But fields were nice. Went to eat BBQ. Area was shaded and quiet.

99% of the trash has been picked up, rest rooms still need a little TLC but very peaceful to sit and enjoy nature.

Somewhat isolated at end of town. Right next to BBQ joints though. DO NOT feed the ducks here. Against city ordinance. Great olace to have a quick lunch.

Me and my family love to go fishing here and ride bikes and Camp is Park is great and has everything that you need its just really close to the shops and stuff if you need to go leave the camping is fun we had a really good time here

Fun splash pad/pool... Nice area to walk or picnic.

Has a pool thats not expensive to get in, there is a water play area thats free to play in as well as a play ground for the kiddos also there is a small pond with a small dock that you can fish for perch, bass, catfish and bluecat. You can also feed the ducks there. They have small BBQ pits for hamburgers and hotdogs.

Great pool in the summer. Scate Park. Splash Pad. Lots of events year round. Pond with ducks and pier for fishing

Brought our granddaughters and nephew there for spring break 2018. We had a blast.Park is so beautiful.

A great place to eat lunch and play

Great place to commune with nature, get a good workout, meet healthy people and cath outdoor movies. One can also barbeque individually or in groups.

Beautiful park however there were no available restrooms to use.

Great place, has a very clean country feel to it. Better events than Austin without the traffic and cost.

Only downside is its next to a cemetary.

Favorite park in Lockhart. Take my kids here often. The geese can be very agressive and dangerous to young children though
