It is so sad to walk around the the building and see how poorly Jeffco parks and rec have not been doing any maintenance on the back side of the building. Weeds are bad, goat head stickers and trashy, I know we are in a pandemic but what does my tax dollars pay for again?

Very nice recreational center. I have only been there for Foothills kids basketball and they do a great job with the program. The rest of the facilities seem nice and well kept.

We ALWAYS love open swim here! Its a small pool, but a hidden gem and the staff is always great.

A good facility, somewhat small with limited services, but great for the surrounding community nonetheless.

The lifeguards and pool staff is always great here, unfortunately not all of the front desk staff is so nice. The younger front desk girls have gotten attitude more then once over asking simple questions about things happening around the rec center. Fortunately with just taking swim lessons we dont have to deal with the front desk much!

My kids love the drop-in gymnastics, always a great option to get some energy out, especially on a winter day!

Attended the Friday Open Gym for 9 months through 5. Reasonable number of children, accompanied by adults. GREAT variety of gymnastics equipment available, some at adjusted levels for little kids. Check in was easy, except they require a piece of mail to prove you are in district. My p.o. Box didnt suffice.

Great gymnastics center. The swimming pool is over-chlorinated, and my kids came home with angry rashes on their skin after swimming for an hour.

The spring floor is one of the best I have ever used 10/10 recommend it. Only dislike was floor spacing, but that was easily managed by the athletes there.

You can take diving lessons here! Like flips n stuff!!

I have been coming to Lilley Gulch for the past couple of years for the open gymnastics class with my 4 year old. The gymnastics class is wonderful! So much fun for kids (and adults too!) and well run.

Very disappointed in the child care program here. Dont even bother coming if your child requires more assistance like sensory processing, behavior etc... Even if it is in the smallest form. They will kick you out so fast you wont even get a chance to form a plan. We were bullied out of leaving this program when my child was 3. We were in the process of getting her help. Amber and Jonah are bullies and manipulative. I inquired today 2 year later about a summer program and was told my child is a danger to others and is not welcome back to foothills programs ever. What a harsh punishment for a child. I think this program needs looking at. I feel my child was mistreated and neglected here. My child had no problems prior to or since with teachers. Yes she has very mild developmental issues but thrives now. I think my daughter was telling me she was being mistreated with her actions.

Cant remember this park. I probably pulled over to make a call.

Its been around forever. And has a ton of sporting leagues for young ones

Great fun for 2 year olds at the open gym

Lilley Gulch is a great all around facility. A nice gym and cardio area that has older machines, but everything works well and is up kept. It has a very big multipurpose gym for basketball and the such, as well as a large gymnastics area. Pool is nice, but my favorite is that it has two racquetball courts. Staff has always been super friendly.

The girls that teach the gymnastics classes are fantastic. They give the girls their individual attention and work with each girl on their form and technique. Other places weve been too are not as dedicated as the girls at Lilley Gulch. We were very pleased with their gymnastics class and plan on continuing there

I have limited time to swim before work. I was there right at 6am when the pool is SUPPOSED to open. 2 ladies and I stood there waiting for 15 minutes until 1 of the ladies asked the front desk about it. only then do we find out the second lifeguard was late so they wouldnt be setting up the pool for another 20 minutes at least. I had to change out of my swim gear and head to work. At least tell people checking in there will be a wait!! I would have saved myself time and frustration

Very nice staff and a very clean facility. Prices for a day pass were the most reasonable in town.

Rarely busy and usually can get right on your equipment of choice

The Foothills Flairs gymnastics team is wonderful. They participate in the CARA league. The program is great because it is competitive without overtaking the childs entire life. My daughter is 11 and she practices 2 nights per week, year-round. The coaches are very encouraging. Courtenay, the coordinator, is great. She communicates wonderfully with parents. I highly recommend this program!

My boys play rec league sports and it has always been a positive experience.

Seating outside gymnastics area has been reduced to plastic, wood, and metal chairs...which makes for a long hour. BYOC. Bring your own cushion!

The pool is a bit small but, still great for lap and open swimming. The other amenities are also fantastic. Lilley Gulch Recreation Center also offers a variety of great instructional and recreational programs for children.

The women that work the night shift shut the lights of on me while I was finishing my shower. NOT ONLY WAS I SOAPY AND IN COMPLETE DARKNESS I AM 6 MONTHS PREGNANT AND SLIPPED! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE. Oh and mind you, they close at 10pm, it was 10:05 pm when they did this to me. Then they tried to tell me I was not allowed back there. I have been going to lilly gulch since I was 12yrs old. I am 31 now. These people should be fired and banned from any hospitality employment.

Theres a huge range of activities for kids, and prices are very reasonable. Its not where you go if you want your child to be a champion gymnast or swimmer, but are you that parent? If youre the parent who wants diverse activities though, this place (and the other Foothills community centers) are for you.

Swimming lessons left a lot to be desired. Kids had fun, but didnt learn anything. Instructor was a kid and did not keep a good eye on my 5 year old son-this made me very nervous and therefore I had to watch him like a hawk and had to even call out that the instructor had his face under the water and didnt realize as my son was choking on water... better to go to the YMCA for swim lessons!

Some of the Gymnastics coaches are great, a few are ridiculously lazy like the chubby blond. Her facial expressions are obnoxiously filled with attitude!

Great facility. Gymnastics facility is first rate. We also use the cardio room a few times per week. Too much politics on their TVs, ...but what are you gonna do.

My two year-old daughter and I had a great time at the gymnastics drop-in time!

This rec center is corrupt. One of the employees there took my jacket and said it was lost, when she probably had it sitting in the back of her car. I called you and you said that you had my jacket, when I went in a few days later a very angry women said she did not have it and only went in the backroom for 10 seconds. I was very frustrated and I will never be going back to the filthy place again. If there is another rec center nearby go to that one and dont waste your money here.

Its sad they dont have lifeguards for the pool and had to shut it down for the time being, but this place really is top notch. Very well run and super friendly staff.

Gymnastics play area is great. There are not enough open play times though.

My child is on the gymnastics team through Foothills at Lilley Gulch. We have been to all the other gymnastics centers from Arvada to Littleton and everywhere in between. Foothills has the best hours, the best price (especially if youre in the district) and the nicest coaches. Many of the other gyms have back breaking hours and coaches who expect gymnastics to overtake your whole life. Foothills philosophy is: family first, school second, sports third. Wow, finally someone gets the true spirit of what a sport should be. They compete through the CARA league and dont think its not competitive just because its not USAG. It is still very competitive and many gymnasts are migrating to this league because they can still compete in their sport and participate in other activities too. I highly recommend.

My kids are involved in a lot of activities here and it is so affordable, I love it here!
