Great little park on the river. Nice playground with climbing elements for the kids. Public restrooms were nice

This is a great place to drop in the S Platte for tubing! Parking is hit or miss. Sometimes it can be hard to find parking and other times the lot will be empty. We usually leave a couple cars at the Brent Mayne baseball fields where we will exit the water, deflate tubes and shuttle everyone back for another run or a beer at Breckinridge Brewery! We bring our own tubes each time. We have had other friends try to rent tubes near the landing but they were all reserved for the day so I would definitely make a reservation if you choose that route.

I used this entry point for pathway access. I can certainly see the appeal for a small gathering.

What more could you want? A multi use trail for biking, hiking, walking, roller blading, scooters, etc with gravel and paved paths along a river with easy parking!

Beautiful park area looks new! The area offers a few gazebos with tables. I noticed a bike maintence rack on the side of the restrooms (which were super clean) that had screw drivers, wrenches and a air pump. Great to have access to in case of emergencies on the bike path.There is also a small play area but I wouldnt call it a playground really more just for pit stops for bicyclist.

South plate park is great place to go kayaking or ride the bike or walk the dog. This take out is very clean and super nice.

Nice newer park with water features. But why do you have your bathroom structures locked?? Lots of parking. But seriously you have a nice new bathroom structure and theyre locked?? I hope you have an accident in public

Great summertime spot for tubeing

Nice park! During the summer, groups of people, summer camps and recreational facilities use the park to gain access to the river for rafting and paddle boarding. Wide paved bike path runs along the river and is very popular. The park was just renovated with twice the parking, nice restrooms, big pavilion and new paved access to the bike path and trails.
