The park is green with lots of shade trees. Great facilities. Great park except for the restrooms Maintenance. Really? What is so difficult about fixing plumbing, providing soap, towels, and toilet paper! Men’s room flooded today for lack of maintenance so the guys were using the women’s restroom. I have no problem with sharing. However that also meant the women’s restroom ran out of toilet paper, towels and soap. In a pandemic.Fix the plumbing immediately. The women’s bathroom also leaks water from the first stall. Fix it. T

We love McBean Park! We like to go watch the local baseball games, walk our dogs and trails along the creek!

Came here to play horseshoes..4 dirt pits and 4 clay pits..big park. Baseball fields and basketball courts..lots of grassy areas to play..good size playground. Firehouse next door cant be a bad thing, right?

Love this place. Love all the wood work gives me ideas at my own house backyard with basic woodwork. The kids love this place.

Funniest thing ever, when I was walking my dogs, I heard the harmonica being played inside the restroom near the baseball field! I guess sometimes you need music to go by LOL

If I Could Give It 6☆s I would!!! How about a park with clean bathrooms, lots of green grass everywhere, and a custom designed playground area. My children could not help themselves. The ran around that playground as if it was an amusement park!! So Wonderful and we cant wait to come again!! GOD Bless @!

Great place to unwind. A skate park for boards and bikes. Scooters also.Watch a Little League game or softball. Picnic tables for hanging out, or have a birthday party. Nice tall trees provide shade in the summer. Get there early for a table on weekends as they fill up quickly. Bounce houses welcome! All in all, its a nice escape from your daily routine.

There is a creek running thru the park that is accessible so I see lots of people and their dogs enjoying the beauty. incredibly peaceful.Many activities go on there with a community center that celebrates many ethnic backgrounds and holidays throughout the year. Very safe, clean and beautiful! People there are relaxed and friendly.Park contains numerous activities such as horseshoe pits, pool, many picnic tables w/ barbecues, kids playground, skateboard park, basketball, baseball field and dog park!

First time there its a big park.

A good variety of swings, slides, monkey bars and climbing equipment for kids. Id say 10 years and under. Some shady areas so not all the equipment is in the sun, good layer of wood chips for the ground covering.

Freshly painted and well keep for how long ago it was built and donate it to the city of Lincoln.

I visited the skatepark today after a long hiatus. This skatepark is pretty cool, but obviously not very well maintained. Holes at the base of multiple quarter pipes and screws sticking out make it tricky and sketchy on some lines, so be careful. Also the sheet metal at the base of some of the features is raised or not connected. All around pretty cool little park. Wish there was a flat ground box to hit. Fun little flat bar and kinked rail, bring wax because almost everything is sticky.

The park is a very nice venue to celebrate July 4th. Our family and friends gather yearly to celebrate together with food and games before watching the best display of fireworks. Lincoln does them big! Theres a family atmosphere with bounce houses for kids, some craft and food vendors, and bands playing at the pavilion. Thank you to Lincoln and its sponsors for another great event.

McBean Park is large and well maintained, located near the city center, used for a large number of activities and events of all kinds. The park has a baseball field, swimming pool, kids play area, basketball courts, skate park, an event hall, and plenty of parking. The annual 4th of July fireworks show is spectacular, with street vendors and a party-like atmosphere. With so much to do, we love coming here!

This is a pretty fun and large park. They have a huge playground and the kids loved it. It is kind of hard to keep a close eye on the little ones as the playground is big and made of wood

This park is huge!!! It has a beautiful gazebo, large lawns, softball/baseball fields, big/small dog parks, basketball courts, huge wooden playground for the little ones, skate park, AND a nature reserve area! (Probably more! I didnt explore the entire place, but that was already a lot in one park!)

Great kids playground, basketball courts, baseball fields, lots of open grass and picnic tables under big shade trees. Just dont let your teenager hang out here, especially by the skate park. Its drug central.

It has a skateboarding area, closed-in basketball place a small fenced in dog park and a 2 double swingsets with a little park for the kids.

I love small towns, they have character and a touch of History which I think everyone should remember technology has not been around for ever.

Love this park. A staple of the city of Lincoln. Anyone who lives in Lincoln or has spent time there probably has great memories at this park. The playground is amazing, so many things to do. Its an incredible play structure and well maintained. Only downside of this park is the collection of homeless at night and/or teens looking for a place to hangout and be rowdy.

Wish the Pavillion restroom had a bit more attention to them. The trash can is not large enough for a 4 hour event and the paper towels start overflowing. Some of the stalls do not have purse hooks (that have come off and not been replaced).Overall the rest of the hall is great. One day it would be nice when they upgrade the chairs to something more comfortable.

This is a beautiful, mature municipal park featuring multiple baseball diamonds, grassy open space, skate park, basketball courts, bandstand, pool, and community center. Our last visit was to observe a Lincoln Potters play off game. The Lincoln Potters are a summer collegiate league, a member of the Great Western League playing June to August. Great fun!

Amazing park. The park is awesome for the kids with a castle like feel equipped with slides, swings, sand box area, bars and stuff to climb on and be a kid. Plus the bathrooms are clean and good BBQ area. This park is great for the whole family. Plus good neighborhood and its just a good park to relax in.

Park was fairly decent. Has a wooden fort type of feel. Only issue I had was there was a homeless guy sleeping there, and a few workers driving around, and they never bother to ask the guy to leave. A local resident says its usually s safe area, and it was a first to see him there. He left as soon ss more parents and kids showed up. Also, sinks in mens bathroom didnt work. If it wasnt for the minor issues, Id give it a 5-star since the place is very well kept.

Went to see fireworks put on after baseball game. A unique wood structure play area is something to see. Parking was no problem I like this area, Ill come back its really kick back, clean, simple. No city traffic jam or honking when events ended.

Lincoln Potters games, firworks, skate park, pool, playground, and a huge grass area for whatever your needs are, also has a creek that you can walk along, with some great views.

Its a great, well maintained park. It has everything from a large jungle gym, to a AAA baseball field, and even a skate park. Facilities are well kept, and theres a creek with all sorts of beautiful trails to explore!

A great park for the City of Lincoln, that offers a play area with apparatus, swings, monkey bars, etc. There are large fields bordered with large shade trees and picnic tables for parties and events. There is a remodeled swimming pool open during the warmer months, and there is a recently remodeled baseball field used by a minor league baseball team. The McBean Pavilion is available for large scale inside events and can be rented out for parties, meetings, celebrations, etc.I consider Lincoln residents lucky to have this gem!

Amazing park, plenty of room for lots of kids to play and not be crowded. Its mostly wood chips but there is a small sand box. There is also a drinking fountain. The bathrooms however are pretty gross or else Id give 5 stars.

It would be a wonderful park. Unfortunately there are too many bums and people smoking Meth and weed for it to be a nice place to bring kids. Cant even let the kids in the sand box because of all the trash and who knows what else.

I had the pleasure of walking through the lovely McBean Park and attending the Portuguese Festa! The layout of the park is Broad and expansive with good walk ways and it is Pet friendly. Park has plenty of handicap parking if you dont mind walking a little bit.The carnival and the festa was absolutely wonderful! Thanks for a nice time.

Fun baseball games and great park in general

We live down the street from the park. We attended a wedding. On a very hot Friday. At 5:00 pm. Thankfully, it was indoors! The facility was great! Good size, A/C working, kitchen sufficient. Everything was beautiful. Recommended!
