Fun venue with excellent views almost everywhere. Its very tastefully decorated. Nice bar setup though they could use more bartenders during full house events.

This place is a great stopping point to come by, the theater is a older version real theater, their food was very good, (prime rib) staff are very helpful and ready to help with any needs. Theres a bar which served us without prejudice and central located.

What a grandly restored historic venue.Great place to see a show and enjoy an intimate atmosphere with unique seating opportunities ( tables, chairs and Booths). The lighting is superb and the entire environment speaks to the grand architecture of the golden age of entertainment.Kudos to all involved and thanks for booking such great musicians and comic acts.Definitely worth many return visits.

Venue is beautiful and drink selection is very good. We sat in the balcony (general admission) which wasnt bad at all. It was definitely hard to hear the comedian we saw, which is why Im only giving 4 stars as of now. Well go back again and Ill reconsider changing my rating at that time.

Saw an amazing show there. I would recommend sitting somewhere thats not the 3rd balcony. The seats are uncomfortable for a show thats longer than an hour, but if youre young and cheap than its pretty good!

If we could afford the seats by the stage, this would have been an excellent venue! It was still an incredible experience from the balcony seats!

Had great seats for Demetrius Martin, the staff was very courteous in assisting me with buying a last-minute ticket (classy girl with blonde hair, sensible shoes) and the venue is a really cool, intimate environment for any show. Hit the ATM fist though, its an all-cash bar with no ATM inside...

The Rococo was a bad experience. We bought our tickets on the Lied Center, nothing being said that there was clear bag policy. Tickets came in mail and no flier was in it. We got to the Rococo for a nice night of Jazz. We went through the first check point of security with their wands. After that they had a bag check, but it had to be a clear bag. If it wasnt clear they threw it in an old closet, no tagging, with a bunch of other bags. I dont think this is right, because on the tickets it says they arent responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. When it could be simply been claimed by another person easily after the show, items couldve fallen out, or been damaged from being thrown. Rococo really needs to rethink their bag policy and where it says it, because no one checks the actual website about policies.

Intimate venue in downtown Lincoln. Street parking or Parking Garage just around the corner. Table seating is a little tight, but youd be most comfortable watching the show if you turned your chair facing towards the stage. Would recommend coming here for comedic acts.

This place is really cool to look at. However, the seating is pretty awkward. Also, the bar is cash only, which disappointed a lot of people. I did like that the parking garage was very close. The security didn’t let us in the building despite the lobby being empty and the temperatures being in the negatives. If security is there for our safety, then why are they forcing us to wait in unsafe temps? There’s a whole lobby with ropes where we could’ve been waiting.

Such a cool building, and the people that were working were friendly. However, the seats are all very close together, and the leg of my husbands chair was about an inch from the stairs.

Their security is WAY over the top. Also, if you arent going to accept debit cards, at least have an ATM on site. Seriously, vendors at the Farmers Market can accept cards, but they cannot? Bartender was rude. It was the crazy cold night when we went to see Iliza ( -40 windchill), and they were kicking people who were waiting for their Uber out into the cold because she had a VIP event starting in another room. I will not return here unless I have to.

The Good: Legendary venue with awesome stand-up comedy acts! The Bad: Cash only bar with no ATM. If your bar is not going to accept plastic, please install an ATM next to the bar so customers can grab some cash and not have to walk all over downtown Lincoln searching for an ATM.

At one time a theater, then a movie theater and now recently renovated into an event space. The Rococo is a classic theater where theyve installed tables to overlook the stage and a bar to serve drinks. The venue is quite nice with modern lights and sound system and clear line of sight to the stage.Parking is solely in garages around the area, on street parking doesnt really exist.

Spent New Years at the Rococo, wont do that again. They charge $90.00 per couple for a band. Thats it, a band. No food was available even for purchase. The drinks were $9.00 and $6.00 for a beer. We were told when purchasing the tickets that yes, you can sit together, but the tables seat 4 at the $90 rate, we had 6 in our party and my husband and I had to sit with our backs facing our group with two total strangers at a table. I wont spend $90 for tickets to have them tell me where I will sit and no effort to accommodate. I asked if we could adjust and was rudely told by the owner that the seats are bought by the seat not the table. She was rude, snappish and never even got up from her chair to see if she could accommodate. So buyer beware when you purchase things from Rococo to get ALL the facts before handing over your credit card.

Great facility. Worst ticket purchasing system Ive ever experienced. Accidentally put all tickets on pre-sale for an event so it was sold out before it even opened? Then a web site that didnt function at all - showed available tickets yet there were none, tickets in cart mysteriously disappeared when checking out, CAPTCHA inaccurate - once additional shows were added. Would encourage performers to find another venue, despite loving the character of facility itself.

Attended the Bob & Tom comedy tour at the Rococo Friday February 15. Sat in the 2nd row, far left side. Although floor speakers on stage were directly in front of us, no sound came from them and hearing the comedians was often difficult or impossible. We did hear a few times a crackle or static from those speakers whenever a performer got exceptionally loud. Folks seated in our area often were NOT laughing with the rest of the audience but instead could be seen, as we were, leaning toward the center and asking around, What did he say? Hence, a problem with the sound existed for which there can be no doubt. My wife went for drinks and used that opportunity to report the problem to the bartender who said hed pass along her complaint. Later I noticed near the bar one of the radio personalities who had been on stage earlier so I told him and he said hed pass along the complaint. After the program we learned the couple seated in front of us had also complained to the bar. Unfortunately, a Rococo spokesperson (woman) contacted the following business day denied any complaints had been received, which is both sad for them and not true. Shame on the parties involved who didnt ensure properly functioning speakers and those choosing to ignore complaints. We could hear only about 60% of the performance. Youll miss the performance you paid for while looking for a responsible party to voice a complaint. Bottom line: get seats in the center to ensure your monies worth.
