I love the intimate performances you get at this theater, and I recommend it to all my friends when they come to visit me or the people that ask me what I think is the best venue I have ever seen a band at in Lincoln

Fantastic show last night. Great venue. The staff was very professional and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place for other shows.

Friendly staff, excellent entertainment and, marvelous plethora of drinks. I have always enjoyed a show at the Bourbon Theatre.

Probably the best sound system in Lincoln. Unfortunately, not bike friendly. They do not have a bag check and refuse to let you enter with a backpack, even if you let them check it. Not sure what a person on a bike is supposed to do with their gear. Let one of the homeless people who live around there steal it?

Awesome venue that keeps the shows extremely personal. Facilities were great, and the sound system was incredible.

Most intimate venue Ive ever seen Ganja White Night in and I wasnt ready for how awesome this place was. Out of town from Fargo ND, will definitely be returning here for more shows.

Incredible place for a more intimate experience. You can get closer to the stage than a overly large venue, so the show is always great. They get a large variety of artists which caters to everyone!

I remember when this place was one of Lincolns premier movie theaters in the 60s. I saw the Beetles Yellow Submarine there.Its conversion to a concert venue seems to have worked well.The place was jumpin Tuesday night with Explosions in the Sky.I would guess that I was the oldest person (72) there, and the staff treated me respectfully and with some amount of humor.Thanks for being there for all the good music and the people who want to hear it.

Awesome little venue in downtown Lincoln!

Not a bad little venue. Sound was good and atmosphere kind and inviting. Not very many tables and the ones they have they sell. It would be nice to have seating for people that dont dance on the floor anymore. Even if I wanted to spend the $300 for a table they go very quickly and weeks before the event.

Great venue, friendly staff! Bring your own straws because they dont believe in them at the bourbon!

The Bourbon is my favorite place to see the bands up close and see new bands to fall in love with. Great staff too!

Old theatre converted to a concert venue. Not a bad seat in the house, but unless you get there early, you wont get one. There is a large main floor for standing. The drinks were decently priced. The acoustics are great! The staff was also friendly! I would go to more concerts here!

Great place to watch a concert, Atmosphere

Bartenders always great. I did not know there was a back and bigger venue just around down the hall. Love the atmosphere. Weak drinks though.

Had a great first ever visit this week to see a comedy act. I was a little worried based on other reviews, but the drinks were cheap, the air conditioning was on, and everyone had a seat. I will definitely frequent The Bourbon Theatre again.

Its awesome to be able to go somewhere in Lincoln and hear live music, with area for dancing by the stage. They have been bringing in good shows and artists.

Love the establishment. Been going for years. Couldnt ask for. Better venue. Could be a little more lax and hospitable but a great a place to see many mixed genre amazing shows all in all got a fair price as well. Many great times to be had at the bourbon no matter whats happening.

Great venue, plenty of room to move about freely, even when its a sold out show. Staff is amiable and conscientious, patient with all yet still marking territorial boundaries patrons need respect. Great sound system. If you have anything but an enjoyable experience, its Mea Culpa buddy.

Great location for this venue. Always clean inside and out. The staff is friendly and always helpful if the need ever arises.They get in tons of popular events and its located right in the heart of downtown close to plenty of places for drinks or food!The drinks are reasonably priced. The bartenders know how to make mixed drinks and they know what they do and dont have like the back if their hand! I always love it when shows I want to see come here, beats driving to Omaha!!!

I enjoyed the show very much. Drink prices where a little high ok quality. The stool I sat on was flat and wobbly as well as the table but overall the main performance was really good the opening act didnt make sense but thats not really here nor there overall Id go back to see another performance in the future.

The building is really cool, if you havent been here you should at least check it out. Huge variety of artist coming through. You can usually expect to pay a cover though, and the drinks can be pricey so not the best place to go regularly.They have a beer garden that is just a tiny fence around some tables outside the place. The crowds from all the bars gets pretty congested in that area so be careful on your smoke breaks.

Great place to see a show. Much better than larger venues. larger than a bar but smaller than an arena. Music is great and a staff is amazing

Good venue and usually has great shows. Had to knock off a star because sound can be spotty at times. Otherwise, great layout and staff!

Ive been to The Bourbon a couple of times now and its a nice little place. It can get hot in there but you cant beat the ticket prices.

Great spot to play. Stopped in with my band Messer with Red, Lacey Sturm and Righteous Vendetta. Huge selection of whiskey and Burbon. Crowd kicked ass!

Great venue for live music. Big enough to be accommodating to large crowds and small enough to maintain an intimate feel with the performers.

This was quite the experience when I went in for a concert. I enjoyed the patio for the smokers and nice environment that I seen. Ill definitely go back again.

Old movie theater converted into a concert hall. This place is great. National and local bands both come to play and its a great space for both. There is a small front stage in the main lobby area and a big main stage in the main room. Plenty of room to move area or just chill. Its a great place to go if you dont know what else to do.

Venue is great The staff,especially Aaron, were very helpful. You feel like you are almost part of the band.

Great Place to listen to live music

The Bourbon Theatre is my family. Every concert that I attend they always make sure Im enjoying myself and sometimes they come out on the floor with me when they arent too busy. Theyre always very friendly and courteous and caring.

Best place to see a show (live music) in Lincoln hands down. The Bourbon Theater is concert goer friendly. The staggered floor levels make it easy for the vertically deprived to see the band just fine when the 6 plus guys are in front of you! Lol (you know those guys that always seem to find an open spot directly in front of you) drinks are reasonable and staff are friendly. Ive been coming/going here for 15-20 yrs and have always had a great time.

I love this venue - even if you are standing at the back, you have good view of the stage. Been to several very fun concerts there

Saw Thadeus Gonzalez here a few weeks ago, good place to see a show like that. A headbangers ball if ever there was one. Great prices here and staff is good.

Hell yeah close and intimate environmemt. You will need ear plugs cause you are going to very close. Saw Angel Vivaldi here.

Small but mighty venue with surprisingly good acoustics. Service staff always friendly and helpful. Have not experienced a bad show there in the 3 years I have been going there. EXCELLENT bourbon selection, as the moniker implies.

Absolutely love the size, makes the bands sound amazing, makes the whole concert feel like its more personalized to you.

Was here for a venue years ago and didnt think much of the place. Was there last week and loved it. AC works great for when you need to cool down during a show. Sound and lighting systems make for a great show.

What a fun place to grab a slice of pizza. My favorite has pesto sauce with provolone cheese, but theres a bunch of selections to try. This place has a fantastic selection of beers on tap, with some rotating seasonals. It can be a little loud, but always fun to check out.
