My favorite Knoxville theater! Located downtown near some of the best restaurants and specialty shops. On the weekends garage parking is ample and free. The perfect place for date night. It has a full service bar with mixed drinks and a wide selection of beers as well as the usual concession stand goodies, like popcorn, soda and candy. After the show stroll down Market Square to enjoy the outdoor art and babbling brook. Once covid is controlled you can enjoy live music and other entertainment, like the Friday Shakespeare production, all within a block from the theater.

Wow! What an experience! They have reclining seats and someone comes right to your chair and takes your food and drink order from a full menu that includes favorites like candy and popcorn! It was so weird but so cool at the same time. We got popcorn, and donut holes with dipping sauce and honestly the best wings I have ever had in my life!! Im going here for all my movies from now on.

Last time I went in, I was meeting a friend for the Han Solo movie. Traffic held me up and I was late. I decided it was no longer worth it and called an Uber. While waiting, I purchased a popcorn bucket and sat on the bench inside (it was cold outside). The theater attendee asked if I was waiting for a movie, I informed them of the above issue. For some reason they attempted several times to get me into another showing and asked to see my movie pass to check times (I had this at the time) I repeatedly told them Im waiting to leave. The attendee then went to talk to an officer in the theater who then approached me. I stood up and told both of them that Im leaving because there is no sense arguing with either one of you and risk endangering myself.I wont return here until:1. I purchase the venue and relieve that staff member of their duty2. Become mayor/governor and require police to have a degree in criminal justice, routine re-certification and community service.

This is a wonderful movie theater that hits all the notes you want. Clean, great service, big enough to host enough showings. The staff is wonderful, super friendly and attentive. From the ticket counter to the concession stand, everyone smiles and makes you feel welcome. The auditoriums are fairly big, with the chairs being fairly comfortable as well. The screens and audio are what youd expect from a great modern theater. All this combined make Regal Cinemas Riviera 8 the perfect spot for a night out at the movies.

All around best place to catch a movie. Mixed drinks can be a bit pricey, I would suggest sticking with draft beers. Great movie screens and wide variety of popular films. Validated/free parking in all the city owned garages with ticket stub for up to 3 hours. (Parking is closest at State Street garage on State Street. Walkway access is on level 3. There is also an elevator.) There are automated ticket machines in the lobby as well if there are long lines at the box office.

This is probably my favorite theatre in Knoxville. Its location is what sets it apart, though - inside, its just a normal Regal Theatre. The only reason I take off a star is because it is incredibly over-priced: $10 dollars for a matinee ticket, and refreshments bring the bill up to around $20 per person.

Was not happy with our experience here! I was with a friend and her handicap daughter that lives in a wheelchair. Regal in the past has allowed the handicap person in free in a wheelchair, and only charged for the mother. My friend was informed that they had never let the wheelchair person in free that they let their caregiver in free, and that doesn’t apply to a mother it would only apply to a caregiver that is escorting from a facility and has a facility identification. BAD decision Regal! I also paid over $23 dollars for a large pop corn one large coke and a large water, that is totally ridiculous!!! Such a shame you have made a movie experience to only allow wealthy people to participate. I am not happy with your cost, your changes in treatment of wheelchair people , I will try to go to another theater on my next trip to the movies, NOT REGAL!!!! I must say this happened at Turkey Creek REGAL Knoxville, not at Gay Street , I don’t know why Google Maps put the wrong address on here!!!

From the beginning of buying the tickets to the time I was walking out of the theater, my experience was great. The gentleman at the ticket counter was patient with need and my kids along with helpful. Next stop was concession stand where I was given quick friendly service. When we were heading out, one of my kids lost their gloves and a staff member was quick to help me find it in the theater. Very much appreciated it.

I tried to pre-order tickets on the regal app and it didnt work, so I tried the regular website and that did not work either...Then I found out they charged my card 4 times and still did not give me my tickets or any email about the transaction details. I tried to call them 6 times to get a refund and ask about the situation and no one would answer. After that headache I just went on Fandango and ordered the tickets no problem at all...

This theater makes me imagine going to a show in the old days, if only because it is located on downtown Gay Street. It blends beautifully into the building and offers abundant seating, state of the art projectors and all of the latest feature films. The popcorn is always fresh and delicious, the sodas are always ice cold, and the other snack options are satisfying. If you love movies, architecture, and a touch of class, this theater experience is for you.

This facility was clean and the staff were friendly but it is way to expensive! It cost over $27 for two small popcorns and drinks... really?!? Thats absolutely ridiculous! I can go to other theaters just as nice for much cheaper! The popcorn was burnt and stale as well. If I had not of had a gift card I would not have even went this time.
