We love market, but their mask policy for vendors needs to improve. Face shields are no longer considered effective and a number of vendors relied on face shields or wore their masks incorrectly. We advoided those stands for safety reasons, but enjoyed delicious foods from the other vendors. It was not overly crowded and a great overall experience with good variety.

Very conscientious of the corona virus. Mask are required and a greeter at the door enforces that they are worn and cover nose and mouth. Important because of the close quartered and poorly ventilated space. The market is as thriving as ever. I highly suggest making the trip to one of our cities best treasures.

Lancaster Central Market is the place to be and be seen in downtown Lancaster, PA. It is a large farmers market where local business owners ( Amish and otherwise) sell their offerings to the public. You will find, farm-fresh produce, imported cheeses, home-made candies, pressed sugar-cane juice, cuban sandwiches (a panini made wish ham, roasted fresh pork, swiss cheese, etc.). The list is way too long. A word to the wise: Offerings seem top-notch, but so are the prices! Parking is plentiful and, if you choose not to eat the great food offered at the LCM, there are many restaurants and cafes around, at various price points. Recommended!

They have some of the cutest stores and Im always pleased with their sections of fruits, vegetables, cuts of meats, and cheeses. They also have a delightful little stand called Pineapple House Creations that makes the best smelling candles, lotions, and body creams. If youre ever in town, be sure to stop in to grab a bite to eat. You really shouldnt ever visit Lancaster without doing so.

Ill put the Lancaster Central Market up against any farmers market. In a county renowned for its agricultural vitality, brimming with farmers markets and roadside stands of dizzying variety and quality, and teeming with the best fruits of Mother Earth, Lancaster Central Market is a destination in and of itself. If you enjoy food at all: go.

Everyone was masked and careful. Only so many can go in, so you have to find the right entrance. Parking is always a pain. Just park in the parking garage and walk. Prices at our local market/farm stand are better, so it wasnt that exciting for us. We came for samosas, and there were none. Left disappointed. Im sure this is a great place for city folk.

Drove 30 mins to this indoor market eager to explore. Not worth it. Arrived around noon, overpriced for normal fare (chicken breast 5.99lb, Quart Small strawberries $5). Specialty items were better (1lb peppered bacon $12). Fresh donuts were the best find we found, 6 for $6 large donuts. As far as cooked to order food available there was Cuban food, subs, coffee, tea, paninis.....nothing looked good enough for us to try. Overall, disappointing. All indoors, not much room to walk around. A few storefronts outside in the surrounding area. But the neighborhood a block in any direction sadly leaves you wanting out. Not the Lancaster experience you are looking for.

Always a fun place to visit. The market is following social distancing practices and mask-wearing. There was a very short wait to get in. Im totally okay with that it shows that are being mindful of customers and tenants. I got delicious peanut butter long johns from the Amish family when you first walk in, not shady Maple. Also had a delicious pretzel breakfast breakfast sandwich. Prices are generally good. Everyone couldnt be more friendly. Definitely worth a stop if youre in the area.

I give it 3 stars only because of its history and a few of the vendors try to be authentic. One of my gripes is the fighting between the street entertainers. Confrontations in front of the public hurts everyone. Its a privilege not a right to entertain at the market. Listen up MARY, find a solution or complaints will be filed at the Mayors office. To the entertainers, nobody cares if your with the Gambino family. And Im sure the Gambino family does not appreciate you invoking their name so you can have the market to yourself.
