The Mar y Tierra is amazing! Also, if you bring a bottle of wine they will make sangria for you for a couple bucks. Its a great atmosphere and wonderful treat. We love coming here!

Great Great experience! The ambiance was beautiful as was the art work. The decor was brilliant. The use of bongos as the table base was so Very creative! Very personal service...our server was very knowledgeable and super attentive. Very inviting. We were able to chat with the owners and felt like our family was extended Food was FANTASTIC!! I took my mom & niece and they enjoyed The experience immensely. The restaurant is nestled into a beautiful quiet block in Lancaster with parking just around the corner. Go...you wont be disappointed at ALL! We will return Floras!

More importantly though the flavors are spot on with fresh citrus and cilantro infusions and both the steak and seafood were cooked perfectly to order!We really enjoyed the quaint yet elegant atmosphere even though the place is rather small it doesnt feel stuffy at all!The service was fast, personable and knowledgeable about the menu.Again, Im happy I found the place and will obviously return!

Such a great little place. One of Lancasters many new places to offer authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. A full menu with close to 100 items is daily paired down to a few dozen selections of specials. I sat by the kitchen window and everything that was served looked fresh, delicious, and inviting. My guest and I were both trying this place for the first time. The staff offered helpful suggestions and detailed explanations of how every dish would be prepared.

Talk about authentic. The food here was finger licking good. Seriously wonderful. All the flavors not to salty. We drank their yummy infused water with platanos and steak. For the first time in forever we did not take a doggy bag home and not that it wasnt plenty of food we just couldnt put our forks down. Service was friendly and informative. Atmosphere was artistic and trendy. Oh and extra love if you sit in the back you could charge our phones while u eat. Bring your own wire of course. Oh they arent open place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday unless u book a party.

Best food I have had in awhile it was just absolutely amazing. They were so friendly. The atmosphere is very intimate, perfect for a cute date. Was not too pricy but the menu is small so you cant be too picky. But overall, I would highly recommend stopping in and enjoying some awesome Latin American food. Its also BYOB.

This has made it onto our list of favorites. Kids devoured two plates of yuca fries and we indulged in the lobster paella. If the bread pudding is on the menu, take advantage of it. Fantastic!

Excellent food! Menu changes daily. Suggest making reservations. We walked in mid-afternoon on a Saturday and they could only offer us counter seats since the tablet had all been reserved. Staff were very friendly and the food was tasty and cooked perfectly. This place is NOT accessible. There are steps to get in, steps inside and the bathroom is very small.

The food was amazing here! Everything is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is fun. There is local artists paintings for sale all over the walls. Also all the staff seemed to really enjoy themselves there. I thought they had to be exaggerating when talking about how much they enjoyed the food but it was really good.

Group of 7 had a great lunch. So nice to find this gem open for lunch on Monday. Baby friendly and had a great vibe. Best of all, the food was amazing!We had a variety of appetizers and lunch sandwiches. I had the steak slam on the fried plantains, it was such a good combination of flavors and loved the added crunch!Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. We were all there for the first time, and it wont be the last time!

My son chose Floras for his birthday dinner last Monday, February 10th. I made reservations for 5:45 & when we got there we were in for a disappointment. The gal told me shed left me a message. Reservations got mixed up. We could be seated but wed have to eat quickly because guests were coming in about 45 minutes. We left. We will not be returning! BTW, I did have a voicemail...it said they could change our time till 7:30. She didnt mention that to us when wed arrived.We headed to Sukotai where we r never disappointed!

Floras is an awesome family owned restaurant. Both times my family and I ate here were on Mondays. Monday is all you can eat EMPANADAS! Delish.Very friendly service. Great experience.

A little gem, opened for Monday lunch, creating great Latin cuisine from local fresh ingredients. The staff is welcoming and very attentive, and the chef is personable and also regularly chats with diners. We have tried several of the mainstays and specials and found everything delicious. We love coming here.

