Excellent trails with great views. The loop can be a bit tricky to stay on as it goes through a park and housing area, but is really nice the entire way. There is basically no shade at all unless you go late enough in the day. This trail also connects to Deer Creek Canyon Park. The parking lot is well maintained and has an easy entry way. Absolutely worth a visit. I will be back.

Very pretty with dusting of snow at sunset. Professional photography needs permit. Trail is mostly in flat open space heading toward Trailmark community. These pictures all taken from parking lot.

Lots of open space hiking and switchbacks including climbs. Beautiful view of the lakes. Also great space for mountain biking.

Great place for an evening bike ride, walk or run. There is no shade so plan accordingly. Lots of people take family pictures here so the parking lot was busy on the weekend.

Easily accessible with what seems like a bit less foot traffic than some of the other nearby parks. Best early or late as there is generally not any shade.

Decent after work quick bike ride if you live close. Not worth driving far for, rather boring singletrack and the neighborhood part of the trail really ruins the vibe

This place can get busy. There is a small parking one so get there early if you want to use the space. There is a easy single track mountain bike path thats approximately a 3 mile loop. It is a very easy but still fun and because of its Western exposure you can ride year round and in almost all weather conditions

Fun, pretty easy mountain biking. There is a fair amount of climbing but not technical. Black Bear Trail, however, which connects Hildebrand and Deer Creek Canyon trails, is steep and quite difficult.

This park now connects to Deer Creek Canyon. The switch backs are #insane! Part of the trail is carved out of the rock and is particularly dangerous. It offers spectacular views. I encourage exploring this trail but exercising safety first. It is particularly fun in the winter when it is less crowded.

We had a nice lunch here with me, my wife and her mother. Her mother is old and uses a walker so we need place with picnic tables close to parking and easy to get to. This place had that, albeit only one picnic table that I could see. This was the 3rd place we tried as the other parks in the area had the tables we could use taken. So that means this place is accessible when others are not so good find for picnic lunch. Very pretty, peaceful setting. Porta-Potty was disgusting though, FYI.

Nice Prairie views. Good for cooler weather because there is no tree cover. The new multi use Black Bear Trail has recently opened and connects to Deer Creek Canyon. The trailhead to trailhead is just under 12 miles and 2500 feet elevation gain. A car shuttle or key exchange is necessary. Most of the trail roll and are steep in a few places. There is a hogback at the top of Hildebrand Open Space and the terrain is steep, rocky and there are a few cliffs. The trail is well constructed and there are only 4 trail junctions, Two Brands, Black Bear, Plymouth Mountain and Plymouth Creek. Plymouth Creek was a sheet of ice and traction devices were needed. This will be one of my new favs! A great variety of habits and terrain.

Went there for a photo shoot so I didnt tour the whole park.A lot of mountain bikers were meeting up for a big ride through the park. It looks like it would be a great trail to ride. I will have to go back and ride it.They have a large Porta Poty to use before and after your hike/ride.