It was good, the waiter was super nice and accommodating..the food was really good! It could have used just a tad more seasoning but still. Very good! I would return. Also the hostess was very nice and held the door for me. (I am disabled).

Fantastic Latin cuisine and large portions. Ive never had dessert because Im always too full! Must come back sometime just for dessert so I can try it - they always sound good.

Let me start telling you. I am a foodie. This is my drug of choice. My friend came home from California and wanted me to come try this place with him. He had come before and love it. So I joined. Soon as I walked in i noticed the decor it’s like something out of a throwback salsa movie. Amazing. The art on the walls takes you in. We were greated by a young lady with a great smile and personality. I had a cup of coffee to start and Wowzers. What a way to get started. Best cup of coffee I’ve had in a very long time. Taste like moms café con leche. Then we ordered the empanadas they came out with a home made cilantro sauce that is to die for. I may go back to see if I can buy a jar! Lol. Followed by the “típico” which is the name of the plate we ordered. This thing came out of the kitchen looking like a piece of art. By that point I was not as hungry anymore but had to eat every last ounce because it was so delicious. I can’t wait to come back with my wife. This place is a Lancaster Pa hidden gem. 10 stars!!

Cuban style food with a good variety. Very tasty empanadas and ponatahs and beef and pork dishes. The pork was a little salty. Please serve milk and sugar with the coffee. Off the beaten path gem that you cant miss!

Wow just wow!!! Each and everytime they brought a new dish, we were literally blown away. It was my boyfriends first time and we brought wine with us. Our server made us an amazing Sangeria! We also ordered the empanadas which were to die for! We then decided to get the bucalito AGAIN AMAZING!! The combination of flavors were something we couldn’t compare to anything we ever had! THEN!! He brought out the entrees, I had the Bote Humado and he had the mar y tierra! I was overwhelmed with the flavors!! Both dishes were phenomenal!!!! But wait !!! He told us about the dessert Guayabatron!!! The sweet and spicy was brilliant.Not only did we have phenomenal service, the food left me lost for words and overwhelmed with joy!This is definitely Lancaster’s best and the world needs to know! Thank you Floras for making our date more than memorable!

This place was just awesome. I felt like I was visiting Latin America. Little tables packed in closely together, too many different conversations to even tune in to, bright colors and paintings on the walls, the energy level was through the roof. Oh, and the food? I havent had restaurant food that exquisitely prepared in years. The meal I got was truly one of the best meals I have eaten, anywhere. Go there for a memorable meal with people you enjoy, not the place if youre watching the clock or looking at spreadsheets and needing quiet. Im looking forward to my next visit to FLORAS!

My Abuela has raved about this place since it opened and we finally had a chance to go in together last night. So freaking happy that we did! Loved the decor - the paintings were beautiful and I love how everything felt so vibrant but cozy at the same time. The venue is small and it got a bit loud, but that seemed to fit because loud was the defining characteristic of all my Puerto Rican familys gatherings.And the food. To. Die. For! I ordered the lobster paella and Abuela had the pernil. Both were outstanding and the portion sizes are amazing!Wonderful experience. Im looking forward to returning

The food was delicious! Only 3 stars because of the service. After we ordered, had to wait an hour for our food to be served and we had to ask for drinks because the waitress never offered to us.

We have been twice. Food was good and would recommend the place. There was a mix up with our reservation one night and they seemed inflexible with correcting it, I.e. they had the wrong time down and there were open tables in the back but they wanted us to stay up front so they put us at some bar stools at the window. I felt they could have been a bit more flexible and worked with us. I wouldn’t go as far as saying the service was poor, just could have been better. That said the paella is top notch and we would eat there again for sure.

Excellent little spot in Lancaster. The servers/owners are kind, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the food is beyond reproach. Try the sunken boat, its a plantain with veggies on rice and beans with an egg on top. Well seasoned and a very filling.

The moment I took my first bite of their Cuban sandwhich, I looked at my friend and nodded. I found it. The best Ive ever had.The best Latin food in Lancaster PA, period. I wouldnt be surprised if it were the best in PA period.As someone whos grown up in a Cuban household back in NYC, their cuban sandwich and pernil are the best Ive ever tasted. They also have amazing artwork along the walls and a big backyard for parties. The main dining room is cozy, but it works.GO TO FLORAS!

Food was good but service was very slow. It was Mothers Day weekend and 2 colleges had graduations that weekend so they had several large parties. Hoping service will be better next time.

The food is spectacular. Always fresh ingredients, cooked fresh, and never preheated! The service is great, even when its busy. Try the seafood empanada, its my favorite! You can take alcohol and drink there, if you so choose.

Disappointed that we made reservations weeks in advance and they called to cancel a few days before we were to come for Parent’s Weekend for a last minute rental of their entire restaurant. We will not be frequenting Flora’s.

We reserved Floras for my wifes 30th surprise birthday and from beginning to end everything was absolutely perfect!The food was amazing, especially the open face cuban sandwiches which everyone raved about!The environment was vibrant and romantic, the perfect setting for great conversation, drinking, and dancing.Most importantly, everyone at the restaurant was so warm and welcoming, we felt like we were part of the Floras family for the night!Its been a couple days since the event now, and I still have friends telling me they cant wait to go back! Thank you to everyone at Floras for an incredible night!

If youre looking for authentic Hispanic food or good food in general I do not advise going to Las Floras. The setting has nothing to do with Hispanic culture and very cramped and loud. The food also is obviously not made authentically. With cheddar cheese being incorporated in a Pupusa and the canned beans being incorporated into every dish, one can tell this isnt authentic Hispanic food. I sincerely recommend picking up some hot food from a Hispanic owned corner store rather than eating here. With that best of luck to everyone searching for a place to eat!

Great food and extremely pleasant service. And if you go, take some time to focus on the decor. Fabulous! We even enjoyed a lengthy chat with Flora and her husband who came and sat with us as we finished our meal. Great time! Awesome location for a private, mid-week party too! We dont live near Lancaster but I immediately began to dream up reasons to return.

Wow. The place has been here for 4 years and I never knew it. Now I have to make up for it. Had the beef and cheese empanada. Talk about a meal and its only the appetizer. I had the Cubano and my wife had the Pollo Frito. Flavorful and spiced right. From first bite to last, the flavor stood out. Definitely a do again.One complaint :they call the sauce Als Caliente, but Caliente it was not. BTW, I eat volcano wings

The food here is amazing and the price is reasonable! Also, Flora and her husband are great cooks especially when it comes to Spanish food. Not every Spanish restaurant in Lancaster knows how to make Latin food, but here They know the Latin recipe!!

Food and service were excellent. The roasted pork with rice and beans was great as well as the tres leche cake. It is BYOB. I highly recommend trying Flora’s. They do take reservations.

Nice quaint place my wifes name is Flora thats why we went there we met Flora and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great and also a wonderful atmosphere.

Ive had some of the best foods all over the world, and this restaurant was extremely impressive to me. The menu is changing all the time, and Ive been here three times already. Each time was as good as the last and easily can rate this as a 5 star food experience.

Unfortunately My experience at Floras was horrible. I had heard great things about the restaurant and was eager to try it. My mother was in town visiting for the first time, so I thought wed check it out. We were told we needed to make reservations (even though all online marketing says come on down) and were promised a phonecall in 40mins when a table was vacant. An hour later no phone call, so we called back and after they were shuffling the phone back and forth between employees, we were told we could order outside and the food would be brought to the table where we were designated to sit by the window. As we were waiting outside the table became vacant and I asked the waiter if he could seat us there since it was vacant and he says hes not sure and goes back to speak to hostess. Hostess and waiter are talking right in front of us and then both turn around and walk back in leaving us outside looking foolish, with no explanation or apology. Two hour wait, bad customer service and a horrible experience. It is truly unfortunate, but I will never try again! There are similar restaurants in town with WAY better customer service that I know I will not experience what I experienced there.
